Now I am currently fat as butter so planning on:

  • black j brand majors
  • black lurex jumper from wallis
  • leopard print heels

So what will you all be wearing?

Hmm, depends on weather.
We only have PILs coming for a few hours in the morning and then are just us 4 all day, but still like to look nice. DH has a walk planned though.

Sooo, either the silvery grey "Helena looks great in it, you will look sackaspudlike" Boden Merino slouchy jumper and black skinnies or black Damsel in a dress knot front dress that made everyone think I'd lost weight when I'd actually gained.

I'm praying for rain so I can feel svelte.

No shoes unless outside (weirdy have to wear shoe people!) and possibly reindeer antler beedly boppers Xmas Smile

I am torn. I bought this and its lovely but needs to be worn with heels. or this is green which I can wear with boots but may be too warm in.

dairymoo · 18/12/2012 20:16

Ski gear in the morning Grin, and this for the afternoon's indulgences.

iMe · 18/12/2012 20:59

Undecided. Love the Phase Eight Dress someone linked to, but MUST NOT buy any more....I'll have to pull something out of the wardrobe....probably won't decide until the morning.

Dancealot · 18/12/2012 21:15

I'm going shopping tomorrow, but I'm hoping to be wearing one of these two dresses:

M&S

or

phase eight

perplexedpirate · 18/12/2012 21:19

I'm wearing a black Gok Wan Hot Knot dress. It's lovely, dead pleased with it, but it needs a heel. Is it ok to wear heels in your own home or is if a bit try-hard?
I've got some gorgeous green Irregular Choice ones but will I be over egging the pudding?

Meglet · 18/12/2012 21:36

Track pants and new PJ top. Jeans for a walk in the afternoon, then back to PJ's.

First Xmas at home in 20yrs Smile.

libertychick · 18/12/2012 21:45

This pink tweed skirt with pink cardi, opaques and definitely slippers in the house! Biker style boots when we go for a walk.

Gingersnap88 · 18/12/2012 22:23

Cashmere jumper dress in biscuity beige colour from crumpet, lace camisole underneath (low scoop neck to dress), vintage brown leather waist belt, opaque tights (black) and slippers (brown leather boots for leaving the house, with huge orange/red scarf)

But mainly festive PJs Grin

Meggles76 · 18/12/2012 22:53

Boden pimlico dress in pine. Opaques. And Zara black suede platform ankle boots.

novelsituation · 19/12/2012 06:39

I'm wearing this. Planning to wear it as much as possible over the next few weeks as I suspect the lace might look dated next year as it is so ubiquitous right now.

Snowkey · 19/12/2012 07:18

Jumper dress and opaques, I need to be comfy and wearing something washable as I do most of the chefing.

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/12/2012 07:25

Some lovely outfits planned - love the whistles lace dress. So do all of your families dress up too?

Black maternity leggings and a sized-up slouchy jumper from Ted Baker. And slippers (that I'm hoping will still fit my swollen feet on Xmas day!)

bulletwithbutterflywings · 19/12/2012 08:03

I am the size of the moon at the moment so I will be wearing a big loose cream jumper with studs all over the shoulders, black patterned pleather leggings and my beautiful new teal ankle boots. It's a bit Jerseylicious I know but it works!

Calam I think a Mumu could be a very viable option for me too! In fact a disturbing mount of 'dresses' I tried on in H&M and Zara yesterday seemed to be Mumus in disguise...

ScampiFriesRuleOK · 19/12/2012 08:10

Ivory tiered chiffon French Connection a-line dress, with opaques (but what colour???) and probably ballerina flats as I'll be doing all the cooking/hosting/toddler-marshall. I've got the following pumps: red sequined, gold French Soles, or plain black.
Can't decision what tights/flats combo to go for. Argh, any thoughts?

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 19/12/2012 09:16

Mouse-coloured merino dress from Brand Alley, prob burgundy opaques/poss lace ones if I can find some, plus my just-ordered prune Ash Spirals.
< prays for the post fairy to do her magic >

polyhymnia · 19/12/2012 09:29

I'm seriously impressed by anyone who can do all the Christmas cooking in ivory coloured chiffon!!
I'll be wearing a long sparkly top and Boden black Roma trousers - slim legged but comfy. No shoes in the house ( though don't usually enforce this on others). Leopard shoes for church in morning, trainers for walk in park in afternoon.

TheCortanaThatStoleChristmas · 19/12/2012 14:11

Red strapless dress with cashmere cream cardi. Dress is just below my knee. May go for cream tights or leggings. Hair up and pearl necklace on. Just the three of us this year but we've swung from a day in jammies to dressing up just for us. DP might even push the boat out with a tie.

SantasNaughtySack · 19/12/2012 14:33

Similar to this but brighter red
These and
These with red lipstick, victory rolls, and a silly paper hat. Xmas Grin
