Full Circle dress wasn't nice in the flesh (as it were), very thin cotton fabric and I prefer more of a stretchy jersey.

I didn't try it on though, but see thru is a big no no for me.

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 13:00

what about \link{http://www.principles.co.uk/pws/ProductDetails.ice?ProductID=468\this one} for curvier ladies?

shame its black though

crunchie · 23/03/2006 13:06

anniemac, I'll try it on for you tomorrow!!

I am in the west end, so will do the biggest DP I can find!

NDP like that one, you could wear it now with a light thin black long sleeved T-Shirt underneath and black opaque tights and flat pumps, or with jeans/trs underneath, loads of buttons undone. Or with cool wedge sandals for a smarter thing, Teal blue or turquise bright high wedges would look cool. I am going to DP and Debenhams tomorrow so I will report back!

crunchie · 23/03/2006 13:15

Mazzystar personally I think that is the worst of both world IMHO, it is a wrap dress crossed witha shirt dress, and teh wide skirt will make hips look bigger and it is £65 and only from Principles I think it is pricey too!!

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 13:17

i thought it might be quite sophia loren! but i know what you mean about the wrap bit mixed with shirt, bit strange.

foxinsocks · 23/03/2006 13:28

I like the look of the Next one - will go and see if I can find it tomorrow and test drive it

I'm not too sure of the length either - if the dress only comes down just to the knee, then I think it'll prob be a no-no for me. I'd prefer them a bit longer.

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 13:30

great dress ndp

i had a feeling those wide belts were in that you pull for a waist

again, im too short. bugger.

i think i might have a look at that dress on saturday

anyone seen any nice safari type

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 13:35

\link{http://www.asos.com/Washed-Frill-Shirt-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=77377&cid=1391\again prob nice with trousers}

foxinsocks · 23/03/2006 13:43

that last one is very short - I doubt you could sit down in it without flashing your bits

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 13:49

thats my favourite though, im quite short so itll probably be at my knees. or you could wear with trousers.

does anyone know if ASOS are back to normal with deliveries etc yet?

foxinsocks · 23/03/2006 13:50

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 14:22

what i needed to hear, np.

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:23

hope i havent offended Blush

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 14:25

not at all - you'd have to try harder than than that Grin
i think grannyish is a bit of a danger with lots of these dresses unless slim and worn with attitude.

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:27

i agree mazzy about there being a thin line between granny and stylish chick with these dresses

im taking the safe option and getting a short one like the ones on ASOS below

will undo just one too many buttons too possibly in my quest

cod · 23/03/2006 14:28
