Good morning all, welcome to week 4! A reminder of the rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well, eat fruit and veg
Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen at ALL TIMES
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night
Use handcream and join the horned hoof club on their thread if you have vile feet

Suzywong is Harvey from Fit Club and will pop in every now and again to say Good Luck to You but in her absence: Good Luck To You.

Sympathies extraordinaire, mt. I too am due to enter dissertation hell, sooner than I can bear to think about.

monkeytrousers · 22/03/2006 23:09

Excuse me, Mooney? I seem to remember a post from you not so long ago paying tribute to my capacity to be playing both fiddles at once, as it were. This was before 'the trubbles' of course..Grin

Callmemadam · 22/03/2006 23:10

Back on the naughty bench: all went rather well until that first glass of wine snuck up on meee (cackles wildly and exits, huccuping gently.......)

monkeytrousers · 22/03/2006 23:10

Scrummy, you can meet me on the student parents thread anytime!

monkeytrousers · 22/03/2006 23:12

and I'm off to bed, I've the attention span of a knat!!

crunchie · 22/03/2006 23:12

OK not such a good dinner I suppose. Eggs, chips and beans with fried mushrooms :) mmmmm Not taht bad diet wise honest as fried with spray oil, beans are healthy and not THAT many chips (oven ones less than 5% fat!)

Off to bed, but must cleanse and moisturise first.

Went to the gym today and I ACHE! I know it will be worse tomorrow and I have the dentist in th afternoon :(

moondog · 22/03/2006 23:12

Oh yeah....
lol
You're such a juggler MT. Grin

ScummyMummy · 22/03/2006 23:13

That would be to admit that it's something inevitable that has to be done though, mt. And I'm not quite ready for that yet. Am still at the dipping tiny segments of toe in the water, finding it is utterly freezing and running away stage. Sigh.

monkeytrousers · 22/03/2006 23:19

Oi Mooney, wocchittt!!!Grin

Scrummy, if it were up to me I'd be doing it all in a week and driving myself round the bend, but I have an alter ego that wants me to get a bloody first (though that's never going to happen) and become a lecturer myself. Thats my dream - how sad and impossible! Ah!

Sorry for the hijack WWW Blush

I'm back and determined to do a bit better. Restarting weightwatchers todaay after a 3 week hiatus.

Porridge and lemon and hot water so far for me today.

WideWebWitch · 23/03/2006 08:57

Thanks Winnie! Batters, you've had LOTS and lots of good days though so remember that and see yesterday as a blip not an excuse to go fkit. (ahem, says she, who regularly says fkit!) Welcome back puddle. MT and others, intellectuals welcome, in fact I think there are quite a few here, we're not all just sunscreen and Shiraz you know! :)

The Muscadet won last night but I only had two glasses and was in bed fairly early.

I got up at 6 this morning and did the LK video for an hour. Feel fantastic. It is a beautiful day - the sun is shining, birds are singing, the daffs are nodding their heads. I ususally wake early and lie in bed thinking about the day ahead so I am going to try getting up when I wake and putting the time to good use.

I have also walked to and from school and am now going to buy something healthy for today's meals.

Monkeytrousers - what are you studying?

WideWebWitch · 23/03/2006 09:39

No batters, still waiting, but am finding other ways to deal with stress and promising myself I'll continue to do so! Bad effect of coffee is cancelled by good effect of seeing friend I reckon! Yoyo, oh 2 glasses is fine!

Blackduck · 23/03/2006 09:51

Good day until I got home - then dp took me out to dinner and two bottles of wine later....(my excuse is I didn't even get shortlisted for a job I thought had my name on it...gutted Sad )

yoyo · 23/03/2006 09:59

Sorry to hear about the job Blackduck. Hope you enjoyed the meal and the wine and were able to put your disappointment aside for the evening (not easy I know).

WideWebWitch · 23/03/2006 11:42

Yay, my job situation is resolved, I have a written offer, hooray!
