Ok, you all help me choose my clothes, you may as well help choose my car Smile

Do I
a) Go for ice blue - plain with no markings
b) Red with a white roof
or
c) Hold out for a <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=dark+grey+mini+cooper&hl=en&qscrl=1&nord=1&rlz=1T4ADFA_enNL418NL418&biw=1440&bih=681&tbm=isch&tbnid=5Uu9pgUFfPAgGM:&imgrefurl=www.allvehicles.co.uk/recent.htm&docid=hXbubERWqYOHzM&imgurl=www.allvehicles.co.uk/mini_cooper_s_works_015.jpg&w=350&h=246&ei=UQAgUPfhHJCb1AXgwoDoDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=699&vpy=159&dur=343&hovh=188&hovw=268&tx=164&ty=139&sig=114980278205095115268&page=1&tbnh=152&tbnw=213&start=0&ndsp=16&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0,i:76" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">dark grey one

As usual, Im faffing.

Decameron · 06/08/2012 18:43

I prefer the ice blue by far. I love minis.Envy

DonaAna · 06/08/2012 18:51

Ice blue hands down.
By curious coincidence, someone just called about our old metallic green car - a prospective new owner who wanted to know more about it. Trying to persuade DH to go to the dealership to buy it back

AntPants1 · 06/08/2012 19:16

Ice blue ollie !

FritziGreenEyes · 06/08/2012 19:25

ollie Get the ice blue! It fits in perfectly in your summer palette Wink. Mine is grey. If we get bored with our colours, we can swap. I'm sure your boys would go for red with white top!

blossoming · 06/08/2012 19:34

The IT guy at work has the grey Ollie....
Ice blue, no brainer. Gorgeous!

AmberNectarine · 06/08/2012 19:43

Oh yes, ice blue, definitely. Red too generic and grey, while nice, isn't terribly exciting.

Hopefully · 06/08/2012 20:09

Fritzi she does have good skin, doesn't she? Really impressed with all products (again) today, already use a few. Looking forward to getting back to analysis again tomorrow though.

Decam thanks, will look next time I pass a R&B.

Ollie ice blue.

I am appalled by how quickly my body is softening without Shred/Insanity. I weigh the same, but visibly rounder than I was 10-14 days ago Sad. Will be back on it big time after Friday! Really rather depressing though - feel knackered at the end of every day, but am not doing much physical exercise. At least I can run every day this week to keep bloatiness to a minimum.

Portia4 · 06/08/2012 20:25

Ice blue Ollie,it's fab!

FritziGreenEyes · 06/08/2012 20:28

deca Thanks for WC code. Ordered lovely sheets and cushion covers today Smile.

MarshaBrady · 06/08/2012 20:38

Ollie ice blue indeedy.

Bloss that site is great. Lots of great labels. The Maje skirt is troubling me, it looks so short.

Dona that's good to know. Well it would be if mine ever arrives. Blinking John Lewis. Trouble is I can't think of any where else I should get it from otherwise would cancel for being so slow.

GoS love navy and coral together.

AntPants1 · 06/08/2012 21:02

GOS and EMO have PM'd you.

MIM thank you so much for your kind offer of info about breast reductions. I have decided that I know enough and I just don't want to know any more as I don't want to chicken out! Hope you understand.x

pickledsiblings · 06/08/2012 21:39

Gosh, all this talk of ice blue Minis has put me in the mood for this pastel blue Smeg. Has anybody bought a coloured fridge and regretted it?

Another vote for ice blue!

pickledsiblings · 06/08/2012 21:57

SE, meant to say the other day that it is totally natural to enjoy time away from ones offspring Smile. Love the slow preamble that you and Mr Classic Dresser have got going btw.

OllieinOrange · 06/08/2012 22:07

DH much amused by all the lovely mini responses - thank you. You have really inspired me. Will go and have a peek at the ice blue one this week.

Pickled. I saw that exact fridge in the kitchen showroom when looking at islands and gasped out loud at its loveliness. Its gorgeous. I would never tired of it. Speaking of the kitchen showroom, they have revised their quote and its been reduced by a substantial amount - totally umprompted. Making decision to go ahead a bit easier.

dauphin. So lovely to hear from you. Glad you had a lovely holiday - sounds you were close to where we were. Im missing the hot sunny days. House plans sound v exciting.

ants I know Ive said it before, but your jewellery pins are wonderful. You should be a jewellery blogger!

fritzi hope you felt better and made the most of your day.

