Am nearly 38 and although haven't got any lines, was told that you had to have Botox before they started appearing? Is this right?

And what else do I need to know about it? Will it hurt? How often do you have to have it?

Thank you MC

I don't actually like my eyebrows lifted and have it put in the muscles above them to prevent it. The first time I didn't at first and my brows went up about a cm.

I have big eyes and it made me look slightly unhinged! It was very easy to put right though.

I just wanted to come back here and say how much I absolutely love my Botox. I went shopping today and every time I saw myself unexpectedly in mirrors I smiled!
I didn't realise how much that frown had been getting me down over time.

Oh I'm def going to look in to it. Is it best to go for local smaller place or big name places then if something goes wrong u r better covered?

Tell the practitioner exactly what you want I have a slight lift to outer corners as it eliminated slight hooding from the first time. Once you have had it once you can decide what you did and didn't like and then when you go back tell him/her so that they can tailor it. I have only brow done and quite near hairline plus outer brows lifted a tiny bit I get the same result every time now as he has a drawing of where I like it in the notes HTH

Although it's referred to as an eyebrow lift for me it's not so much the eyebrow as upper eyelid. I just look slighter wider eyed and you can see more of my lower lid.

I went to a small beautician that has a regular clinic with a visiting doctor.
I knew what I wanted, he agreed, and we were done within 45 minutes.
I thought my eyes were less hooded but thought I was imagining it!
I've been princessing a bit too. I'm like a budgie, I can't walk past a mirror!
