looking on the full circle website, the do a shirt, skirt and bag in that same print.

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 11:07

What do I do to enable my phone, go on Orange?

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 11:08

I have no idea how to upload from my mob to my pc, suspect I need some sort of extra cable, which I, inevitably, don't have.

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 11:09

I have a box full of cables and what looks like Holy Bible sized instruction book (yawn) who has the frigging time?

fastasleep · 23/03/2006 11:09

D'you think there's any chance of an extremely 'norkilly talanted' lady getting away with one of those dresses?

I thought I was an E but my tape measure lied, soon as I tried some bras on it became apparent that I'm a 30 H-HH ugh.

Fed up of mentioning my bra size now, will just put 'extremely large with small body' in future.

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 11:11

I would say that norky women will look good in them, but you just have to wear it buttoned quite low in a sexy way (not so low it looks tarty though), and buy one that is a slightly longer length (so you don't show too much leg/thigh which would cheapen it).

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 11:12

That's what I'll be doing, anyhow

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 11:13

Did anyone see Hustle the other day? The woman had a white dress on that was fabulous (there is thread on here in Telly about it somewhere).

She has hers buttoned low and it was a swishy jersey number.

fastasleep · 23/03/2006 11:21

I'll just have to go try one on then...Grin not that anything fits me, doesn't hold out much hope

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 11:26

why are they all shown with belts? i thought big belts were out?

ro is it just the disc type ones?

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 11:30

No, those disc types ones are WAYYYYYYY out, but wide/chunky belts are still in, just being worn on the waist as a cincher rather than low on the hips this season

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 11:32

they had a model with a belt tied under her boobs yesterday in the Times

That sounds comfy........

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 11:33

I have quite a high, narrow waist so get the feeling this will look a bit bizarre on me.

crunchie · 23/03/2006 12:10

NDP depends how large your arse is tbh!! :)

My feeling is if you are going for a dress with a self tie belt, the best will be done up loosely. If you add a belt you ahad better be quite straight up and down orelse there will be too much fabric bunching above/below the belt and again look V Nurse-like

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 12:10

Liking the aubergine coloured one in Next Directory (newer one). Not too sure about the length though.

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 12:11

Arse is not big, but am deffo not straight up and down, much more of an 1950's hourglass shape (sz12)

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 12:15

Bum, not aubergine coloured, it's black. Looks aubergine on the pic though.

crunchie · 23/03/2006 12:23

I am quite hourglass too, that is why I am not going for the added belt option and I might tryuthe Dotty P one \link{http://www.dorothyperkins.co.uk/promostores/dp/2006\here} with a ribbon belt and cute sleeves. It looks long enough - knees ish, but I could leave a bit unbuttoned there. It doesn't look nursey, so I'm trying it tomorrow

crunchie · 23/03/2006 12:27

this one looks nice \link{http://www.dorothyperkins.co.uk/promostores/dp/2006\here} but may not work with my bingo wings. It could look nice with a t-shirt underneath for spring though.

crunchie · 23/03/2006 12:28

Oops won't go to the right dress, the nice one is teh black mandarin one with the red sash, also there are some others that are not so tight in teh skirt that might stop the knicker flash!!

FrannyandZooey · 23/03/2006 12:31

The tight sort really makes you look curvy IMO. I am straight up and down and this dress makes me look like I have a waist and a bum. If you actually are curvy I think it might look a bit Carry On Shock

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 12:34

\link{http://www.debenhams.com/jv/product_details_jv.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=9087619&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=7023777&bmUID=1143117091968\Bold Pattern but I like it, not sure what shoes though other than flat smarter flip flop type thing}
