Palazzo pants. Yay or nay?

I covet a pair of palazzo pants, but am slightly concerned that they may go horribly wrong and end up looking like pjamas.

Also, I'm not a fan of buying the 'in' thing.

Any views?

Just an update on the grey Next palazzo pants.... hideous.... well not hideous I guess, the sizing is very small i'm a heffer and the waistband is not at all flattering to bumpy areas!
