I was almost blinded today.
Boots have a half-price sunglasses offer on if you really have to go past Per Una.

Wow !
Does Mylene know she's been replaced with Demis Roussos ????

monkeysmama · 23/03/2011 14:44

OMG. That really is horrible.

Cicatrice · 23/03/2011 14:44

I know someone who will absolutely love that.

I will forward the link to her. Her DH and DCs will want to kill me, but not to worry.

dexter73 · 23/03/2011 14:45

Wow! Do you think I should get one for my summer hols this year!!? Shock

Hullygully · 23/03/2011 14:46

I've got one of those!

I am a size 24 and now am worried about the Demis Roussos comment. Will I look too big? My neighbour said I looked "mindblowing."

Curiousmama · 23/03/2011 14:47

I like it on her

Ooopsadaisy · 23/03/2011 14:47

I need to lie down in a darkened room and seek spiritual guidance.

That should carry a health warning.

Anyone pregnant or wearing a pacemaker needs to sign a disclaimer and seek their GP's permission to open that link.

Themumsnot · 23/03/2011 14:48

Believe it or not, it actually looks worse in the flesh than on the website as the colours are brighter.
Cicatrice - think carefully, you might have to hang out with her when she's wearing it.
Although at least you wouldn't need a tent if you took her along on a camping holiday.

It's fine, Hully. Just carry a spare pair of shades in your handbag for a friend.

Just imagine breezing into work in that snazzy little number .....

"Oh, yes .... just a little somethng I spotted while out shopping at the weekend........"

Emo76 · 23/03/2011 15:00

that would go really well with the palazzo pants flagged on this board earlier this week ...

monkeysmama · 23/03/2011 15:03

Really Hully? If you like it that's great.

Cicatrice · 23/03/2011 15:06

I don't mind Themumsnot I've been around her in far worse.

And not all my fashion choices whisper "classic style" either.

TheProvincialLady · 23/03/2011 15:07

It reminds me of Endora from Bewitched. Hully, I hope you have got some liquid eyeliner and extra string hold hairspray?

Hullygully · 23/03/2011 15:15

No I haven't. Why do you want me to look silly?

I think it is beautiful, it is like the sea, when you walk it shimmers around you like wavelets. Many people have commented. No one has said I have stringy hair.

TheProvincialLady · 23/03/2011 15:18

Oh I am sorry to have offended you. It was meant to be light hearted rather than piss taking but it obviously didn't sound that way so I am sorry.

It IS quite groovy 60s but that's not a bad thing if you can carry it off (which I can't).

Hullygully · 23/03/2011 15:20

It's not 60's, I just bought it. How can it be 60's?

LessNarkyPuffin · 23/03/2011 15:21

It's a revival look. I think it actually looks better on plus size shapes than in model sizes. I'll bet on you it looks more batwing dress than full on kaftan.

TheProvincialLady · 23/03/2011 15:21

They probably had some old stock they wanted to shift.

polyhymnia · 23/03/2011 15:23

Have been in two large M and S stores recently and just can't think who Per Una are aimed at (please don't say over 50s, as I and I'm sure many others share the general horror at the 'brand').

Hullygully · 23/03/2011 15:23

Great. So now I've got stringy hair and am a plus size with batwings.

Thanks. I was feeling really good about myself until this thread. I managed a quite long walk today and not many biscuits. Might as well finish the packet.

RespectTheDoughnut · 23/03/2011 15:25

Hully Grin Chuck me a biscuit. It's for your own good.

Duna · 23/03/2011 15:25

Ah see, it would drown me as I'm fairly small, but I actually quite like it- I love bright stuff. So hully, if you can pull it off, wear it with pride Smile
