We have just come back in from a drink and something to eat with friends. We left the DC home alone with DD in charge (even though she is only 19mths older!). They are in bed, with hot chocolate mugs in sink! No wonder DS likes DD being in charge

I have completed a mahoosive pile if ironing and have collapsed in front of the highlights of rowing. Nearly crying with joy for the lady rowers who got gold! Incredible!!
I am building up to a bath but wondering should I wear my straw sunhat in the bath?

I am on the wrong side of tired and could sleep for a week. We still have no moving date and the summer (ha!) is disappearing fast. I am feeling really sorry for ds - we need resolution so he knows where he is going in September.

Oh BD, what a drain - your DP's had no luck in speeding things up then? And your poor DS, though at least he knows he has options - one of my DS's friends still hasn't got a school for September

BTM it would appear our solicitors completely and utterly dropped the ball by not informing us of a load of queries. Dp ran around sorting them out on Thursday. We think we are now looking at 28th August, but until it is finalised and agreed dp and I just feel we are in limbo. You only have to read the property boards on here to know it can all go horribly wrong at the 12th hour. I foresee some serious manic packing (hopefully :) )

On S&B news I am pissed off at the person who bought the last size 10 in the seasalt dress I wanted :(

Luckily (as it is sold out) yellow is not my colour at all
I now have £125 worth of clothing in my basket The problem is that a) none of it will arrive in time for our hol on Monday (well, do you think it might if I go for express delivery on next working day - we are leaving the house late afternoon) and then they won't be able to deliver it, or it will be stuck at a poor neighbours house for 2 weeks
b) No free delivery and returns if I don't like/it doesn't fit
