Sansucre will have to check it out, sounds lovely. I rarely go anywhere other than Liberty (when it comes to department stores).

Yummymummyyobe1 · 28/08/2012 20:37

Why am I excellent MarshaBrady? can I have a smiley face and a lollypop please Smile

FritziGreenEyes · 28/08/2012 20:38

I used to work in Bruton St. and Fenwick was my lunchtime pick-me-up on tough days. Have very fond memories of discovering Chantecaille make-up and Princesse TamTam lingerie there.

Ah Bruton St is lovely. I've been east so many times, I need to take a look at Mayfair.

For staying Yum.

Topazandpearl · 28/08/2012 20:48

I have downloaded that book Dona, thank you for the link.
I have cleared the clutter from my wardrobe and for the past week have only worn clothes I feel good in. I am taking the time to really consider what I need /want and will aim for quality over quantity.
I need waterproof boots (for walking the dogs). I would like these but not sure if I can justify them!

sansucre · 28/08/2012 20:51

Fenwicks also has the loveliest powder room too! I love Fenwicks, it's so small and intimate, plus I think whoever has taken over the buying has got it totally spot-on. My only complaint is that there's not masses of stock, but the stock they do have is well thought out, chosen and a lot of the labels are ones that you can't find elsewhere. A true gem.

FritziGreenEyes · 28/08/2012 20:53

marsha It's a beautiful area to work in and I still like to re-visit whenever I'm back.

topaz Well done, keep up the good work!

dona That is so exciting about your ring. I got a cocktail ring from DH for our 10th anniversary and I have worn it lots. Very special present.

Just holding up my hand to say another lover of Fenwicks here. Along with liberty I have always managed to get something lovely in the jewelary section....

Love those coated skinnies on you bloss

yummy love your list.

FritziGreenEyes · 28/08/2012 20:54

Yy to Fenwicks jewellery section ants some lovely Shourouk in there today. Also saw the most amazing Chan Luu maxi skirt, covered in Matt silver sequins. Can see it with a simple silk cami, on one of you Naturals, would be so stunning. For sheer lovely atmos don't think you can beat Libs though, it's like walking into Aladdin's cave!

AmberNectarine · 28/08/2012 21:02

Here is skirt, though if ever there was a case for sacking the stylist, this is it.

trixymalixy · 28/08/2012 21:05

Fritzi, I'm going to do the alternate day diet. I lost half a stone without even noticing after Xmas on it, shame I didn't keep it up....

blossoming · 28/08/2012 21:20

Yy best to try on styles in UK first before doing Shopbop. I'm pretty confident with J Brand, and it's worth it as stuff is delivered in 2 days at £100 less than, say Netaporter.

cheesesarnie · 28/08/2012 21:23

whats the sizing like on shopbop? im a 4 to 6 so would the smallest size be ok?
not that im shopping

DonaAna · 28/08/2012 21:29

Ooh thanks ladies for style CPR and lovely links!
Do you mean that my owl print pencil skirt from 2008 is back in

Too tipsy to write properly - a friend is a champagne enthusiast and she introduced us to bargain-priced quality champagnes; took notes all night

shopafrolic · 28/08/2012 21:36

topaz I can totally recommend Dubarrys. We have two dogs so lots of walking and I've had mine for three years now. They keep your feet really warm and look stylish. Definitely worth the investment.

blossoming · 28/08/2012 21:47

That's off my scale I'm afraid cheese, but reckon a 0 or a 2?

alwaysrunninginheels · 28/08/2012 21:48

topaz another vote for dubarrys. I bought mine during the dreadful Scottish winter where we had 2 foot of snow for months 3 winters ago! Stunned at the price for a flat pair of boots initially but now I think worth every penny. Frequently paddle with the kids in them and am stunned each time to find the waterproof ness is intact. And they keep your feet toasty, don't slip and look pretty ok (for flat shoes)!!! Brilliant! Cost per wear they will come up trumps!

cheesesarnie · 28/08/2012 21:49

thanks. why cant they just do sizes? Grin

FritziGreenEyes · 29/08/2012 07:25

dona Please share the secret re the quality champagnes at reasonable prices!

Cool jeans, Bloss, very you. I love Shopbop. I've ordered a DvF dress which works out £100 cheaper than here. We're being robbed over here.

Yummymummyyobe1, I am very Envy. Gorgeous clothes.

What is the alternate day diet, Trixy?

Please tell all about the bargain champagne, Dona!

Great bag, Amber.

FritziGreenEyes · 29/08/2012 08:05

amber That skirt is to die for but I cannot even think of a single occasion where I could wear it...

trixymalixy · 29/08/2012 09:46

decameron you eat v low calorie on alternate days I think you're supposed to only have 500cals then the next day you eat normally and so on. I think the idea is that by eating normally some days your body doesn't go into starvation mode. I don't normally go as low as 500, more like 700, but I'm quite tall.

Decameron · 29/08/2012 09:57

Ah, I saw a program on that recently. I considered it but am too greedy. I am trying to cut down on carbs. Bread is easy enough to pass up but I love porridge and pasta (though not together Smile).

Does anyone have a Pure Collection code better than the paltry 10% they offered me? I like this in navy.
