I have to say though that there isn't imo much out there in the way of reasonably (under fifty quid) priced bags. They all seem strewn with hardware and are pleather!

I ve been looking for a shopper/tote type bag as I always seem to be carrying extra to my handbag (swimgear/ uniform to work/ work papers/ shopping etc)
I d like something nice but not an expensive handbag as it ll probably get a lot of wear so I want something that I wont have to 'mind' like I do the more expensive ones.
Zara do have some nice options - last season they had nice coloured leather shoppers that looked lovely ...
I d really like one of the vanessa bruno type bags I think

Yay!!! My Marcie finally arrived I've been on tenterhooks for the past week hoping I wouldn't miss the delivery as it's such a PITA to go elsewhere to collect.

I was also a bit anxious I'd end up paying duties on it as I've been well and truly walloped in the past. But all was well and it arrived at 0730 this morning.

Won't go all tPF on you but it's v pretty, a good denim blue and I even got a box to store it in!

I'm in love with this at the moment.

Peri I stroked it in Selfridges on Friday. Blue bags are underrated, they go with everything.

I'm also deliriously happy to have a proper box for it. It amazes me that most bags don't come with boxes.

From Dune. I know it isn't leather (eek) but I liked the Smythson/MuiMui pleating effect so gave it a go. Tbh from a distance it looks leather. Today I had a brain wave. I attached the shoulder strap and wore it across my body. It looked quite good. Think I will get a lot more wear out of it now......and it will probably fall apart by the end of the summer, but hey Ho!

Its lovely drywhite. You might grow tired off it in a few months etc so at that price its well worth it. Better than buting a Miu Miu and paying the money....

Just checked out that site - great for bags, but their pricing for clothing is on the optimistic side! I assume the prices are like a 'Buy it Now' and most go for less.
