CroissantNeuf · 03/07/2011 17:59

The independent dept. store in our town -it appears to have stuff from the 1960s still on the shelves and only caters for the over 70s or those who wear tweed jackets with courderoy elbow patches.

The window display frequently has hats that look the Queen Mothers cast-offs

noddyholder · 03/07/2011 18:00

monsoon or next I would rather go naked

Deaddei · 03/07/2011 18:01

I second Bhs and give you Bank.

vickibee · 03/07/2011 18:01

PEACOCKS or Bon Marche (my Mum Loves BM)

beanlet · 03/07/2011 18:02

definitely BHS then, all ways round. It is a depressing, horrible place to be in, for starters, and I don't think you could possibly avoid dressing like the worst sort of Granny if you could only shop there.

And the toilets actively stink of shit.

I think it would have to be BHS for the kids' clothes, too - or perhaps George at Asda.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 03/07/2011 18:06

Arse.

This to make you cry.

This for the crying models.

midgeismum · 03/07/2011 18:06

It would be REISS. The clothes are over-priced and the material is very poor. They are too arrogant to have an actual 'sale' and they are now totally up themselves because Princess Kate is a customer.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 03/07/2011 18:07

Christ, that skirt.

cybboid · 03/07/2011 18:07

Blimey those models are droopy

OP posts:
TheSmallClanger · 03/07/2011 18:08

American Apparel. I am not a cheerleader, and their sizes are impossible.

cybboid · 03/07/2011 18:08

Oh yeah I hate that shop, and its ads

OP posts:
cybboid · 03/07/2011 18:09

OP posts:
beanlet · 03/07/2011 18:09

Dorothy Perkins. BHS. Most of M&S except underwear. La Senza for underwear.

cybboid · 03/07/2011 18:11
