Hi there ladies!

OP posts:

notyummy · 13/03/2011 22:29

It's not out yetABO- just being filmed i think. There is a new one I was eyeing up with 30 (as in minutes) in the title. Cant remember the name.

Last week whilst I was away I was all about the exercise! 3 runs of between 6 and 9 miles each. One Burn Fat Boost Metabolism session, one Billy Blanks Boot camp Workout, and one 60 mins pilates session. Hopefully that might counteract the serious biscuit habit I developed- the ones they left out at coffee breaks were yummy....

AllBuggiedOut · 13/03/2011 22:56

Think it's called "Ripped in 30", but on Amazon looks like region 1 only at the moment.

I am in awe of your exercise notyummy. I really should be doing similar in the month up to my party. Instead I've just eaten pudding number two and am seriously considering having a Bailey's Blush

Have ordered the Tibi just to see. The HH has sold out.

notyummy · 13/03/2011 23:09

Nonsense ABO - I have seen the photographic evidence that your body looks fab! Enjoy the pudding Smile

Emo76 · 14/03/2011 07:29

verity I think your schedule is better than a shred...

notyummy that is a really great dress

at work and baby was up twice in night..fun fun!

assuming there's space I can't wait for the MOAMU but have not made any progress on an outfit. Maybe navy janice with swallow blouse and reiss lace top combined, and some blochs Grin

enjoy your Mon!

pickledsiblings · 14/03/2011 08:00

Zembo, so glad you are able to make MOAM. I will just look out for the pink trench.

Emo76 I'm sure there'll be space for you Smile.

I'm so exited - I love London. Like you Verity I fancy some culture. Usually pop my head around the door of the Impressionists in the NG ( never fails to lift my spirits) and quite like a quick buzz around the Saachi Gallery on the Kings Road.

Need some basics for trip to Turkey so will be seeking Zara and Mango. Any reccommendations for where? Hopefully with Sushi nearby.

Bloss, you are an inspiration.

Have happy Mondays

carciofi · 14/03/2011 08:01

Emo, double espresso for you. Brew

Well done to Wales on the rugby!

NY, that dress is gorgeous on you. Can you remind me where it is from? Might have to add it to the post-pregnancy wardrobe. :)

Verity, sounds like a great itinerary. The first time I went to NY, DH was working and I planned to go to a few museums. I didn't make one!

OWW, glad you got the coat, it is lovely.

Ordered the Gracie bag last night. :)

MrsJuan, which bag have you chosen for your birthday present?

OK, better wake DD (she woke at 3am and was calling for DH who was snoring away and left me to get up to her Hmm). DH is working from home today so I won't get to use the laptop but will look forward to lots of lovely links tonight.

carciofi · 14/03/2011 08:02

Too many smileys, sorry.

Emo76 · 14/03/2011 08:33

pickled there is a Zara in Duke of York Square beside the Saatchi gallery. Also a Trilogy jeans shop and new Banana Republic store!

carciofi great news re bag!

notyummy · 14/03/2011 08:36

Carciofi - Dress is from Oasis. Lots of good stuff there at the moment IMHO.

Could not sleep last night so am mainlining coffee.

blossoming · 14/03/2011 08:37

Wow carciofi, the Gracie bag, before 9am!!

pickled, thank you!

Hope you can make it emo.

I am in a bit of a pickle to be honest! My credit card is showing really high, but I have so many returns to be processed, plus petrol costs from November to arrive and wages.. I think, if I can make another £300, then I'll clear it. So, ds off school, my mission will be to find £300 worth of stuff to ebay. First off, black suede 'pumps' bnib, R&B loopy loos!

CHOOGIRL · 14/03/2011 09:11

Morning Ladies

Will catch up properly later, as I have been on a bit of a spreee. In the meantime can anyone offer any help here? The hanging in the bathroom whilst I have a shower doesn't always give the desired effect.

CHOOGIRL · 14/03/2011 09:15

Also free shipping on NAP this week. Bloss make room on that credit card.

DolceeBanana · 14/03/2011 10:11

Hiya!

Really busy weekend with 3 childrens birthday parties! So, not time to shop/post.

