Enjoy the well deserved bubbles red! I'm having a real missing school / a career / a life! day today. Great to think teaching is something one can get back to after a long break (although think mine wil be a 6 year break at least but fingers crossed it won't count against me too much).

Looking forward so much to hearing about the style day ollie and fritzi. Brighton is fabulous.

blue2711 · 31/05/2012 20:17

Shame about the jumper decam. I'm not sure about the fit of some of whistles stuff this year; some of it really hasn't worked on me.

AmberNectarine · 31/05/2012 20:18

Ah, it took so long to get him settled and happy there I don't want to upset the status quo. I can always fall back on my parents if there is something special happening (e.g. Xmas party) I just don't like to take the mickey.

Second ever driving lesson today, have sort of mastered turning corners now...

Hello!

Sorry I've been missing in action, I've been laid up with flu for the past week (and both boys have had it too, so poor DH has been run ragged), but I'm gradually getting back to full strength. Just as well as I'm going to a Jubilee ball on Saturday!

Red, I've already posted on FB, but congratulations again for nailing the job, well done you! Happy to chip in on childcare options, though I think I've passed on most info to you already.

And Fritzi and Ollie, hope the style day is great, I was gutted when I realised it clashed with the Jubilee weekend which meant I couldn't join you. Looking forward to hearing all about it. And the meet up of course!

Sorry not to have caught up properly yet, so hello to everyone else!

Decameron · 31/05/2012 20:49

Apuski, glad you are feeling better. I owe you money, please let me know how much.

Well done, Amber, you'll be nipping up to Westfield in no time.

Blue, have you purchased the bag? :)

Decameron · 31/05/2012 20:50

Me&Em cap sleeve dress owners, what shoes do you wear with it for night time??

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2012 20:52

Oh Blue I'm sure you'll get it back.

Also have just been for a good run, the cooler weather is helping my pace.

Amber get a helping hand (nanny, babysitter) if you feel stuck at home. Definitely, you should.

I know how you feel however. I just now have days to work at home and I absolutely love it!

GeorginaWorsley · 31/05/2012 20:55

Ollie and MiM I have those DP maxis and can thoroughly recommend.

Hopefully · 31/05/2012 21:18

Decam I have worn mine with suede ankle boots (Aggies and Aldo ones), nude M&S heels and sky scraper blue patent peep toes. Has worked with all (IMO).

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2012 21:24

Marsha, love the idea of dressing as a corgi!

DS1 went on a Jubilee parade today - aka his preschool all got dressed up as kings, queens, princesses and knights, walked through the village waving flags, then went to the old people's home and sang songs. He went to sleep tonight singing 'Rule Britannia' on repeat!

Village party/ bbq tomorrow night, ball Saturday night, family visit on Sunday, then village Jubilee fête on Monday. It's all go!

Can not believe what I am going to link to but I bought this gorgeous vest top the other day, first time in shop...it was like a blardy nightclub, are they all like that?

They did have some really pretty tops though and 100% cotton. Loved http://www.hollisterco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=11558&storeId=19659&langId=-1&categoryId=94718&parentCategoryId=&topCategoryId=85265&productId=946233 this but have similar already. Off to read my PM now, that was quick Marsh Smile.

Loved this even.

suburban · 31/05/2012 21:57

Yay, congratulations Red. Hope you are enjoying the bubbles.

SE I read your thread, but was confused because the top you linked to wasn't patterned. Anyway this is v similar in style and colour to your link, but sadly sleeveless.

Sounds great Apuski have a great time at all the events!

Pickled am not surprised the website looks like a night club. Nice tops however.

I am watching The Good Wife. Haven't see it for ages, it's really good.

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2012 22:18

hmmm SE you could have point. Perhaps autumn prints do tend to be large.
