Oh, and if anyone's interested, Reine is still posting on her blog from her hols. I loved reading it last night .

Phew! Marking my place!
Thanks Fritzi!
That was getting curiouser and curiouser as they say.
Marsha think you need a nice day out if you can manage it.
Amber one more pair of FFs and you're barred!

Porcine skinnies (pale pink jeans) really thought they would just be a passing fad, but wear them at least once a week.

Good idea Fritzi have booked a baby sitter for tomorrow so can go with dh, much better with him. Just need the sun to shine. An indulgence but I will relish the peace!

Best buy has been a pair of flat tan sandals that I can hardly bear to link to in case I have been wrong all along and they are actually terrible rather than the retro look I've been aiming for!

Ooh, I'm tickled pink to have renamed the thread!

I have to be careful what I wish for. Day 3 at school for DS (Scotland) and it's pouring, so I got to wear my Navy liberty Barbour Kate today for the first time. I wore it with petrol skinnies and a thin black cowl neck jumper and tan ballet flats with hair up in a bun. I should probably have worn boots, but couldn't bring myself to wear hunter wellies with it or wear new boots for the first time in the rain.

frankie, I'm sure there'll be someone on here with similar shaped legs that can give you some advice. If anyone needs advice on Jeans for big bums, JBrand are your friends (have only ever bought in the sales) or TS Jamies for a cheaper alternative.

Have just seen that I've loads of PMs! Can't open except Ollies, but get the gist from the first line.
Think I would refer to that situation as a "reverse trolling"!.

NMP all comers welcome, this is the dawn of a new age

frankie hopefully is the resident authority on leather leggings. Gorgeous bag, well done!

Abs I think that skirt would look fab with a burgundy roll neck and black patent courts.

Thanks for new thred fritzi

Mwah to everyone this morning!

I hate the MN messaging system. My iPad does not seem to allow me to do a "reply all" so please do not think I have been ignoring messages. I have replied to each one but only to original sender....am hung over ladies. This is all too complicated for me at the moment!

I'll second that pickled, J Brand and Jamies good for the ample of arse. Mind you, my last two pairs of Jamie's have ripped at the belt loops, so I'm swearing of 'em.

My best buy ever is a Zara grey shift dress, with a subtle pinstripe and a pleated neckline. It makes me look about half a stone lighter and just flatters my figure so well. It cost me £15 in the sale, but looks much more expensive. I always feel great wearing it.

Frankie, I am, ahem, blessed with the same problem. Nudie jeans are wonderful - long john skinnies. My Wardrobe and Donna Ida stock them. They are about £80, but often go into the sales and are very worth it.

Nan, did you get it in the acid yellow? I love that colour and so wish I could wear it but even with my very limited 'colours' knowledge I can tell it is waaay wrong for me.
