Good morning all, welcome to week 4! A reminder of the rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well, eat fruit and veg
Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen at ALL TIMES
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night
Use handcream and join the horned hoof club on their thread if you have vile feet

Suzywong is Harvey from Fit Club and will pop in every now and again to say Good Luck to You but in her absence: Good Luck To You.

God, I've done so badly. Thursday last week all Went Badly and it's been downhill ever since.

Am back on wagon today - determined to have a good week.

Have had virtuous porridge breakfast and just had leek and chickpea soup for lunch. Lentil moussaka later. No Wine all week for me.

motherinferior · 27/03/2006 13:39

I've had seven portions of fruit'n'veg already today [smug]

yoyo · 27/03/2006 13:59

DH is at home which is always problematic as he likes to prepare meals (usually of the non-virtuous kind). He has also bought Burt's crisps. And wine. And chocolate.

After this evening I am on the wagon!

Had planned salmon with a pecorino and pesto crust but have just received a call from a friend who says she has just bought cod that was caught this morning. Looks like we'll be having that instead.

Pudding will be dried apricots stuffed with almonds and poached in honey and orange juice with vanilla. They will be served with vanilla rice pudding.
Truly calorific.
And there are cheeses...

I will only have very small portions honestly.

Someone please tell me if the party's moved to another thread without me noticing Grin. Not a good weekend and went to homeopath who says my liver needs a rest!!!!! Anyway, am going to Purge Myself of all sins this week, just you watch! (As an aside though, am feeling very low and sort of On The Road To Nowhere now I'm 45, am always busy, and I feel I'm aging all of a sudden, hence the stress about the 2k that I can't shift. Does anyone have any good ideas for psyching myself back up? It seems such a silly thing to admit to so I can't admit it to dh or RL mates. Going to have my hair cut n coloured tomorrow as part of WWW's Feeling Good plan, but have lost confidence about what suits me and it seems harder and harder to get back to the 'old' me).

WideWebWitch · 27/03/2006 19:16

Callmemadam, I'm still being crap too. I am going to book myself an appointment in about a month's time with a John Lewis personal shopper in an effort to buy some clothes I don't feel utterly ugly in.
