Pleat fronted trousers. I'm pear shaped and have biiiiig thighs and these make them look ginormous. Skinny jeans look beyond ridiculous on me too.

It makes trouser shopping tricky as every other pair seems to be either pleat fronted or skinny. I need boot cut or wide leg!

Panzee · 24/03/2011 11:17

Empire line. The line starts before my boobs have finished. Looks like I have 4.

CherryMonster · 24/03/2011 11:17

hats! i look a right knob in them. not yet found one that suits me.

DarrellRivers · 24/03/2011 11:18

trainers, always look like a golfclub in them

missmiss · 24/03/2011 11:19

Harem pants. That was a disastrous attempt to be hip.

High-waisted trousers.

Mahraih · 24/03/2011 11:19

Hats - I have VERY curly hair. It's like sideshow bob has decide to wear a shower cap.

DuplicitousBitch · 24/03/2011 11:19

i used to not have big thighs but they have sprouted hence my annoyance in zara yesterday. hopefully if i lose more weight they will shrink again

yes even the lithe and beauteous look terrible in harem pants

OP posts:
angelene · 24/03/2011 11:22

Polo necks - short neck

Pastels or white - red hair, pale skin, they always make me look totally washed out

Small patterns - I love bold graphic patterns but small patterns are just too complicated and look crap.

3/4 length anything - let's just say my legs aren't my best feature

DuplicitousBitch · 24/03/2011 11:22

unless they are actually in an harem.

bundle · 24/03/2011 11:22

surely the divine JW can be let off for that though goatee?

Leggings or skinny jeans, tunics, polo necks, shift dresses, any kind of skirt that isn't A line.

I can only wear v necks, bootcut jeans, A line skirts and wrap dresses. I'm losing weight though so hopefully will have a few more options soon. Argh

BlooferLady · 24/03/2011 11:28

I know I'm going about it but JEANS JEANS!!

Also, there is something about me that just shrieks of Times Past. Doesn't matter what I do or wear, I look like a dairy maid. Probably one for whom Thomas Hardy as Dark Plans. Consequently I only really look untwatty in skirts, dresses, wavy hair, old jewellery, all that. Anything else feels a bit sort of uncomfy....

Butterbur · 24/03/2011 11:31

All summer clothes.

I have arms like a hod carrier, and hairy grey legs. My skin doesn't tan, and looks ridiculous with fake tan. There is no bit of my body I'm happy exposing.

I think I'll buy a burkha for the summer.

BlooferLady · 24/03/2011 11:34

Butterbur me too. I have never worn short sleeves in public Shock. I do see worse bingo wings than mine paraded on the streets of London Town, but still, can't bring myself to join them...
