So lavender jeans - what do we think?

I am loving this look and have seen similar in new look/topshop - anyone going to try it this spring?

Oh and I'm not 18 or 5ft 10 before anyone says that I need to be to wear them

I got a purple one (with more back exposed) about four years ago, or maybe longer - when Ltd Collection hadn't been around for all that long, anyway - it was a pound in the sale and I have worn it to death.

I got some gold leggings Jan sale once for fancy dress. Have never worn.

I don't like gap jeans - I find they stretch really badly and they're not a great cut on me. But then I don't really like gap generally or rather never buy anything in there.

Gold leggings sound terrifying - what were you going to dress up as? That gold robot thing from Star Wars?

Henry - I tried on the TS Leighs yesterday. The navy were really flattering and I bought them, the rose however looked truly awful. I think as someone posted before, pale demin needs to be a little thicker and may be not as super skinny as the Leighs (unless you have supermodel legs). Hope that helps

Thanks all for feedback on Leighs, all very helpful. Deffo no supermodel legs here so will look for ones with thicker material. Might try the navy leighs though.

I remember seeing these Isabel Marant jeans featured in the ST Style magazine in very early autumn last year and googling like crazy, but absolutely nothing came up. It is only on the back of this thread that I've re-googled, and they now come up.

I definitely prefer the ice pink, but I'm really not sure about the wide leg. They did look amazing on the model in the feature, though - not as wide of leg as they appear here.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but saw loads of different coloured skinnies in Tesco yesterday, from electric blue to pale pink (lots in between), All £!4.

Anyone know if they are any good?I am vv tempted.

Well, not lavender, but jade.....bought a lovely pair of jade skinnies from M&S Indigo today. Fitted beautifully.

And the colour made me feel all spring-like.