FritziGreenEyes · 06/08/2012 22:30

ollie Thanks, yes I did. Took a double-dose of paracetamol and a hot shower and went out to town for late afternoon lunch at posh place, followed by cinema and a quick browse in Cos. Oh, and I bought two new pillows for our bed. Smile

AntPants1 · 06/08/2012 22:31

Thanks ollie. I do love shiney things!!!

IceCreamCastles · 07/08/2012 08:03

Morning!
Just popping in to wish my birthday and anniversary buddy pickled a lovely day.

Glad everyone's enjoying the Olympics- I'm loving it. Had fantastic time at the tennis last week-made friends with one of the volunteers and he asked if we would some photos of him during the matches and in return he let us go down to the tunnel and get autographs-got roddick and both Williams sisters!

Took dcs the park too-dd danced around with her flags and enjoyed all the little activities for children, we watched the rowing on big screens (when we got 1st gold medal) and generally soaked up the atmosphere-amazing! And so well organised with all volunteers really friendly. I think we've done ourselves proud as a country.

Glad you're back and had a good holiday dauphin-hope your dad's treatment goes well.

Ice(y) blue mini sounds perfect ollie. Mine was british racing green-I miss it!

Blue-so sorry about your friend's mum-very sad.

I am shattered- ds has leant to roll over but keeps doing it in the night and then getting stuck and waking up crying. Then he wants a feed to get him back to sleep-aghh! Thought I'd struck lucky with a reasonable sleeper this time. Seems the honeymoon is over Grin

Dauphin · 07/08/2012 08:46

Morning. Ah Bloss...thanks for the concern. Been a hell of a time but onwards and upwards. Thanks everyone else too. So kind you lot! When are you on hols Bloss, and where are you going?

Fancy Italy next year, beachy, probably in an apart-hotel, as do still end up tidying up/cleaning in rented houses whilst on hols, which drives DH mad, and me, but I can't help myself. Anyone recommend lovely up market child friendly places in coastal areas?

Whereabouts were you on hols Ollie? Fab area isn't it? Cute car.

Hi Icey....I said all that about DD2. (My P). She was so laid back as a baby and does, er, keep us on our toes now... and she is hilarious! Lovely times for you.

Yes, need low/flat boots too for day Decam- people keep mentioning Hogan boots as being fab for day but can't seem to find anything suitable. Want flat, cool, comfortable.....

Emo76 · 07/08/2012 09:03

HAPPY BIRTHDAY pickles and icey sending you virtual balloons, cake and bubbles.

olly look a the blue, but if you love the grey hold out for it. I love a bit of car chat - we're about to swap our chelsea tractor for a coupe, bit cheaper to run, black with cream interior yes that could be a mistake with a toddler...!!

notyummy · 07/08/2012 09:03

Morning all.

Been struggling to keep up due to hectic social schedule but all good.

Dauphin - great to hear from you and fingers crossed for your dad.

Icey - what a perfect day at the tennis - and great autographs. The session you took the DCs to also sounded fab. Completely agree with you re showcasing the country. Perhaps more success today with triathlon, cycling and dressage...? Pesky work getting in the way of my viewing schedule so will be checking my BBC Olympics app.

Ants - I agree with the admiration of your bling choices - always lovely.

DH has always wanted a massive coloured and highly expensive fridge. Size of kitchen/utlity means we have an average sized Beko fridge freezer so he is not exactly living the dream Hmm.

Have had such a lovely (but busy) few days with the trip to London, night out in Shoreditch, Olympics and then 2 nights camping. Housework and garden have gone to rack and ruin. DH has a day off work tomorrow to look after DD and assures me he will do most of it then. Camping was so much fun, although 2 nights is about right for me Wink. The children had an absolute ball and loved the freedom to roam. I enjoyed lounging around catching up with friends, reading all the papers and watching the sport in the pub! Did manage a lovely run in the sunshine on Sunday. Channelled Mo Farah. The communal showers and loud geese honking from the nearby lake at 0530 are the reasons why camping only works as a short break for me.....

No new purchases here. All DHs birthday presents bought though. Currently wearing navy Jigsaw pencil skirt suit with chambray Zara shirt and grey leopard heels. Summer returns tomorrow apparently.....may need to dig out that long lasting fake tan again!

Oh - and Hopefully, I have indeed been sizzling. I have been using the GA, rather than the SA. I believe the SA has the best results for blemish prone skin. I have been v pleased with the results of the GA. Not miraculous, but noticeable and definitely worth the £15 investment!

notyummy · 07/08/2012 09:05

Oh - and Happy Birthday to Icey and Pickled.

MarshaBrady · 07/08/2012 09:10

Happy birthday Icey and Pickled !!

Is it on the same day?
