What's on your AW wishlist?

I don't think we've already done this, but the weather is miserable today and it's freezing so I'm in the mood to compile my wishlist for autumn/winter. Lost a bit of weight since last year and ebayed all my old stuff so starting pretty much from scratch. After some inspiration really as don't have much on my list so far:

Barbour Kate or Bedale with Liberty print lining
Ankle boots (probably the Topshop pistol-a-likes)
Coloured skinnies - in deep wine/plum and maybe forest green
A silk blouse to go with skinnies (Whistles maybe)
An Alex Monroe necklace
An 'investment' bag - maybe a deer brown grainy Mulberry Lily
Going to knit myself a massive chunky snood, gloves and hat in some nice Rowan Merino
Nail polish in some nice autumny/wintry colours - what's in this year? (Saw a thing on greens in Grazia)

Dark green, to coordinate with my green mini Gracie most likely mrsryan, though I do like the purple...

I find Cos sizing pretty normal. I am a 10 and wear a small. They do like a bit of the 'oversized' look though.

I have been on a bit of a spending spree recently, so I'm not sure I should be thinking of wishlists.

I do need some ankle boots, though. My brown chelsea boots are several years old, so a replacement pair is justafiable, surely? I have my eye on Top Shop Mightys in tan.

Definitely fancy some coloured skinnies and A/W colours seem more doable than the really bright summer ones - thinking of winey red and darkish green like the OP. Would also love some trendy ankle boots (Marant/Pistol style) to get me out of my Converse and a silk blouse sounds great.

Actually scrap that, can I just have the whole of the OP's wishlist please :)

Leather skinnies in some not-black colour. Have been lusting after a pair for about five years and am determined that this is the year.

And a winter coat.

That's it for this year I think, those are both going to be mahoosive purchases I think (have you tried to find a pair of decent quality genuine leather trousers thay aren't black for any kind of sensible price?)

COS sizing can be enormous. Wearing right now a shift dress that says Small - I'm 10/12 and wish I had gotten XS...

Oh yes and a peacoat.
And a white/cream angora knit.
Possibly a leather pencil skirt.

Agree, Cos sizing can be v big.

And the website is awful, I think. Clothes look awful. Poorly presented. A marketing disaster? I rarely see anything i like on the site, and yet in the shop, they have some really nice things.

I like the zara stretch leather skinnies but only black but could be good with jumpers and heels and look corset-y which is a bonus!

Oh yes I fancy some leather leggings but will probably get pleather to test the waters.

The Office Marant-alikes are brilliant - super soft suede - worth a look.

Hmm, maybe a no to the Cos bretons then, oversized is not a look that works well on we as waist is best bit really. Yes to cos website not being great.

I like the idea of a leather something for AW but I don't think I could pull off leggings. Like the idea of a skirt though.

What are people planning for nail colours? So far I have a some nudey/non-pink neutrals and some greys, a red and a teal. What others will be nice for AW. And brand recommendations? Mine are all cheapy topshop atm which I like a lot, with essie base and topcoat but happy to spend more.

I like those cords dexter, lovely colour but not skinny enough at the bottom I think which I really need. Please report back if you do find them skinny at the ankle. Lovel the green skinnies, beautiful colour.

Sandy coloured ankle boots. I want creamy not tan, round toe not pointed, block heel not cuban. I have been looking for about 3 seasons now!

I have the same fit in their jeans and they are in-between a straight leg and a skinny, so probably won't be skinny enough but will report back!
