Ivory in Avon is quite 'pink' - I have to use the Nude. And I agree the Avon stuff is great and packaging is fantastic, so much better than BE. I am also snobby about make up!

I am wearing Barely Buff today from Lilylollipop and tomorrow I will try In the Buff - LOVING it so far, just need to see how long it stays. Lovely and natural looking and nowhere near as 'cakey' as BE so very good for oily skin. Impressed so far...

ok Q: I am wearing light BE what's equivalent in lilyloo , avon is apprently ivory but I def don't want pink , the BE's yellowness is why it works on me I think as I am covering up pinkness. So is Avon nude same as BE light ??

I've used the avon magifx stuff before and it's fab but I thought you shouldn't use silicone based primer with minerals as it'll make the primer pill ? Is this not true?

I don't know what pilling is, but nothing untoward seems to be happening. Have also used with benefit porefessional which I'm pretty sure is silicon based

right i have both nude and ivory in my Avon shopping basket
the reviews say people are still getting shine which is slightly worrying but at £6 worth a try
also bought everlasting mascara and kabuki brush

pilling is when it makes little rounds balls when you rub it.

The beauty of ordering from Avon is you can return it! I think you will need NUDE tbh if you like the yellowness. Sometimes I mix nude and ivory together depending on how I look that particular day - I SWEAR my face changes colour over night sometimes

I hate the smell of that Avon Magix, it's vile, shame as it's really good stuff!

I have found a brilliant exfoliater which I do think is needed when you're using minerals , cos of the buffing it makes the dry skin bits come lose and thus look powdery.

The only exfoliater I use on my sensitive skin is the Liz Earle on - I use it about once a month when I remember!

The Peepo is fantastic for blueish under eyes but no good for high colouring, so I will stick to the Bisque as that does such a great job on me. I don't use under eye concealor usually but OMG what a difference with Peepo, clearly I DO need to use something

Fuck my skin is itching like mad since I've used BE and gone very lumpy however I'm not using it today and it's still itchy - can that happen? Grrrr my skin usually flawless....

hester I keep wondering if it really looks that good but dp said it does! I am def analysing my skin a lot closer. Didn't realise till yesterday that I have big pores. I am now on the hunt for the perfect primer.

grape I am determined to make BE work for me!

alfiem Orange lady put blemish therapy on me and my spot had virtually gone the next day. It was huge. My skin is normally quite good but get huge break outs when I am due on.

mme I loved the blusher they used on me. It was aubergine. A colour I would not have picked up in store, looked lovely on. I also have the warmth. I personally think you need both. The warmth contours your face but the blush gives you a bit of colour on your cheeks. I feel like the foundation looks a bit flat without the added extras.

Dilly Come payday I am treating myself to one of the cheek/lip/eye kits. Looked at them in store and the colours are lovely.

Madam Have you tried the bisque for coverage?

fanny/ggirl Avon is only £6 at the minute. I just dont know what colour I would go for

hermione I checked out the reviews of the avon primer on amazon. REALLY good. I wish I had some more cash Is it this one? Only £7 at the minute

Just read this 'By the way, I found out that if you look at the veins under your skin on your wrist and they look green, then you have a warm (yellow) undertone. If they look blue, you have a cool (pink) undertone, and if they look bluish green then you have a neutral undertone'

Interesting! I struggled to know what my undertones were. Thought it might be pink and yup, my veins look blue

IMO In the Buff is medium in Lilylolo - but get a tester!

Sarayu I tried the bisque today but it seems to show up as pinky on my skin and stands out.
Am trying the matte today so will see if that's any better if not am going to give LL a go

Are you using a minute amount of Bisque madam? And are you using the BE concealor brush?

Val I'm glad you like the peepo for undereyes. I did just one coat today and it feels better and looks neutral. Loves it.
