No I like the look of it Shock! I can find something wearable on any site I kid ye not!

mittenkitten007 · 12/05/2011 10:29

agree on the overly generous Lands End Canvas trousers! Very annoying as otherwise would be useful for basics.

Is everyone here synching up? Slightly creepy! Period started here as well so have exchanged suicidal thoughts and food cravings for migraine. Grr.

Pagwatch · 12/05/2011 10:31

Noddy, km - step away.

That is how it starts. One no too bad bra. The next thing you know you have a plastic rain cover for your hair neatly tucked in the top of your knickers - just under your armpit

I love the look of it teh more i look.I have been looking for something like that for under things it is long line too so might pull me in a bit. I am going to get it I secretly look forward to the day I buy a pack of 3 dresses and think sod it!

HouseOfBamboo · 12/05/2011 10:52

I love the fact that on the pack of 3 dress they don't even bother displaying what the other two will look like, because they know the people that buy them don't give a shit Grin

"Our offer contains various styles in assorted colours and fabrics which we know you will be more than pleased with. Just send us your size and we will do the rest."

I like the depth of the under-bust band on the bra Blush I'd buy it if they would sort out the too high lacy bits over the bust and straps which will show under pretty much anything except a polo neck.

Swedes, go to Rigby and Peller or Bravissimo. It is worth every (considerable) penny. You will emerge perky and youthful around the bosom.

Blackduck · 12/05/2011 11:03

MI - well thats great for the nork area, but what about the rest?

thenightsky · 12/05/2011 11:04

M&S have a couple of Limited Collection long-line bras. I got one yesterday. Its blue ginghamy kinda thing. Very supportive.

I wish I hadn't clicked on the Chums link. I'm going to get them splashed all over my facebook pages now and every time I open hotmail (how the hell do they do that anyway?)

noddyholder · 12/05/2011 11:05

I think it would look ok on show its a bit camisoley i hope!

mittenkitten007 · 12/05/2011 11:13

You can't go wrong with the Chantelle Tamaris (model 1660) bra. It is molded lace and described as "rigid," which is accurate IMO. Near-sports bra level of support, wide size range and wears very well. Can't find exact model to show you but this looks very similar.

HouseOfBamboo · 12/05/2011 11:15

You've ordered it, haven't you Noddy Shock

noddyholder · 12/05/2011 11:18

Shock at noddy's pensioner bra

Do you need any cc voucher/codes nod?

CointreauVersial · 12/05/2011 12:50

Grin Glad to see Chums has cheered you all up, although a little concerned about the unhealthy level of interest being shown by one or two of you.

I always feel sorry for the models - how far down the tree do you have to fall before you get offered that particular job?

Pagwatch · 12/05/2011 12:57

I was horrid to a fellow hag out and about yesterday.

She pushed in front of me in a queue very rudely.

I tapped her on the shoulder and said
"excuse me, were you aware we are queuing?"

" oh sorry" she said, though clearly not sorry at all " my husband has just grabbed a table for us - I was giving him my bags"

" oh I see. Don't worry. My mum has to do that too"

WhatsWrongWithYou · 12/05/2011 13:14

That's a night time bra, isn't it? Can never get one to fit my bizarre size.
Her's the Tamaris bra - only goes up to DD cup Sad].

I swear by John Lewis for fitting; they always give you a nice tight band and don't stop looking until they find something that really fits.
Have been sold crap by R&P and Bravissimo in the past.

DukesOfTripHazard · 12/05/2011 13:55

Noddy! Your Chums delivery might arrive and spontaneously open in front of your mates tomorrow!

mittenkitten007 · 12/05/2011 14:30

Oh thank you for the link WWWY! Only drawback for me is it's definitely a full cup and comes up quite high toward the straps; I can't wear under some vest tops.

cyb · 12/05/2011 14:45

Hello lovies

moondog · 12/05/2011 14:51

Chums.
That is kinda doggy eh?

Does nayone recall when Misdee used to take pctures of peopel wearing wolf fleeces in shopping arcades (no faces) and post them|?
