Sorry about thread title. Hope everyone is back from holidays soon and will find us here.

amber Which JBrands did you get?

bonsoir I tried on those two tops in Cos before Easter and was tempted too. Bought a simple navy dress in Cos and shoes, which are not on the website Hmm. Will return this top. Cos is great at the moment I think.

9 months for me too and I remember being cross that I hadn't made more of my PMT free time, too tired no doubt.

Found out I was pregnant with DD when DS2 was 9 months and still bf. So that's reassured you hasn't it [wink0

AmberNectarine · 17/04/2012 21:23

Cheers guys, I'll sleep easy tonight!

TBF she eats very little solid food, feeds every 3 hours or less and has about one bottle a week so I'm hopefully safe, but probably about time I cashed in that prescription...

Hopefully · 17/04/2012 21:45

Amber nice restful night for you ahead. Maybe time to POAS and go back on the pill! At least you're prepared to take it - I won't go on any kind of hormonal contraceptive ever again. I get fat and lose all desire to ever have sex again (making it highly effective as contraception, of course...)

Meant to say, I got the nice striped DP dress today (I think Amber has it, maybe? Tan with navy stripes, gathering at the waist) for £15!! Was very pleased. It had been put on a 14 hanger, but is a 10, so guess it had been missed by anyone looking for a 10. Also some earrings for £1. Expensive tastes, me.

Did L3 Shred this evening, haven't done it for ages, was quite hard. Pah.

blossoming · 17/04/2012 21:54

rufus, I wouldn't wear that shirt because the colour isn't dark enough and the necktie and cuffs don't work for me. I never look cool or ironic or on trend, just deeply old fashioned and frumpy! Loving the scarf now though and a good price I paid more in White Co! Love Matches, and well done for giving you free delivery! Jealous of your miu miu. Can't decide if I'm saving for one of those or a Balenciaga. Heart and head are in dispute. Have till October to decide.
carciofi, you should get the scarf, it's been ages since you bought a new one Wink

notyummy · 17/04/2012 21:58

I have that stripey dress Hopefully. I do like it (not so keen on how my bottom looks in it if I am entirely honest, but I like the front view enough to make up for it!)

OllieinOrange · 17/04/2012 21:59

Thats a lovely scarf Ants and Bloss.

Enjoy your pottering Ants, fully deserved. When are you getting the new bag? As you know, I love my bike.

Hopefully I like the Davina on you - but guess you need a list of occasions when you would wear it? The heather Me&Em dress is more pink that it appears on the website isn't it? Love the green one.

Just back from a parenting talk for Mums - at a local hotel with a dessert buffet (guess who was at the front of the queue? Smile). Very interesting talk on how to be the Mum you want to be.

They had a giveaway and 2 people got the most lovely large orange handbags - I never win anything Envy

bretonbee · 17/04/2012 22:12

Have been reading in odd snatches on phone and not really having time to post but waves to everyone and glad you all had lovely Easters and holidays. Was at a loose end this evening (is my night off childcare) so after the gym I stopped by a 25% off BR evening - had a cheeky glass of prosecco and bought some not very exciting trousers for work in the summer (if it ever arrives) but not much really grabbed me.

Someone was asking about jersey blazers...I bought a grey one in Uniqlo at the weekend although haven't worn yet. Was looking to replace my grey cardigan that have destroyed in washing machine but ended up with that instead.

Have started shred - woohoo! Am slightly worried about downstairs neighbours with clomping about but figure that they can put up with a few minutes here and there. Also running in earnest as doing the bupa 10k at the end of May so hopefully that will make me bikini ready....although that reminds me, need a new navy blue bikini as my previous one bought whilst bf is now sadly a bit baggy!

Am also definitely searching for holiday maxis...I am considering the MeandEm and also this WC one. Have a feeling the cap sleeve Me and Em might end up in my basket too....possibly the khaki one. Is it work appropriate? Work with a blazer?

Slightly Sad at the shall we have 3 DC talk - would love love to have more DC but sadly with DP (probably should stop calling him that) moving out in a few weeks it seems very unlikely and time is not particularly on my side in that regard (36 in a few weeks). However I do have a wonderful DS and am trying to be content with that and my nephews and godchildren etc. Interesting what Anniemac was saying about WIT and working mothers...I always thought that I would never be a full time working mum (I work 4 days but its pretty full on for those days in order to have the extra day with DS) but life always seems to conspire to take me back to my career. Lucky I do enjoy it and it does give me plenty of Davina et al wearing opportunities Smile

Well, that's that then Bloss, the shirt is a no, no! You're right, it's not a dark enough blue for me either!
I really must try on the Davina, I know it would be ideal for me for work etc
Hope you sleep well tonight Amber, although I've lost count of the amount of times I've had a complete panic and thought I was pregnant with DC4!! This stems from the time I got pregnant with DC3, and didn't realise it till I was almost 10 weeks Blush
I never win anything either Ollie. So unfair.
Agree with Annie Breton, life has a way of surprising you!

