Will probably go for Sherpa fleece thing for my sone - I buy one a year and he lives in it so definitely worth it on a cost/wear. I quite fancy off-duty parka - looks like a long waxed jacket and good for knocking around in. Agree about prices though - if only I could predict what would be left in the sale.

Millie1 · 27/05/2011 09:57

Oh, lovely bits for little girls! Are there any discounts on the Preview?

fishie · 27/05/2011 10:03

why are the desret boots in black or beige? who wants that? and why has the chelsea boots got blue elastic? am i 6?

doubtless I will be wearing both soon, i cannot resist boden footwear. those roma strides look useful, a good pair of navy leggings is hard to find.

Cremolafoam · 27/05/2011 11:08

OMG I LOve these

RainbowShite · 27/05/2011 11:11

The patent biker boots look like what father Christmas would wear. And 800 quid!? Wtf on?

Cremolafoam · 27/05/2011 11:35

yes but i like the idea of being Mrs F Christmas.

But which clothes? I didn't see anything much worth spending 800 quid on.

dexter73 · 27/05/2011 12:45

But Jajas obviously did!

moragbellingham · 27/05/2011 14:01

Johnnie B L=10 and XL=12 IME. There's always a bit of difference depending on what item of clothing it is.

aquavit · 27/05/2011 14:12

very pleased to see the spotty wool scarf back (am actually wearing one from two years ago today and it is still blardy lovely) as I was very annoyed with myself for not getting it in the grey (have ordered it in peppermint)

also for some reason (free returns I suppose) have ordered the lace up shoe boot things - spenny

What do we think of the casual dress? I just have a feeling the teal coloured one might look rather nice on me, but do I want to spend money on winter clothes now?

hattymattie · 27/05/2011 16:35

Baby - I really like the look of the casual dress - except it looks a bit creased on the model and I just wonder if it's that stiff sort of cotton creases really easily.

herecomesthsun · 27/05/2011 17:52

It is velvet, which I find is usually quite good at not creasing (though obv have not seen the dress)

I have some clothes that I don't wear very often like party clothes. Some clothes I go off but then come back to after a year or 2 (never liked that rule about if you haven't worn it for a year then give it to charity!). I do wear all my clothes but some are definitely worn more than others.

Casual dress ordered - it was Mallard not Teal ( still something to do with ducks ) I really hope it looks as good on me as on the model.

valiumbandwitch · 27/05/2011 18:44

more of the same

valiumbandwitch · 27/05/2011 18:53

some of those patterns on the jersey dresses are so hideous. why can't they do something less gaudy like a black dress that doesn't have an pattern all over it, but maybe a pattern around the sleeves, or up one side of the skirt.

subtle, subtle, subtle.

The patterns of the perfect jersey dress and the wrap dresses are so awful.
