Oh wan you really are having a tough time of it Sad Agree you deserve a lovely easy baby!

vin lovely to see you again

AmberNectarine · 09/12/2011 14:26

Is everyone's baby sleeping through then? Is it just me? Envy

Fleecy · 09/12/2011 14:31

It's not every night - probably about 5 out of 7 and I know she's very young to be doing it so we are very lucky. But annoyingly, this week DS is waking at night (he's 3.8) so we are still having broken nights!

Glad you're keeping busy bloss. Hope you get some peaceful time later on. Cold but sunny here today-hope you've got similar.

WAN- I had bad heartburn from about 34 weeks last time. It finally stopped the minute dd was born. Nothing too bad yet this time but even so I wouldn't be without my rennies.

Ralph lauren polo sport is the smell that reminds me of a hot ex boyfriend.

VerityBrulee · 09/12/2011 16:10

I'm so behind with what's going on, but I just wanted to nip in with a tin of salmon for you bloss. Thinking of you and your family today.

Up to my eyes in boxes, and the pressure's on to sort everyrhing as I've promised to put up the tree this weekend. Dh has promised me a lie in tomorrow when I plan to catch up. I have been busy so will have some links! Love to all Smile

AnInnocentAbroad · 09/12/2011 16:15

Blossoming Thanks - with much love

rufus101 · 09/12/2011 16:16

Thinking of you Bloss, gorgeous photo of DD. She is shining with joy.
Smells, hmm.....like Wan Body Shop white musk, then Poison, and Obsession. Lynx brings back some vivid memories! An old BT used to wear this gorgeous aftershave, which I have only ever seen in duty free. Was tempted to buy DH some once, as I love the smell so much. But that would be so so wrong!
Icey DS2's toilet training at 2, was prompted by him presenting us, in full view of a full restaurant on holiday of a steaming nappy full of poo! He was tt in 2 days flat. Not a bother on him!

redllamayellowllama · 09/12/2011 16:56

Hope you get time to reflect and remember this afternoon/evening Bloss. Lots of love to you.

Lovely Outnet purchases ladies. Quite lovely.

Hope DD feels better soon Reine. You're quite the Christmas whirlwind!

How did it go today Pickled?

Sorry to hear about heartburn WAN, it's a real bugger. Milk always calmed it down for me (although I seem to remember you've gone non-dairy for the pregnancy, so sorry if that's crap advice). I have predicted the gender of both yours and Icey's DC2s. Haven't formed a conclusion for you yet Blue, more info needed.

Was banned from the house again today - playgroup, lunch out, a bit of shopping and a trip to the cafe followed by the park. We're all knackered - DH on his way back with fish and chips. I am boycotting Harvey Nichols after a Pretty Woman moment with a snooty male assistant. I was looking bedraggled, but the was no need.

redllamayellowllama · 09/12/2011 17:05

Ah, yes and in a moment of madness I ordered the 5050s over the phone - they should be arrriving on Monday and need to be perfect. Eek.

blue2711 · 09/12/2011 17:18

I've got terrible heartburn too wan. None last time with DS but this time I've had breathlessness, some dizzy spells and horrible heartburn. Very nice of you to say I sound glam but believe me, I spend all my evenings in pyjama bottoms!

We had a lovely, lovely lunch and I felt fab in the gilet. Glam and cosy: perfect. Not much time for shopping in the end, though, and no OTK boot luck at all. Oh to be near a decent dept store. Did make one very impetuous purchase though this leather biker jacket. I just popped in to see how it looked, hoping it would be awful, and it was great. I know it's not a very sophisticated store to align myself with but TS things always do fit me so well. This is the perfect length on me; would probably be horribly cropped on anyone of normal height. What do you think? Should it go back? Have already promised myself that I will eBay the Ted Baker jacket that I rarely wear as it's just that bit too big for me.

Hope you all have lovely Friday evenings. Your homes all sound so gorgeous and festive. I need to do some decorating this weekend!

ReineDeSaba · 09/12/2011 17:18

Well we braved and survived the school fair..my eye is still twitching and the girls are full of cakepop and e numbers..

