I look like a right old bag in them - think it's my big norks

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:38

they have them in H&M - excellent. im going there saturday.

i really have to disagree as i find the full skirt ones give me the most ginormous hips which to me is matronly. unless they are above knee i suppose

\link{http://www.principles.co.uk/pws/ProductDetails.ice?ProductID=468\it's the one that Mazzy did earlier but it is in white in the magazine,hmmmm}

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 14:42

if you zoom over the fabric it shows how pretty it is, broderie lace (whatever that is)

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:48

silly question - if its all over broderie would it not be see-through?

oliveoil · 23/03/2006 14:51

Not sure, I wish I could get the pic from the magazine, it looked really nice.

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:52

maybe it has a lining.

i think that dress would look nice in white if you had a tan, bear legs and nice tan-coloured shoes and bag

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 14:53

LOL at bear legs - all fuzzy?

welshmum · 23/03/2006 14:53

Grin nailpolish at bear legs

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:57

think i should go for a lie down Blush

welshmum · 23/03/2006 14:58

In your warm cave?? Smile

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 14:59

i havent quite yet woken up from my winter hibernation, hence the terrible spelling mistakes

laughinglil · 23/03/2006 15:01

hurry up summer so i can wear them with flip flops!

Mazzystar · 23/03/2006 15:36

carol vorderman wearing one on countdown right now.

does that mean they are over already?

FrannyandZooey · 23/03/2006 17:49

I wore mine out to a friend's today and while dancing with her toddler 2 of the buttons pinged off Shock

Another one went when I bent down to put my shoes on as we left. Do you think I maybe should have bought a bigger size? Blush

cupcakes · 23/03/2006 17:57

Oh dear. Is it the Matalan one or the new Look one?

FrannyandZooey · 23/03/2006 18:00

Matalan. It is that thick stretchy material. Fitted fine when I was standing up, honest.

Do you think it was me or were the buttons not sewn on properly?

Thank god I was at a friends and not walking round town or something

nailpolish · 23/03/2006 18:02

definitely the buttons

did you manage to save them?

cod · 23/03/2006 18:13

NP, i had a gorgeous dark stone coloured safari type shirt dress when they were in a few years ago.

V keen on the swirly one I linked to earlier, will put it on my list.

NomDePlume · 23/03/2006 18:18

Cod, the wrap dresses look ok with jeans if they are really short length. Mine is knee length and looks terrible with trousers, looks like I couldn't decide which to wear.