Breton sorry things are tough, hope good things are on the horizon.

Olie the heather is a lot more pink - Annie's description of dusky pink is much more accurate.nit also looks like a marl on the website, and it isn't (which is good for me).

NY I'm not even sure I checked out my rear view in it! For £15 I can just avoid turning my back on people Grin

Amber hope you had a nice relaxing night after us all scaring the bejesus out of you yesterday with pregnancy stories!

Went for a run in pouring rain this morning. Not the most fun I've ever had, but made good time.

Not terribly appropriate, givens the rain, but really need to solve my summer shoe situation. Need some sandals and probably some Toms, but just CBA to try on shoes.

AmberNectarine · 18/04/2012 07:30

Well I did sleep, though had variety of scary and vivid dreams, all involving my DH having some sort of health problem. Hope that is symptomatic of worry and not prophetic, as the day after I dreamt SIL was pg again she discovered she was! Will take test today just to put mind at rest.

breton sorry to hear you're feeling blue, hope sunshine is on its way for you.

Interesting sartorial dilemma for you all - what does one wear to a Steps concert? Grin

MidnightinMoscow · 18/04/2012 07:42

Morning.

Amber good luck with POAS today.

It's my first day with the 2 DC's alone. By some miracle I am dressed and have make up on.

It's a hideously wet day here, where is our spring?

Back later, a broken women I suspect. Grin

blue2711 · 18/04/2012 07:59

Morning! Great night with DD, only up once! Still feel shattered though but it's a start.

Have ordered amber's neon pink satchel to try. Went for the large which I'm now worrying may have been the wrong choice.

This cold rainy weather is awful! Keep planning my Majorca wardrobe even though it's weeks away.

I shared your outrage at package-gate bloss. I'd have been furious.

Poor you hopefully. I feel I can barely cope with two most of the time and both of mine seem to be relatively easy. I've always felt a little jealous of the mums with clingy DC as I'm always the mum on my own at groups etc as DS just does his own thing. He often asks to go and stay at his grannies and never seems to miss me at all! But you've made me realise how difficult the opposite would be and I am impressed by how cheerfully you cope. Give yourself more credit: it sounds tough and you're managing brilliantly.

notyummy · 18/04/2012 08:05

Morning.

Good luck for today Amber - and you too MIM albeit for different reasons! Hmm, a Steps concert, eh? Surely the time for what Grazia would call a 'colour pop'....but perhaps all over? Grin

Well done on the run Hopefully - I am not keen on running in the rain (it's the issue with my ipod as much as anything - don't mind wind or ice - just rain!)

Breton - good to hear from you. Sounds like a really difficult time and I hope you are managing to look after yourself. Those maxis you linked to are lovely - although if you are looking for a bargain, I think there is a DP maxi that is quite similar to the WC one [[

P* also do some nice ones in a similar price range to WC [http://www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eight/Dresses/Shareen-Maxi-Dress/201700260 here.]]

Am pleased with my outfit this morning - in my ASOS panther print shirt - not the maternity version though. They have obviously sold out of the normal as I can't find it. PLus Gap curvy charcoal trousers and shoe boots.

notyummy · 18/04/2012 08:07

Phase 8 Maxi here.

blue2711 · 18/04/2012 08:17

Missed the other morning posts. Good luck mim! Sounds like you're off to a flying start. We're all in pyjamas watching peppa pig in bed.

hopefully my admiration has increased still further! Running in the rain?! You are superwoman or mad. I have summer sandal needs too.

Hopefully · 18/04/2012 08:45

Blue let's pretend I'm superwoman even though we know mad is the actual descriptor needed here Grin

Well done Annie!

I need to find my shred. I love our cleaner but she is brilliant at putting random things in random places, and I never see it again. I need it!

I want to shred as well as run. Especially in all this rain. Not as brave as Hopefully. good job by all the exercisers on here, I need to catch up.

I'm on it, finally. I just had to move my focus from the project to mind and body phase Smile
