Now I am currently fat as butter so planning on:

  • black j brand majors
  • black lurex jumper from wallis
  • leopard print heels

So what will you all be wearing?

Raspberry pink cashmere dress with gold sparkly high heels and belt, both of which will come off as soon as I've eaten lunch!

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/12/2012 18:49

Oh your dress sounds gorgeous - where from and link if possible please? Also to shoes.

Pink velvet Boden 'pretty trim' dress
Black velvet opaques
Snakeskin Mary Janes

NulliusInBlurba · 18/12/2012 19:13

I haven't quite made my final decision yet, but I'm definitely tending towards clothes. I know, I know, it lacks originality, but Christmas is all about tradition.

mummywithnosleep · 18/12/2012 19:13

Ok I will be wearing

Black Combat trousers (scruffs from Screw fix)
Thermal Vest

Fleece

tak1ngchances · 18/12/2012 19:14

Dress is actually from Denner cashmere. They have an outlet store nr clapham junction. It's got a scoop neck and fitted waist with a really full skirt.
The gold shoes are from primark! And the belt 3 yrs ago from Whistles

Northernlurker · 18/12/2012 19:17

I picked this up today, most pleased. Hides turkey dinner tummy and can be dressed up or down hopefully.

A pearl lowe for peacocks purple ballerina print dress
purple tights
faux suede purple shoes-new look

Pretty but not too uncomfortable-and I can fit my cath kidston pinny over it!

ELR · 18/12/2012 19:47

Suntoday that dress looks nice! How does it fit is it true to size? I'm a 12/14 would medium be good?

MaryChristmaZEverybody · 18/12/2012 19:47

Leggings and the loosest top I can find, with a looser jumper on top, sadly.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/12/2012 19:52

No idea. Probably opaques and a jumper dress.

TurkeyDino · 18/12/2012 19:52

Currently utterly massive and needing to return to slimming world so not the most inspired of outfits;

Bird print tunic-y dress type thing
black opaques
stretchy waist belt
black suede platforms

Might do some glittery eyeliner or something for added festivity.

UterusUterusGhaLaLaLaLaLi · 18/12/2012 19:53

Ooh I don't know yet!
I'm in a non shoe wearing house for lunch, so I'm thinking a green dress & tights or smartish jeans and a big slouchy jumper. Had to be comfy this year.

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/12/2012 19:55

God a non-shoe wearing house - that would ruin my lunch [shallow] [don't like feet]

ceeveebee · 18/12/2012 19:56

I bought this yesterday and will wear with black opaques and boots

CalamityJones · 18/12/2012 19:56

I'm starting off with a gorgeous Toast dressing gown and cashmere bedsocks, followed by jeans, wellies and a Barbour for walking the hound. Something really forgiving after that as I plan on stuffing my fat face for the entire rest of the day. Perhaps a mumu?

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/12/2012 19:58

Maisie looks lovely.

Calamity - I seriously nearly googled mumus earlier.

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/12/2012 19:59

Ugh. I wouldn't dream of wearing shoes in anybody's house.

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/12/2012 20:00

Remus no - don't say you're one of them. You're in Viv and bare feet [shudders at ruination of outfit]

OP posts:
CalamityJones · 18/12/2012 20:00

A mumu would ruin the leopard print heels, and they sound far too good to waste!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/12/2012 20:03

Viv and fluffy socks it is! I hate shoes.

MaryChristmaZEverybody · 18/12/2012 20:05

I will be in my own house, so will be wearing comfy slippers under my comfy loose clothes.

The diet starts in January. Or possibly February, maybe.
