OP posts:
TheScarlettPimpernel · 11/11/2011 11:04

Oooo I reckon I can probably find the first thread Grin

I shall have a look in a mo

I am still getting to grips with the bisque. I have to put it on under the foundation and veil or it's too sort of...I don't know...putty coloured. But it does work. I need it at the moment as my complexion is ATROCIOUS - I have lots and lots of little sore spots, and big ones because I have mercilessly picked them

It's not the BE, I think it's my erratic facial care regime. also if I exfoliate or rub it all breaks out. Oh I'm a wreck basically. And rambling now Hmm

ANYWAY - have any of you ever done the C25K programme? I just did my first run Shock. 'Run' is possible not quite the mot juste but you know what I mean Grin

valiumredhead · 11/11/2011 12:01

pimpy I have discovered a new way to apply bisque. Primer - very very light dusting of foundation or mineral veil THEN apply bisuqe, THEN finish off with proper swirl tap buff malarky. Stops the putty look!

valiumredhead · 11/11/2011 12:02

Run? Errrr no Grin

Pinot · 11/11/2011 12:13

ooOoo Val I'll try that.

I really think BE is making me break out :( Shock My skin is just looking shit and the only thing that's different is BE.

I've got some LilyLolo samples so am using them to see if it's the bismuth that is buggering me up.

I will CRY if I hav to stop STB-ing as it's sooooooooo good at coverage and stayinh power.

Pinot · 11/11/2011 12:14

swap the h to a g in stayinh. Ta.

TheScarlettPimpernel · 11/11/2011 12:58

Oh good tip Val, ta...I might have to do a full BE face just to test it...

Oh God. The running(ish). i have to do SOMETHING about my arse and thighs! I swear, if I take a step with my right foot the quivering in my right arse-cheek finally comes to a halt about half an hour later Grin

Pinot Keep the faith old thing. My skin is appalling at the mo and I did wonder if it was BE, but the old feller reminded me I do periodically get massive breakouts and refuse to leave the house sans paper bag - i think it could be all sorts of things (in my case at least): not drinking as much water as I was and too much gin, the change in the weather, using a new facial wash which is definitely too strong, hormoans...

Will be interesting to see if the LL works out for you tho.

Pinot · 11/11/2011 13:00

It just doesn't makey the sensey. All my spots are on my neck/jaw line yet I obviously use the BE all over my old mug.

Gawd I hate zits. Zits are fuckers.

TheScarlettPimpernel · 11/11/2011 13:04

Oh and please to assist with clothings advice?

I have bought dress www.east.co.uk/store/Bagru+Print+Maxi+Dress/BLA-BLACKX/Black/ for a vair VAIR posh dinner and sundry Christmas/NY dos etc. etc. (didn't pay that for it - had big moneyoff code thing).

Now then. It fits so perfectly I nearly cried in the changing room, but one false movement and the entire force of my sagging 34GGs will be unleashed upon the unsuspecting world. I need something to go underneath it BUT: I hate HATE HATE seeing a cheap crappy vest top peeking out of a nice dress. It's all sort of ethnicy so lace wouldn't look quite right, I don't think? And wouldn't something black interfere with the deep black V line against the skin tone?

I think what I want is a very fine nude silk camisole or vest top or full slip that will just cover the necessary but not alter the 'look' of the thing. But all I seem to be able to find are really lacy affairs that won't work with it (?) or are bloody leopard print or somesuch, or THERMAL underwear!

Any ideas? Or would any top underneath ruin the look and I should sew up the V a little bit?

TheScarlettPimpernel · 11/11/2011 13:05

Oh Pinot - pustulation of the jaw and neckline always ALWAYS means hormoans in my case Sad - do you think it might be that??

The thing is there is fuckall you can do about that - I mean one cannot rinse the progesterone from one's system. All right you can, you can go on the Pill or something but let's not get tedious literal all over the place...

