Sorry about the rain/hairdo situation Hopefully.

I am eating G and Bs Mint dark choc as I write Verity.

Bloody cold here. And wet.

Willoughby, of course.

Bad dresses on The Voice too.

Hopefully · 08/05/2012 18:03

More Met Ball pics here. I love red carpet dresses. Especially when they're actually interesting, unlike this year's oscars, which was a complete sartorial wasteland.

Have spent the afternoon with a friend whose 3yo has broken her arm, poor little thing. Had to have surgery and everything Sad. She's incredibly chipper, but her poor mother was a bit traumatised!

MrsCampbellBlack · 08/05/2012 18:30

Noddy - saw Ascending&categoryId=208526&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20 this in tosho and was pretty nice for a caghoul. Friend has a nice navy one from primark which is longer.

MarshaBrady · 08/05/2012 18:39

Flights booked. First holiday (well, one night) without dh etc. To see friends and family. Exciting! Quite out there for me.

Fritzi will wave hello from (sunny) Berlin Smile

Although keep spending on non-clothes related stuff. Looking forward to getting some nice Summer things.

FritziGreenEyes · 08/05/2012 19:51

marsha How exciting! When are you going to be in Berlin?

Portia4 · 08/05/2012 20:32

Evening All!

Off to London tomorrow with a pal for some R&R, can't wait Smile nothing on the agenda except shopping and cocktails!

Think that I'll wear jeans and a blazer with taupe Burberry trench as the weather forecast is appalling, only going for the day, but it's nice to have some time off!

Gosh Rachel Zoe really is petite, another Gynnie fan here, I do like her style.

Nice jacket Mrs CB, must have a look tomorrow.

OllieinOrange · 08/05/2012 21:02

Have a lovely day tomorrow Portia. Lots of rain = lots of shopping time in my book!

Just been browsing the dvf website after the dvf thread and adore this dress in the grey colourway - obviously. Its just very me.
I wish I could find a good seamstress that could run up a copy. My Mum gets all sorts made by hers who can make brilliant copies just by looking a picture and working to body measurements. She is moving out of the UK soon tho and my Mum is like a woman possessed buying material and putting in orders!

Oooh that DVF is nice Ollie! The cardigan is very, very you Decam, really lovely.

MrsCB that's really exciting! Do let me know should you ever need a not-very glamorous assistant. Have you had much joy with the dress agency?

Hope you have a lovely time Portia - what I wouldn't give for a day of cocktails and shopping in London.

DH is getting ready for his outdoor pursuits and intensive English tuition time away, beginning tomorrow. I've never known him to be away during term-time and during the week; will be a real shock to the system.

Have spied this lovely yellow dress which I may wish to add to my new yellow collection.

MarshaBrady · 08/05/2012 21:39

Annie hang in there sausage, it will be worth it. I'm going solo! Just for one night but I'm seeing my little sister and brother plus friends. I'm really looking forward to it!

fritzi will pm you!

I do like that Cos dress. Worth a look in Cos I think.

OllieinOrange · 08/05/2012 21:40

Red That dress is lovely and a good price too. Maybe something on which to spend your first months wages on??? I keep seeing yellow bags over here and thinking of you in yellow!

MarshaBrady · 08/05/2012 21:44

Lovely DvF dress Ollie.

Have fun Portia!

OllieinOrange · 08/05/2012 21:45

Lovely DVF ollie

red glad DD is on the mend. My two have given me many similar scares over the years!

First day back at work today. Ok. Have lots and lots to do but at least I am not going to be bored!

NY thanks for all Dublin research- and also to lovely Irish ladies, verity and portia. For those of us traveling from London...has anyone fond any good flights? I have had a quick look at BA and there seem to be loads at £48. Would be lovely to share the flight with someone. PM me if you are interested from flying from London Heathrow.

MarshaBrady · 08/05/2012 22:03

Smile annie Don't worry I do that too (and have made some clangers).

I know re siblings I forget how much it makes me feel like me to be around my family. Like you, we are very close. We will laugh and laugh. (Actually you may meet one soon!)

The waft is soon too. With the minis. Very cute!

Russianred · 08/05/2012 22:03

Don't Ollie - I actually have a folder of bookmarks entitled 'for when I'm earning'. I think I need to remember I'm a really part-time teacher, not a high-flying exec..!

Annie it will all be worth it, Marsha very right.

Russianred · 08/05/2012 22:05

Oh yes, looking forward to the waft - although have already planned to only bring one of the minis; imagine two will impede my ability to waft.

MarshaBrady · 08/05/2012 22:08

Hehe me too Red. Which one are you bringing?

I'm offloading number 1 and bringing mini number 2. Ds2 is clingier Grin.

Yes mini number 2 for me too! She is more inclined to stay in one place when food is placed in front of her. And nap for a while.
