Yes, No or Hell No?

I quite a fancy a pair of these.

I'm 28, long time DM wearer, but usually stick to the normal lace-up boots, haven't ventured to their other styles.

I have SHOCKING yet comfortable taste in clothes and footwear (I live in jeans and tunics, Converse and DMs) so whilst I think these boots are great, the rest of the world could be laughing at me.

Oh god yes, they look so comfy and are a fab colour! I'm all about the comfort too so I say go for them. They are lovely Smile

valiumredhead · 20/07/2012 22:47

YES!!!!!!

BUt you will have pages saying you fugly they are but don't listen

yellowraincoat · 20/07/2012 22:48

Not my style but I wouldn't laugh at them. They're ok.

Lottapianos · 20/07/2012 22:50

In fact, I like them so much I'm going to buy a pair in black. So thanks OP! Smile

valiumredhead · 20/07/2012 22:51

I want the brown pair!

bleedingheart · 20/07/2012 22:51

I think they sound very in keeping with your personal style and the colour is lovely.

CatPower · 20/07/2012 22:52

Phew!

I've finally chucked out my last pair of toe-choking Irregular Choice. Maybe now I have decent taste in shoes?

Was ready to type Hell no as I'm a Mum boots girl myself but I actually quite like them.

iliketea · 20/07/2012 22:54

I tried these on, but I found them to be much narrower than normal DMs and struggled to get them on my feet, in case you've not tried them yet. I love DMs, most comfortable shoes ever IMO.

Chubfuddler · 20/07/2012 22:54

God those are fuggly.

ForFoxsGlacierMints · 20/07/2012 22:58

Hell no I'm afraid (for me, anyway)

ThePigOnTheWall · 20/07/2012 22:58

I would not only laugh, but I may point as well

Are you under 24? Or over 85? If the answer to both is negative, it's a resounding "HELL NO!" from me

CatPower · 20/07/2012 23:00

I'm 28, so whilst I'm not sub-24, I'm hardly miles over it.

Hmm.

Do you suggest another pair, PigOnTheWall? I'm not going anywhere near KG for shoes, though. Neon spike hell WAG madness lies beside those doors.

Chubfuddler · 20/07/2012 23:01

Just wear dms

FunnyLittleFrog · 20/07/2012 23:01

They are great - go for it. I have seen cool 6th-formers wearing them and also arty type 40 yr olds. Love 'em.

Lottapianos · 20/07/2012 23:03

Point and laugh eh? Let them, OP - you will be the one smiling with comfy feet Smile Agree with you about Kurt Geiger - WAG shoes mostly, ok if you have a chauffeur Hmm

ThisWeekonFancyPuffin · 20/07/2012 23:07

I LOVE them! Am very Envy at you getting a pair.

Cremolafoam · 20/07/2012 23:08

YesGrin

CatPower · 20/07/2012 23:10

FancyPuffin, I need to try to justify the £85. I was going to buy a Scaramanga bag for uni (going back as a mature student), but thinking comfy boots might be more important.

showtunesgirl · 20/07/2012 23:12

Me likey! Grin

They are lovely. I love boots that look like pasties on the end of your legs.

For myself, I wouldn't do purple because I'm in my late 50s and might turn into that Jenny Joseph woman from the poem.

On the other hand I identify red as the try-hard colour for the middle-aged, and try to avoid it. Melbourne is full of it. What colossal bitch I am.

clayfeet · 21/07/2012 07:30

They are lovely. I've just ordered www.colemansworkwear.com/ProductDetails.aspx?id=1259

MrsHelsBels74 · 21/07/2012 07:33

Hell Yeah...I want some myself now Envy