Oh Bloss, I so want to meet you too...you are my stripey pal...and yes we do seem to like the same sorts of things, but dh in Sweden and back Friday night so no chance of coming to meet up. Hope DS is better...poor mite. DD has two huge bruises from toppling chairs over...she's such a monkey at the moment and runs almost everywhere. How's your little one?

Will have to make sure I can come to next one, or maybe a Wales/West country meet up soon...?

Carciofi - bag lovely! You deserve a lovely treat like that...

Sunshine here...hoping it lasts....

blossoming · 14/03/2011 10:14

Sorry can't help you there choo. Are you staying over for moamu?
I wish I could delete NAP from my Pc. They might delete me I suppose with the amount I send back!
I bought that splendid fuchsia/purple top. Not a keeper.

DolceeBanana · 14/03/2011 10:15

Oh, and Red. Being a Bristol girl myself, I would definitely recommend the areas you have cited as possibilities. Go for the best you can afford, in the best location every time. Henleaze is also nice. Failing that, Almondsbury, north of the city has some nice villagey surrounds.

blossoming · 14/03/2011 10:18

I could do a Wales/West country meet up definitely dolcee.

My dd is a monkey too. Gorgeous stage but as a charming cashier in the co-op told me the other day: eyes in your arse!

DolceeBanana · 14/03/2011 10:23

Let's arrange something soon then. Maybe Plum and TraceyB too....

I bet you weren't in Waitrose Grin

Zembo · 14/03/2011 12:34

OOOhhhhh Carciofi well done on ordering the bag!!! Will you bring her to MOAMU? Would love a stroke Grin

Pickled I'm not as organised as Bloss so haven't planned what I'm wearing for the non-eve bits of MOAMU so don't know if my new trench will feature or not yet.. What are you wearing?

Dolcee such a shame you can't make it Sad was looking forward to meeting you. Also I'm really not that tiny, vanity sizing is everywhere - I've got 3 coats in a size 4 now and there's no way I'm a 4! My DH is in Bristol today checking out a potential job.

Bloss do you have to pay for your MAC makeovers? In ours you have to pay a £25 booking fee which is then redeemable against purchases. I'm a bit scared of MAC though - I always look clown-like after they've been to work on me Grin. I honestly think, half the time I look worse with slap on!

blossoming · 14/03/2011 13:02

Yes zembo, I've paid £25 already when I booked. I have a photo from last month's In Style, it's from backstage at Cavalli (I think), and it was MAC artists, and they did rock chick smoky eye. That's all I want. I can do my own lipstick!
It is a bit scary though, although I've stood there mesmerised at the makeovers in Selfridges before now!

I have been thwarted in my ebay attempts while dd sleeps as the battery went on my camera. There is a mountain of stuff on my bed. I hope I get some photos done today.

notyummy, the Ripped in 30 dvd looks good. Hope it comes over here soon.

DolceeBanana · 14/03/2011 13:42

Oh good luck Mr Zembo with the int!!! Bristol is a lovely city. Fingers crossed! You are so (teeny)! Oh, yes you are.

The MOAMU sounds like it should be a fab one.

Have had lovely morning with the girls; sunny walk; made fish pie for after swimming, and pegged washing on the line...all white and billowing. Sad, but strangely comforting. Feeling very virtuous......Grin

redllamayellowllama · 14/03/2011 13:47

Thanks Dolcee, I hadn't realised that you were in Bristol (sorry if you've mentioned it before!). We had thought our money would go a bit further than it looks like it will. Typically, we seem to be keen on the pricier areas. I think we'll end up getting somewhere that needs a fair bit doing to it.

blossoming · 14/03/2011 14:00

I have my washing out too dolcee!

Zembo · 14/03/2011 14:09

Dolcee my DH hasn't got his interview today, just a pre-interview visit. Not feeling so teeny at the moment after scoffing a large bowl of pasta puttanesca Grin

MrsCB are these the jeans you bought? I tried them on in the 30inch leg, but think I need the 32 (which are sold out on-line). What length did you go for? I really like the seventies wash and they're v flattering
