frankie76 · 17/08/2012 15:08

Well I am totally new today and I say let's just talk clothes and link and just ignore everyone else who have nothing better to do
Who's with me

I love all the new wine colours this season and purple is my fave colour ever so I intend to milk the trend to the fullest

AlaskaNebraska · 17/08/2012 15:26

Gah slinks in sheepishly

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I did giggle a little bit at it all going tits up honestly, but I took it Too Far.

I'll go now.

girlsofsummer · 17/08/2012 15:33

No way... An apology? This is getting even more surreal Grin!!

AbsofAwesomeness · 17/08/2012 15:36

BAD Alaska

BAD

Emo76 · 17/08/2012 15:36

any last minute ideas for birthday present for DH please - am banned from cufflinks as he is well stocked up - all ideas welcome.

StrikeAPose · 17/08/2012 15:38

amber is the outnet blazer black or navy? On phone and can't make it out.

Big, huge shopping disaster here. Toddler meltdowns x a zillion, plus shopping centre evacuated. I did buy a paddling pool (polishes mummy halo) and a maternity dress from h&m - forbidden black and white stripes, but knee length t-shirt style and v clingy. Less than a tenner too Grin.

AbsofAwesomeness · 17/08/2012 15:39

Wallet?
Watch?
Sunglasses?

StrikeAPose · 17/08/2012 15:40

emo vouchers? (that he might forget about and you can use)

An activity like a flying lesson?

Magazine subscription

Underwear for you Wink

Coffee table book - travel?

Sorry, I don't know your budget or DH

pickledsiblings · 17/08/2012 15:41

Giant family sized hammock Emo?

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2012 15:45

emo magazine subscriptions have been big hits here. As was the iPad.

SaP it describes itself as Anthracite, which I think is Wanky for grey?

Hopefully · 17/08/2012 15:46

meal out?

olympics stamps?

I hate buying for DH, he always buys things he wants, or just doesn't want them.

Hopefully · 17/08/2012 15:47

Hammock is an awesome ideas.

Grin at Wanky for grey.

hf128219 · 17/08/2012 15:47

Mrsndmrs smith hotel vouchers?

jen127 · 17/08/2012 15:51

weekend away for the two of you Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 17/08/2012 15:59

Lordy.

I like clothes, I like handbags, I do not like fitflops. I like the fashion chat and have made friends with people on the A&W thread - proper friends not just internet chat friends and I think that's where its got a bit difficult.

Anyway - I hope you find a way of working things out so you all get to enjoy the fashion and the friendships Smile

And Bloss - when you're back - please pm me details of the lovely eurocamp you've been at - thanks.

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2012 16:00

Actually my DH always wants loads of iTunes vouchers. It's our anniversary soon, so it'll be that or a nice case for his new iPad.

StrikeAPose · 17/08/2012 16:07

I believe I can do wanky grey. Marvellous. Perhaps that should appear on the Farrow and Ball colour chart too, alongside Muted DespairGrin. (my sentiment now as the toddler will NOT nap and I'm with child so no gin).

emo how about a Moro or Locanda cookbook with a homemade voucher inside for a meal for two at said restaurant?

Hopefully · 17/08/2012 16:08

Oooh, good idea SaP.

Mymumsdaughter · 17/08/2012 16:10

I like talking fashion and enjoy looking at links for inspiration. My best buy I think was a yumi dress which I love. I to am saving up for leather leggings possible glad purples / berry colours are in.

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2012 16:15

That's a great idea SaP, shame my DH is more of a fish and chips man. Pleb. Grin

I'm optimistic about the jacket as I love T Alexander Wang stuff. Hopefully it will fit the bill, and not make me look like an early nineties businessman.

AmberNectarine · 17/08/2012 16:16

Am I the only one who is worried about the sweaty leg implications of leather leggings?

alwaysrunninginheels · 17/08/2012 16:18

Defo not alone in that worry amber

suburban · 17/08/2012 16:29

Flying lessons a big hit here Emo. Also even an introductory one counts towards a licence so you can keep buying them for any and every occasion.

Oasis have some really nice coated skinnies for those wary of full on leather/pleather.

Hopefully · 17/08/2012 16:51

I reckon leather less sweaty than pleather. But definitely not a warm weather garment Grin

frankie76 · 17/08/2012 16:53

Hopefully I hear you can help on leather or leather look leggings
I have big calves but am a size 10 - tried oasis and calves too fat :-(.
Don't mind paying - where else can I try?
