Morning all (it's morning on this time zone anyway)...
Woke up when my mother called - DD2 is crying because her mummy isn't there. My heart aches for her

Can't go there so am trying to console myself with commenting here and by trying to learn a few new names.
Shotgun colored denim (at least soft red) is always in fashion in Italy. I have a pair of emerald cigarrette trousers from Zara (love to pair them with a white tuxedo shirt - Always and I have been looking for the perfect white shirt and it's not as simple as it sounds). Have tried a few pairs of colored skinnies but they do not look right on me. Amber is the master of that genre
Yy to colored ankle boots (possible exception - bright red). Have a few navy pairs from last AW and have seen the most delectable pair of burgundy pair of Chelsea boots in the Armani men's collection
Blue I wear my green Mini Gracie with a silver chain strap. Have not worn it in the past month because I'm travelling somewhere very far north (clue: near where Acne comes from) and many people here are very desing-focused and dress in a simpler, more streamlined way. The bright green Zatchel is just right here - will combine it today with beige pointy flats, leather look leggings and my royal blue Marni coat. Will wear the Mini Gracie a lot again in Sept in Rome where it fits in much better.
I wish I had a Mini Gracie in creamy ivory / soft rose beige (Anya Hindmarch people, if you are reading, this is a wish you can fulfill)! The past season Nude was not right for me but I really need a more conservative bag in that size in Rome. Have already considered a Miss Dior (????, AH pricing much more appealing).
I kind of like Mignonnette's take on design - a few of us have read and enjoyed 'Overdressed' and are trying to develop more sustainable and anti-fast fashion ways of thinking. But with a sense of humor - occasional relapses are allowed. For the record, my two-week old boucle jacket from Zara is already falling apart - the threads in the boucle weave. But, I'm very sorry to say, the same is happening to my D&G boucle jacket Actually, the secondary designer diffusion lines (D&G, See by Chloe, RED Valentino etc) are often problematic in terms of quality. Fabrics are often man-made and the quality is average high street.
Ok, this is quickly becoming a really boring essay... Need to get up, eat breakfast with friends and - have a great day lovelies and keep up the good work posting here! (Love to see so many oldtimers here too; please do stay!.)