TheScarlettPimpernel · 11/11/2011 13:08

trying again...

valiumredhead · 11/11/2011 13:34

TOP TIP FOR MY FELLOW SHEEP - Glamour mag (£2) is doing a free offer this month, a Nails Inc polish worth £11! Shock I have a gorgeous nude colour on but they had lots of different colours so worth a hunt through. I washed up and cleaned the bathroom this morning with no gloves and it hasn't shifted - seriously impresses after being slightly underwhelmed yesterday!

valiumredhead · 11/11/2011 13:38

I wouldn't sew it up pimpy or you will ruin the line of the V but I would try and sew a small modesty vest thing just at the bottom of the V - you would need to be careful what material and colour you use. I def wouldn't wear anything underneath or it will risk looking to obvious. GORGEOUS dress btw!

Pinot · 11/11/2011 14:53

Pimpy - why not try tit tape? less obvious than sewing.

valiumredhead · 11/11/2011 15:03

Oh tit tape - of COURSE!!!!!!! Perfect!

SheepAreSuper · 11/11/2011 15:10

Dress is BEAUTIFUL Scarlett.
I think you'll need something that follows the line of the V, be that a vest/body or a modesty panel. I don't think a bosom button/brooch will work as, like sewing it will distort the V. I have a top that I have the same problem with and end up wearing a deep V (halterneck) bikini top in the same colour over my bra. I'm not so blessed in the boob department though.

C25k is a great way to start running (or wobbling round the streets in my case). I got through to the end of week 5 about a month ago then I went away for my birthday and then my iPhone blew up so for the last two weeks I've been busting a gut on the treadmill in the gym to try and motivate myself to pick up where I left off.
I really like it as you start to notice your progress really quickly.

Thanks for the Glamour tip val.

ggirl · 11/11/2011 18:11

lovely dress scaarlett
just let yer tits hang out if they are in the mood
tit tape good idea but sometimes it sticks to the tit and is loose everywhere else and ends up looking weird

SuePurblybilt · 11/11/2011 18:18

Hello Sheepses. Any advice for a wolef?

I have the Lilylolo tester thingy. I think I like it Grin.
I'm about to order the powder that's the best match, do I also have to order the 'flawless silk' top powder or can I use normal loose powder? I do find I get a bit of a shine towards the end of the day - is there something better I could use?

Jux · 11/11/2011 18:28

What is this tit tape of which you speak? I am sooooooo out of touch.

Pinot · 11/11/2011 19:40

Sue aroooooooooooooo you'd be muchos betteros off using the proper LL powder - it's all designed to work togevver innit. Worth the £, fo'sure. Don't forget feelunique.com has free p&p.

Jux tit tape is double-sided sellotape to stop boobies appearing without invitations.

SuePurblybilt · 11/11/2011 19:42

Is it better though Pinot? Is it?

Pinot · 11/11/2011 19:46

OK, havent acksherly used the LL finishing powder but the BE powder is brilliant and so fine, it's crazy at absorbing my oil slick. And as LL foundation is better (IMO) than BE, I hold out that LL powder would be also. It's just so, so, so much finer than normal loose powder.

And if it's not, I'll eat my hate. Possibly.

Pinot · 11/11/2011 19:47

HAHA @ eat my hate.

Hat.

Also, it makes everythign kind of 'soft focus'. That is A. Good. Thing.

SuePurblybilt · 11/11/2011 20:00

OK. I trust you and your penis

kbaby · 11/11/2011 20:58

Thanks for the colour and concede help. I'm going to town tomorrow so could pop in and get them to try the other shades. The problem is Im rubbish at saying no so get flogged everything else I didn't want to.

In regards to the conceler I normally add the foundation, buff then bisque over that. When u buffed over the bisque around my eyes I ended looking 90.

ggirl · 11/11/2011 21:50

I pat the bisque on under my eyes and on spots etc using the concealor brush, well I use summer bisque.
I think it looks dry immediately after you apply it but when you look about 10 mins later it looks better, maybe it warms or something ???
