WideWebWitch · 20/03/2006 09:18

Good morning all, welcome to week 4! A reminder of the rules:

Be as happy as possible. The odd night of booze and chocolate is fine
It's not a diet, it's trying to eat healthily and well, eat fruit and veg
Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
Some exercise, walking is fine
Use sunscreen at ALL TIMES
Take your make up off before bed
Get enough sleep, aim to be in bed by 10, 10.30 every night
Use handcream and join the horned hoof club on their thread if you have vile feet

Suzywong is Harvey from Fit Club and will pop in every now and again to say Good Luck to You but in her absence: Good Luck To You.

yoyo · 22/03/2006 18:34

Kids driving me bonkers. Nothing prepared for supper. Muscadet in fridge.

moondog · 22/03/2006 19:40

winnie,I rad about him in the Observer.
Steve Wright also mentioned him on the readio today.
God,I soooooo hopw we don't have the Hollywood movie in a few years.....

Muesli banana yoghurt
Sushi fruit
Shepherds pie stir fried cabbage
Dried nuts and fruit

I am proud to announce that 1/2 bottle of Muscadet has remained untouched in my fridge for three days (needed one half for a recipe)
Also,my tightest jeans keep on slipping down and showing a chavvy expanse of g string.
Mortifying and yet...in context,strangely pleasing.

moondog · 22/03/2006 19:41

And swim with dd.
Gym tomorrow.
iPod all loaded with new set of inspirational tunes.
Ashamed to admit it but 80s West Coast rock (or rather...rahk) features heavily. Blush

crunchie · 22/03/2006 20:33

Well I have been pretty good, been to the gym, drank loads of water, moisturised, cleaned face before bed and no wine :)

WideWebWitch · 22/03/2006 20:36

A pat on the back for me, NO WINE, aforementioned food plus

3 organic sausages
carrots
skin on mash with mustard
a banana
a few pine nuts
water

And I've just arranged to meet a friend for a walk tomorrow afternoon, without children so we can walk properly and fast. And she's lovely so will cheer me up. So The Apprentice and an early night for me :)

What is sushi fruit, md? Or is it sushi, fruit?

I've had a good day apart from a headache which had to be zapped with paracetemol and a bus running into a scooter which was pushed onto my bike, folding my back wheel in half.Shock Still, no one was hurt and a nice bloke unfolded the wheel for me so I could trundle it the the bike repair shop. What with the biking and latterly pushing the wounded bike to the shop I think my exercise quota was ok for the day. And I had sushi (fish sushi!) for dinner so feel all omegaed up. Wore sunscreen. Drank some water- will top up now. And I bought green high heels in top shop today which fulfils crunchie's new rule.:)

yoyo · 22/03/2006 20:42

Hmm... Bacon sandwich for supper and some ice cream. Muscadet still in fridge. Shall I/can I resist?

Been so good otherwise.

ScummyMummy · 22/03/2006 20:44

Surely a glass or 2 of muscadet couldn't hurt, yoyo?

WideWebWitch · 22/03/2006 20:45

Yoyo, if I can do it, so can you! RESIST! Well done Scummy (sorry about bike but glad you're not hurt) and Moondog and Crunchie and pah at Ms Wong's extreme exercise, v impressive. MI, you mean you'll have leftovers? Hmmm, maybe that's Where I Am Going Wrong...

ScummyMummy - you sound like DH!
WWW - you sound like my conscience.
Shall I flip a coin?

WideWebWitch · 22/03/2006 21:00

Hey, have it if you want to! I can't talk!

motherinferior · 22/03/2006 21:15

Scummy, how horrible for you.

I have realised that part, at least, of my current resemblance to a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig is a recurrence of IBS (will spare you the details of how I worked that out) and that perhaps stuffing myself on fruit is not such a good idea. Or jerusalem artichoke soup Blush

Cannot work out whether tonight's supper (two wholemeal toast with mustard and a bit of grated cheese melted on top, sandwiched together with two slices of organic ham, with a rather lovely (and oily) bowl of chopped cherry tomatoes and chopped marinated (globe) artichoke hearts) puts me in the naughty corner or not.

moondog · 22/03/2006 21:21

No MI,doesn't merit a naughty corner visit at all.
SM,it was sushi (albeit horrid supermarket sushi) then fruit
Sorry about your bike. It could have been worse though.

Have had 8 dried figs and 10 hazelnuts to boot.

bubble99 · 22/03/2006 21:21

Dunno, MI, but it sounds bloomin' lovely!

Must surely be lots of free radical thingies in that little lot??

moondog · 22/03/2006 21:22

Orright bubble??
How's tricks?? Grin Grin Grin

bubble99 · 22/03/2006 21:30

OK, thanks MD. What's this about you being a trim snake-hipped bean then?? When did this happen?? I've even heard mention of pre-pregnancy clothes.

Mid-life crisis?? Wink

moondog · 22/03/2006 21:31

lol
All ok pg wise???

bubble99 · 22/03/2006 21:31

I have a fat laugh. Sad

bubble99 · 22/03/2006 21:35

All OK. Apart from a major bout of acne and some tiredness,I don't feel pregnant. I've insisted on consultant led care and an elective CS, so far so good, my GP is being very supportive.

motherinferior · 22/03/2006 21:36

Oh GOOD.

ButternutSquash · 22/03/2006 21:40

Oooh, I have been quite, quite naughty food-wise this past week or so, and haven't posted for a while either. Could the two be related I wonder?

I have been good with exercising, moisturising, make-up removing etc, but have eaten rather too much of things such as chocolate, ice cream, biscuits etc. I'm OK as long as I don't have any in the house , but I bought some "for dd". She had some too of course, well at least a little taste Blush.

Right, better get back on the wagon then!

Well done everyone else!

ButternutSquash · 22/03/2006 21:41

However, everyone lately has been saying that I look great, so must be doing something right! Grin

monkeytrousers · 22/03/2006 23:03

I just got dome new reading glasses and they're very flattering..from Tesco. Sorry for haunting your feel good thread, I'm in dissertation hell.

moondog · 22/03/2006 23:04

Surprised to see heavyweight (in intellectual sense natch) such as your good self MT,frequenting this frivolous and self indulgent thread.
