I am pink toned so I need something yellow based to knock out the redness... I think

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 12:20

In the buff looks like it might be ok alfiemama - thanks :)

alfiemama · 07/10/2011 12:23

Oh that's good Valium, only thing I will say is its not that yellow based though, looks more like you would imagine tan.

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 12:37

Oh hmmmmmmm I think I need yellow base........ this is so hard without ordering the lot! which I can't do after buying BBBH

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 12:49

I have ordered Peepo, barely buff, in the buff and a flocked sponge. Had to sit on my hands in order not to order some glosses and shadows! Grin

fannybanjo · 07/10/2011 12:52

Jodie what a lovely lady you are - I received the lipgloss this morning and I am currently sat typing this with gorgeous lips which feel size of a small country! It is gorgeous - thank you! Thanks

By the way, just done a 15 mile run with a sweep of the BE on (cannot even go for a run without a bit of slap on... Hmm) and it is still on! If THAT ain't the ultimate test of it then I don't know what is.... Hmm wonder if BE will sponsor me for a Marathon to wear full face of it and see if it still looks fab at end....

meltedchocolate · 07/10/2011 13:02

Guess what arrived?? :o

My AMAZING mascara. Thanks Jodie! It is really excellent. SO chuffed :o

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 13:03

15 miles???????????

What colour is lip gloss? I am wearing 'rose' - looks gorgeous even if I do say so myself!

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 13:11

Hello gorgeous people. I am getting very excited knowing that Jodie's gifts are arriving. HURRY UP mr postman.

Madam Sounds like you had a rough night. Glad to hear you're still looking BOOOOtiful.

hester invite has been sent. Only this minute got home.

rusmum I'll take note of which colour orange lady uses on me today.

pinot Bad influence - I have 'pinned' peepo so I can remember to buy on payday.

melted I am tres excited about the warmth! My face looked flawless but flat without the warmth. I am crap at doing hair without BBH. GO FOR IT. I still need to use clips with the BBH, I have lots of hair.

Jodie I see you figured out the pinning (ewwwww creepy crawlies!)

alfiemama Welcome to the club!

MmeLindor. · 07/10/2011 13:32

IT IS HERE

that my sheep reference has been taken into MN folklore

Pinot · 07/10/2011 13:42

Baaaaaaaaa to Mme!

Ooh val you bought a flocked sponge. I want Envy Full review please

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 13:42

Mme What did you get?

JodieHarsh · 07/10/2011 13:49

Val I did what you suggested and put a really light natural look on and showed my Mum, who's never worn a dot of makeup in her life and really doesn't like to see 'girls' in heavy makeup. Verdict? "Wow that's really IS amazing!" Grin

Hurrah Alfie - I know just what you mean: I could kick myself for all those years of desperately buying pot after pot of gloop when BE was there all the while....

Am fascinated by all the comparisons of mineral makeups going on .... when my BE runs out (which considering all my free stuff is going to be sometime in 2014 Hmm) I'll give the LL stuff a test.

Fanny and Melted so so glad your stuff arrived - Surayu hopefully yours isn't far behind :) I thought both the lip gloss and the mazzy were amazeballs so glad you like 'em!

Mme we DEMAND the by-now-traditional blow-by-blow account of how it all goes

Sarayu what have you done to me woman?! I keep pinning like a mad woman and squealing when things get re-pinned. Some extra creepy stuff just gone up with you in mind Grin

PS WHAT IS A FLOCKED SPONGE and do I need one?!

OP posts:
Sarayu · 07/10/2011 13:53

I spent hours the first few days.. pin pin pin pin.

MinnieBar · 07/10/2011 13:55

By Jove I think I've got it!

I think I haven't been using enough actually - I've been taking the 'you only need a very small amount' to heart so today I a) tried a bit more and b) buffed for longer after watching amusing-for-the-wrong-reasons videos on YouTube. Plus I didn't use the bisque but used the light colour foundation with the concealer brush AFTER the main foundation and that seems better.

Thanks for the LilyLolo Peepo suggestion Pinot - I've bookmarked it, but I'm loathe to spend yet more right now. Does look a good colour though.

Right, question about BBH. I've recently had an extra layer cut into my hair (or summat) - anyway, point is, it's gone curlier. I knew what to do with BBH for straightish-with-a-bounce length hair, but I'm unsure how to keep the extra curl. Has anyone tried just doing the roots and leaving the rest to go naturally?? I want it to go kind of like this, but without the scary eyes. (Oh and I'm brunette, just to give the marginally more accurate mental image!)

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 13:57

Minnie I think the only way to tell would be to try it.

Pinot · 07/10/2011 14:00

A flocked sponge undoes the cakey-face look if you feck up the application.

I want!

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 14:02

FLOCKED SPONGE Grin

Pinot · 07/10/2011 14:02

Minnie I use my BBH just on the roots sometimes, works great. Or if I'm on day 2 of hair-wash, I use it for my fringe/roots and then put the rest in a hopefully sleek ponytail. Like a glamourous pony, with sleek, shiny fringe. It's not a curling iron, so the strength of results depend on how long you dry your hair for and how you style it afterwards. Tis great.

CAN'T....STOP.........PINNING..........
