Lovely top wideawake. I need to get the 'bloat' under control before I could wear anything like that though. I am cautiously optimistic thanks to the 2 books I bought yesterday. I already avoid sugar, so just wheat, red meat and alcohol and I shall be averyboringpersonindeed there!

That's a very pretty skirt binneadair, I didn't see it. But what happened was, whilst I was leaving my lovely brunch (should have stayed there all day), it started to bucket it down. I did have a brolly but after my haircut what with the wind aswell, I got to White co looking a bit bedraggled. And just picked out what I'd seen in the catalogue.
I was up with the lark this morning to wash my hair. What she's done is cut it all the same length. It was longer in the front before, so the reason I looked like a 'tiny tears' doll yesterday was that it had curled up and looked really short.
Anyway, it's better now.
I am still going for brownie points though. DH has only just got up! He has been very loving and apologetic for my bad experience. I am milking it.

Re the maxi dress, I worked out I have 2 race meetings, one birthday lunch, one 40th party in Belgium, DH's birthday that I could wear it to, weather dependant. And all with different people.
I know I'm a year behind, but what are we wearing on our feet? Wedges I saw yesterday were disappointing. I may wear the sparkly slides from Boden last year, one I've superglued the sparkles back on!

Rip, I doubt it as neither my father nor I have ever been to Scotland and certainly not to Carstairs! It was the last name of a little American girl that I met on holidays and I immediately picked up her accent. He has called me Carstairs ever since.

Emo - Are you going mall shopping? We went to Aventura which is a bit more high st and slightly further out (but on the same long road) than Bal Harbour - which I imagine is rather nice.
If you want to be served by wannabe models with wafting white fabric everywhere definitely go to the Shore Club and eat at Nobu inside!

bloss - have you tried the Boden elastic espadrilles in navy?
