No Blush I have alot of hair, though it's all fine. Clips would be handy though...!

Mbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamorning Grin

RIGHT.

BE make-up free day today but have done a BE type facial*. I feel slightly tingly - I don't know if that's as sensitive reaction thingy or just the stuff doing its job....

Today's posting curtailed by a) presence of mother and b) pressing deadline. I mean REALLY don't people realise I have makeup to discuss?! I AM OUTRAGED

STILL can't get my head round pinterest. I tried some pinning yesterday but no joy. ABout to try again and will follow whomever I can find. MBaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

*NOT THAT KIND! Really, your mind is a sewer

Pinot I also have loads of hair too. :) Never figured out whether it was thin but just had masses of it or whether it was thick and just had quite a lot of it. I get it all layered so it isn't so thick. It is thick again now and driving me crazy. The pic of me on Pinterest was after a cut and it was all thin and easy to play with :o

meltedchocolate · 07/10/2011 10:48

Jodie, when you try to pin something you see a little arrow at the top of the box? Click it, it allows you to make a folder to put your pin in, then pin it and it will work :)

JodieHarsh · 07/10/2011 10:58

Hello hello! I AM PINNING LIKE BILLYO! I have installed a pin it button and everything...

One query though: i am getting notifications that people have written on my wall, yet seem not to have a wall Confused

I got one too Jodie but I had to read it on my emails Confused

I am also following three people but it is convinced I am only following two Hmm

alfiemama · 07/10/2011 11:10

Jodie, I have been BE'd. Smile
My sample came this morning (thanks to the kind Mnetter, who put it on the last thread).
I now have one side Lily lolo and one side BE Hmm.
The BE feels kinder (not sure why but Lily lolo feels itchy) on my face and looks more professional IMO.

Just to add with the two samples of Matte light/fairly, they gave me two mini kabuki brushes all for £3.50.

So big big big thank you ladies, especially Jodie. After years of trying to find the perfect foundation to improve one's confidence, I feel I now have. Just hoping it stays put.
Thanks

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:11

Jodie You can always just do a quick swish of Mineral Veil and dab of mascara for that 'not made up' look!

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:24

Ooooooooooooooo I am undecided! Do I go for the Peepo OR the Blush Away which is specifically for redness. Historicaly green concealors I have always found to be utter crap. Don't think there are sample sizes in concealors, are there?

Pinot · 07/10/2011 11:26

Ooh blush away sounds interesting. I'll go check it out. I have hideous memories of green sticks leaving kermit kisses on me as a teen - I'm sure BE/LL won't do that though!

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:32

Hmmmmmm some of the reviews say it's a bit ashy and can look grey BUT the Peepo reviews say you can use it on red scars so it does cover redness it seems...

Where do I find the samples Pinot - I have looked without success Blush

Pinot · 07/10/2011 11:36

I couldn't get a sample of peepo but the full size is £7.29 and will last a year or more I'd say. The delivery is £1.99. I wish I'd bought a separate concelear brush (£5) for the peepo to keep the peepo/bisque separate.

On my screen the peepo is an accurate colour match to the actual pot so assume the blush away is accurate too. It's a very light green - so maybe it would be ashy? Eek sorry that doesn't help. The reviews on Amazon like it though :)

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:38

Oh thanks, will have a look on Amazon! The prices are REALLY good, aren't they? Shock

Pinot · 07/10/2011 11:45

They are amazing prices. It was a few folk on the first thread that recommended them, and on cyb's thread too. The foundation is defo more matte than BE, BE has a teensy sparkle in it. I like both but I think money-wise I'll have to use LL when my BE kit is gone. I feel like at those prices, I can play around and try stuff. Even the brushes are great.

I want a blusher now! And eyeshadow!

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:48

I'm going to get Peepo and see how it works. Also going to get a tester of foundation in Blondie - will report back when it arrives!

Pinot · 07/10/2011 11:53

Ooh yes Blondie is lovely. Probably my fave shade :)

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:55

So I think I am a bit darker than Light in BE - will Blondie be suitable?

Sorry to keep firing questions at you? Grin

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 11:57

Where did that question mark come from?! Blush

Pinot · 07/10/2011 12:00

Hang on I'll go check

Pinot · 07/10/2011 12:07

Ok, I have 3 LL shades - blondie, china doll and candy cane.

Blondie - yellow base
China Doll - yellow base, very pale
Candy Cane - pink base

All 3 of them are lighter than BE Fairly Light, which is lighter than Light.

So, nope don't think Blondie is for you Val

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 12:09

Crikey lighter than Fairly light? That is REALLY light! Grin Thanks for looking, I'll have another look at the samples x

Pinot · 07/10/2011 12:11

I'm a blue-veined ginger haired ghost heh heh :o

alfiemama · 07/10/2011 12:14

In the buff is darker than the light in BE.

Pinot · 07/10/2011 12:14

Are you pink or yellow toned?

For pink - Popsicle?
For yellow - Butterscotch?

alfiemama · 07/10/2011 12:14

Oh and popcorn is more of a beiger shade
