I meant congrats for baby not being pretty darkness Hmm !

OllieinOrange · 11/07/2012 15:59

MiM parking in our street is awful too - quite a narrow road so not much space for swinging the car out when parallel parking if that makes sense. DH had rear parking sensors put on my car as I was bumping struggling - not cheap (think it was around 400euros) but money well spent. Makes me far more confident about using smaller spaces. Something to consider?

Lovely sounding day Bloss. Can really see you looking good in the dress.

Agree Amber - DH caved over DS2s name just before he popped out!

notyummy what about one of the P8 dresses you got last year - cant remember details only that one was especially good on you?

OllieinOrange · 11/07/2012 16:02

Reine its weird, two years ago you would not have seen me near a sequin. Now its all that catches my eye!

Just taken DS1s friend home - he was supposed to be staying for a sleepover but clearly v poorly. Just lay on the bed and refused an ice cream. Poor thing hopes DS1 doesnt catch anything whilst we are on hols

MrsCampbellBlack · 11/07/2012 16:03

God - have spent 3 hours cutting grass and removing vole corpses from lawn. I need a gardener but can I find one. But worked out by doing it myself I'd saved nearly £50 which I can justifiably spend on clothes. And my teachers thought I wasn't very good at maths Wink

Did you all see the primark animal skinnies on DMBL40 - looked very good indeed and only £13. May take them to the zoo next week and detour via primark . . .

ReineDeSaba · 11/07/2012 16:11

fingers' crossed ollie for DS1 and sadly thinks of own Pat Butcheresque purchases over last 2 years.

mrscb I am very pleased with myself because I picked up a red version of those jeans a few weeks ago..finally I am ahead of 40bum rather than her copycat!

the girls have just flooded the bathroom, bleep!

notyummy · 11/07/2012 16:15

No jeans Bloss! Bloody military. Tis like stepping back in time. Dh is seen as very relaxed Boss for saying that blazers and ties aren't necessary Hmm

blossoming · 11/07/2012 16:21

Oh. Stumped in that case..
Could you pin some options?

DonaAna · 11/07/2012 16:48

Ok, very happy after a good work day, adding here the quick decodes of MBTI (longer explanations are worth googling)

ISTJ is Inspector
ISTP is Crafter
ESTP is Promoter
ESTJ is Supervisor
ISFJ is Protector
ISFP is Composer
ESFP is Performer
ESFJ is Provider
INFJ is Counselor
INFP is Healer
ENFP is Champion
ENFJ is Teacher
INTJ is Mastermind
INTP is Architect
ENTP is Inventor
ENTJ is Fieldmarshal

Lots of action here, will catch up later.
MrsCB, DDs are 2 and 4.

Hopefully · 11/07/2012 16:49

I am quite Blush at how accurate this ENTJ description is for me. Especially the bad bits. Blush Blush. On the plus side, it means I should be hugely successful at new business Grin

MarshaBrady · 11/07/2012 16:51

NY what have you got in the knee, just above knee length category?

Welcome and congratulations Darkness! I am following you already, I saw the re-pin and must admit I'm not entirely sure who everyone is on here that I am following.

NSG dh is at Farnborough air show tomorrow too.

Dona got to do that test! Will do later on.

DonaAna · 11/07/2012 16:58

Yeah I know Hopefully - we have the same bad bits don't we Grin
But have found understanding them v v useful.
I'm a Fieldmarshal married to a Mastermind
Wave to Marsha

notyummy · 11/07/2012 17:00

Will try and pin some later!

Goodness- I am somewhere between Field Marshal and Supervisor! I guess the 7 years I spent as a military officer didn't quite give me tine to reach that rank Wink. Evidently I need some more people to boss around

I am ISFJ. It's very accurate!

Have just spent a happy half hour making a 'my wardrobe' board on Pinterest. It's only got a few things because I gave most of my clothes away when I lost weight!!

Issimma you are just like my DH!
(he is often unhappy because the universe doesn't follow his logic)
Did not look at the numbers (will leave that to ISTJs) but aren't they supposed to be within dimension?

Will check Kaloo's board. You are happy, you'll get to go shopping! [ grin]

Rather accurate, that Myers-Briggs business Blush.

Thank you all for your support. DH and I are going to go for pudding, coffee and a chat at a nearby eatery this evening - lovely neighbour popping over to babysit.

I have NO idea what to wear to a rain-forecast wedding in Devon on Saturday. Any ideas? Can't steal red dress again as it is the same crowd as was at the last one.

MiM and Blue the jeans sound bloody gorgeous. I may need to make a detour on my way back from new job tomorrow0. Finished the tutoring today and start the new one tomorrow, so this deed needs rewarding in some way, I would imagine. MiM well done on your driving. You'll be cruising in no time; have you come up with a name for your car yet?!

MrsCB dead voles sound vile! Did you slay them with your cutting or were they lurking in the depths?

Russianred · 11/07/2012 18:28

Ollie am thrilled to see you as a fellow provider. Am in good company.

Suburban I am so looking forward to the 28th!

Lol at all the Myers Briggs chat, disconcerting when the day job appears on here! I now have a new insight into each of you Wink - ENTP here. Amber, your type is one of the rarest there is! Most common is ESTJ followed by ENTJ.

Nanny situation not quite resolved but hopefully getting there. Second day into new job and I'm shattered, hence very brief post, but just wanted to poke my head through the door and say hi.

AmberNectarine · 11/07/2012 19:06

We had them done at work. DH is ESTP, which I think makes us deep incompatible!

apuski I always knew I was special Wink

notyummy · 11/07/2012 19:27

Have pinned some dinner party options. Have many more knee length but they are less patterned and I sometimes wear them to work, so don't like using then for leisure. Not sure about the photo quality...,,

OP posts:
blossoming · 11/07/2012 19:35

Are you sure you don't have enough time/money to get this notyummy. I think it would look stunning on you.

notyummy · 11/07/2012 19:58

Bloss- it is gorgeous isn't it?! Alas I have spent£££ already this month on DHs birthday and a combination of Zara and beauty products. I Fi have a longer dress if a similar cut and colour actually, from P8. I may consider it, as it isn't a full maxi on me. Sadly I spilt something oily on it and repeated washes with all sorts of treatment have failed to get completely rid of the stain, which is right at the front. It is probably just about wearable though. Will pin.