Lovely to see you fleecy had been wondering how everything was going..you sound like you are juggling 3 effortlessly though must be tough with DS waking.

amber you will be a shining beacon of style at centreparcs!

we put up our tree last weekend and it looks like it fell into a box of ornaments..blingy kitsch I'd say.

Wan can't help I'm afraid..only curry gave me heartburn with DD1 so I had to go without(and I love it)DD1 still won't touch the stuff Sad

bloss have had you on my mind all day..you are such a classy lady

red that kind of snootiness really irritates me..honestly there is no need!

ReineDeSaba · 09/12/2011 17:19

but very exciting re-5050s!

blue2711 · 09/12/2011 17:19

Good for you, red! So jealous. Can't wait to hear what they're like on.

Also want to know how the interview went, pickled: really well I hope.

ReineDeSaba · 09/12/2011 17:21

blue your link takes us back to the leopard print jeans..clearly on your mind!

blue2711 · 09/12/2011 17:21

Oh, re. the heartburn, if you can't drink milk, just drink loads and loads of water. It really helps me. Chocolate seems to make it worse for me but yet I will not learn and keep gorging on it regardless.

CushieButterfield · 09/12/2011 17:23

(Apuski here, have namechanged) - bloss, just wanted to say I've been thinking about you today, hope you're feeling OK. I completely agree with the others that you are amazing. Sending love.

blue2711 · 09/12/2011 17:23

It's a sign reine! I'll try again this leather jacket

Lovely leather jacket Blue - so classic and gorgeous.

Annie will keep everything crossed for you, it must be hard to deal with those knocks and simultaneously remain optimistic about future opportunities.. Am intrigued by what it is your DH does - you will have to fill me in next Saturday.

AntPants1 · 09/12/2011 17:58

Hello. I am sorry for the poor posting. Work, sick Dcs....

bloss hope today is ok.

WAN am sorry you are having such a hard time. I had terrible heart burn with DS. I don't know if I believe in old wives tales but he was born with a fine head of hair!!!! Gaviston was the only thing that helped.

Red. You are on fire with your 5050s. Can't wait to hear your review when they arrive.

pickled hope today went well. Have everything crossed.

EMO am in awe of your socialising.

Reine my DD has a similar hectic social schedule in the run up to Christmas.

Annie and marsha. I may be able to make the 17th. I am taking DD to the panto in the afternoon but should be able to get away later on. Let me know where you are planning to go (if it is ok for me to join you)

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2011 18:08

Ants yes do come. Would so be so great to see you.

Red aha, how exciting!! So pleased. Eek hope they are wonderful.

Anniemac that's cheeky! How do you get round that, not good at all.

Blue fabulous jacket.

WAN terrible heartburn with no.1 too. Really bad.

Fleecy hi, nice to see you!

Reine I'll let you know about the Preen, you're a Preen xs I imagine.

Ah I did say I would pm places and I haven't. Is it really bad if we go to same place as last time? The cave bit was good, if we can't get that could be tough if no table.

pickledsiblings · 09/12/2011 18:14

Good evening all Smile.

Bloss, your darling daughter is very beautiful and so fair. That photo really has captured something wonderful, hasn't it?

It has just taken me about an hour to read the last two days posts, you guys are going mad Grin.

Marsha, I missed the link to your dress, can you find another? - I'm desperate to see it if it's anything like the really expensive one you linked to.

Lots of lovely links. I think that TS jacket looks good Blue. Your outfit today sounds lovely.

Annie, that's hard for your DH, what a kick in the teeth for him and you. It will all come good in the end I'm sure.

I have been on the receiving end of some good luck today and am now the proud owner of ...a job! Thank you so much for all your good wishes. DH's time will come soon I hope Annie.

MarshaBrady · 09/12/2011 18:19

Fabulous Pickled! Big congratulations! Smile.

blossoming · 09/12/2011 18:20

Thank you all again you lovely lovely people.

I have just worn the Whistles dress out to dinner (yes already!) with dh and dcs. In the leisure centre! But great cafe serving local home made food. So I'm keeping it. As long as I see it as a tunic and wear with skinny ankle length 910s which are now considered jeggings. Really full, and it's still only Waybuloo time!
