What's on your AW wishlist?

I don't think we've already done this, but the weather is miserable today and it's freezing so I'm in the mood to compile my wishlist for autumn/winter. Lost a bit of weight since last year and ebayed all my old stuff so starting pretty much from scratch. After some inspiration really as don't have much on my list so far:

Barbour Kate or Bedale with Liberty print lining
Ankle boots (probably the Topshop pistol-a-likes)
Coloured skinnies - in deep wine/plum and maybe forest green
A silk blouse to go with skinnies (Whistles maybe)
An Alex Monroe necklace
An 'investment' bag - maybe a deer brown grainy Mulberry Lily
Going to knit myself a massive chunky snood, gloves and hat in some nice Rowan Merino
Nail polish in some nice autumny/wintry colours - what's in this year? (Saw a thing on greens in Grazia)

What's on your wishlist?

Well I can strike the Top Shop Mighty boots off my wish-list because I bought them - yay! I ended up with the black in the end; they are much nicer being a nubuck finish and will go with more of the stuff that I wear than the tan.

Anyone planning to order online - size down. The 7s were massive on me, and I ended up in Size 6.

Ooh might have to have a look at the Mightys tomorrow. The Kurt Geiger boots arrived today and they were tiny .

Well, dexter, for the price of the KGs you can get both black and tan Mightys.

They are really nicely-made for £45. I am well pleased. Although I was the oldest person in TopShop by about 15 years.

I went in to look at them today, first time I have been in Topshop in about 10 years! I also felt very old.

Burgundy cords and green skinnies have just arrived and are both fab!

How's the sizing on the cords dexter ? Am a ten with small waist and big bum, was going to order the 28 and diet into them

I went shopping in Printemps with DP yesterday afternoon and can now add to my AW wishlist some plum and/or dark green Houlihans and a bicoloured Marni turtleneck in black/green...

ComeonComeon - I don't think you will need to diet into them, 28 will probably be too big! Uniqlo sizing comes up large and the cords have a bit of stretch in them. Maybe try a 27?

I'm always ready for AW colours by the end of summer.

I would have bought the Houlihans straight away but (a) I had already bought two pairs of trousers last week (b) I like to at least pretend to DP that I think before I buy (he knows it's all a farce really ).

Oh yeah, am playing it cool over the Ash Bowies at the moment and DH mooted buying them for me for our anniversary next month. Took all my restraint not to burst out laughing and point out they will be comfortably ensconced in my wardrobe long before then...
