Sorry about thread title. Hope everyone is back from holidays soon and will find us here.

amber Which JBrands did you get?

bonsoir I tried on those two tops in Cos before Easter and was tempted too. Bought a simple navy dress in Cos and shoes, which are not on the website Hmm. Will return this top. Cos is great at the moment I think.

You really have to try Cos on as clothes can look a bit shapeless on hangers. Haven't bought in CdC for years although I always like the links.

Thank you for the Laura Mercier suggestion, MidnightinMoscow. I don't think I've ever bought anything in Laura Mercier but I shall take a look. I do buy in Bobbi Brown (especially lipstick) but haven't been to MAC for ages, blossoming, and will take a look at both. I'm thinking that I have four 2.5 hour time slots in central Paris next week (DD is on an art course during the Easter break) and I could have my make-up done at Sephora on the Champs-Elysées during that time, more than once... Isn't By Terry über expensive, polyhymnia?

I can understand why Cos doesn't work on all body types. Am still thinking about the tops... I'm also wondering why, when I have absolutely every single last French premium high street brand (Comptoir, Maje, Sandro, BA&SH, Gérard Darel, The Kooples, American Retro, etc etc located on my very own road (the one I take every single day on the school run) I never, ever shop in any of them?

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 10:58

You are very lucky Bonsoir I lived in London for 38 yrs, only since I left I miss my lovely shops. I hate doing returns i.e not getting to good shops so, when my youngest is older I`m going to return more often.

MiM did you get the DP codes to work ? I might have accidently bought some items...

I have to confirm my Mulberry choice this week.. problem is the Copenhagen store seems to have charged alot for my purse and bag. So what should I buy ? My friend got a Green Bayswater but, I`m not that adventourous.

I love decluttering, though more other people houses I get bored of my own.
( loving that channel 4 show get your house in order)

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 10:59

Meant to say earlier, love those boots toastandmarmite, and toast and marmite Grin

slaymill, they had a kids club with indoor games, outdoor games, easter craft making, treasure hunts, that sort of thing. The sort of thing DS wouldn't touch with a bargepole. He may have to go to kids club once or twice in the summer holidays though. Sometimes think he should be a bit more grateful of the quality time he gets with DH in particular on holiday.

Did anyone see this lovely photo of Jessica Alba with her family here?. That's how I wished I looked this easter!

blossoming · 11/04/2012 11:14

And where did she get that massive scarf from???

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 11:39

Mmmm FLE I love orange smells just googled it Instyle award winner too. Need to destress for my hosting this weekend.

I`m trying to be good this week/month one biscuit rule and porridge for breakfast. More salad more fish..

I agree daddies are the best play thing to a boy bloss suffice to say they laid everthing on then.

Love the Jessica Alba Navy scarf bottom picture, great first outfit not as keen on the coral/flare ensemble.

are these the jeans they seem a bit bluer?

blossoming · 11/04/2012 11:49

Good find slaymill. I'd say those jeans are from the bottom photo. Don't like the flares on her either. Too much fabric flapping about! Think she's tiny, no?

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 12:16

Teeny tiny I like the Ralph Lauren Body Bag.

The scarf I am googling she wears alot is the tolani inifinity scarf though not sure that is the one pictured.

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 12:29

another infinity from ash and dans

blossoming · 11/04/2012 12:50

Love that website slaymill. Have you purchased from them before? I am tempted by the raspberry oversized (surprise surprise!)

pickledsiblings · 11/04/2012 12:57

Fritzi, I love the new thread title Grin. Thanks for the mini info - have decided to wait a week or two before making a decision.

Slay, the blue Jessica Alba jeans are JB Blue Bonnets I think - also at MW.

Ollie, love the little note you left for your OH, may be pinching it as we need some more painting done around here Wink.

Bloss, were there many coloured skinnies in your part of Spain? Hotel looks lovely, makes a change to caravanning Smile.

Annie, well done on the Bally snakeskins, worth going over budget by £9 for I'm sure Smile.

Marsha, I can't imagine you running, yoga by a still pond yes, sweaty with hair strewn about, no. You sound excited about it so I'm excited for you - remember to give Hopefully first dibs before you ebay your stuff .

pickledsiblings · 11/04/2012 13:05

Smile for Slay, just so you don't feel left out.

blossoming · 11/04/2012 13:22

Just lost my response to you pickled, but in a nutshell, I loved the way they dressed, in skinnies, coloured ones too, not always cropped. Lots of scarves, vests and biker style jackets like the boden one here. Not much obesity, and fabulous sunglasses. Wiped the floor with the Roman girls from last year, and a different vibe altogether from the Paris girls I saw the year before.

pickledsiblings · 11/04/2012 13:51

Love the style of that biker Bloss. Sounds like you blended right in.

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 14:26

Thank you pickled back at you.

Not used that site bloss I have emailed them to gauge shipping website too basic. I will give you an update. Sound very chic in Spain.

I`m just scouring ebay for sweaty betty, some bargains hopefully thanks.

Buying sisters pressie online too rainy to go out. Origins skin care and spa headband or hand cream, nail polish, crystal file etc ?? what would you prefer ?

Slaymill · 11/04/2012 14:26

:)

FritziGreenEyes · 11/04/2012 14:47

Yes, The Kooples shops on every corner in Paris, with PD's name brandished across the shop windows. Wasn't even remotely tempted to go in.

MrsCampbellBlack · 11/04/2012 16:19

Love love love the thread title!

OCADO20 for 20% off meandem. Also there's a code in Red for kettlewell - hopefully have you ordered? Also Hopefully tried this jacket on today and its very similar to my farhi one but perhaps a better colour for you? Also tres cheap with all the codes around for DP at the moment.

Now also noticed this gorgeous mulberry bag in passing - possible contendor for 40th present . . .

Hopefully · 11/04/2012 16:52

Slay it's great, isn't it? I'm currently watching a dozen bits of boys clothing as I just sorted their drawers and realised they had about five t shirts and two pairs of shorts between them Blush

Typical MrsCB have ordered. Will peruse cousin's copy of Red on the weekend and reorder and return if there's lots I want to keep. Have just ordered the DP jacket in navy and champagne Blush - saw your comment on other thread! Have ordered a few dresses too.

Pickled I suspect that Marsha's workout clothes are approximately eight sizes smaller than mine Grin

Like the Jessica Alba pics, nice and relaxed but stylish.

Bonsoir · 11/04/2012 17:23

I popped to Le Bon Marché while DD was at her acting class this afternoon and, yes, there is Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Nars, Giorgio Armani, By Terry etc in close proximity. All I need to do now is decide which brand I book a makeover with first! I should probably go for Laura Mercier as it's the brand I know least (not at all) and looked good.

Fritzi - my DSSs love The Kooples which is a pretty good reason to stay a long way away! I had a think about why French fashion brands don't appeal to me whereas I buy almost exclusively French fashion for DD. I do think the French have the very best children's clothes (not shoes) but for women's give me Italian high end and Swedish/Spanish low end every day!

blossoming · 11/04/2012 17:28

Anything worth getting in the Boden sale? And extra 10% off with STEN? What happened to that grey jumper ollie?
