I've had a relapse! Went to Zumba this evening and it was a hip hop special so v, v loud banging music and lots of new moves to learn (I sound old don't I?!).

Ohhh yes, lots of fashion highlights from the meet up. I keep remembering bits like Marsha's belt and MrsJ's bee necklace!

After all the fuss I made about getting it, I think I may have to ebay my Warehouse dress - I hadn't tried it on since January and it was too big! Part of me thinks yey and part thinks oh bugger!

Fritzi - was it the marine houlis we all tried on? (funniest moment of the WE for me: Fritzi, Kildare and I all appearing from changing rooms at the same time wearing navy hoolis and navy and white striped bretons - we looked like a girl band!). I like both your links and really pleased you got some jeans from Selfridges - you really have amazing legs for wearing them!
ABO I really like the Tibi on you especially the colour and think its a good dress to have in your wardrobe but Millie is has more of a wow factor given its design. I can't remember what you need it for - special bday? Shame the Millie doesnt come in the green of the Tibi Smile
Bloss love the colour of the hat - what have you decided?

FritziGreenEyes · 21/03/2011 21:01

ollie Yes, it was marine we all tried on. Was very funny. The girls in the shop probably thought we belong to weird Breton top cult Grin. I admire you for Zumba-ing tonight. I am still exhausted and feel old too, but happy!

ReineDeSaba · 21/03/2011 21:05

Dd2 has had exploding nappies all day too..unfortunately this has not stopped me from eating everything in sight..choc chip cookies/m and ms/m and s blondie..need to get back on track or a will have to wear a muumuu to next meet up.

Being a shortie/totterer I was lagging behind leaving MOAM and have to say seeing everyone congregating in their finery en masse at the cab stop was a very glamorous sight.

I loved your dress too looby ..the darn low lighting meant I may have been staring scarily trying to get a better look.I think I was one of the haters when you linked way back when and you definitely wipe the floor with the asos model wearing it.

Fingers crossed for more the interview marsha

OllieWollieWoo · 21/03/2011 21:05

Exhausted - did you buy the navy ones on the end? I really like them on you - if you don't mind me asking what size are you and how tall! I am obsessing over getting some (Next ones are nice but not the real thing!). We had a chat in Triology about sizing (shop assistants said we should size down) and leg length - they were full length on me but looked better slightly cropped I thought.

MarshaBrady · 21/03/2011 21:10

Thanks Ollie, not to bad for the outnet! Smile

I am very tired too now! Intense two days.

My highlights were Reine's shoes which were stunning (very much like Reine who is stunning Grin), having lovely chats with the lovely looking Pickled, Ltec, Looby, Everything and everyone else. Memory is fading!

MrsJ looked incredible and is gorgeous and kind Grin

I really do want to do it again, and wear heels next time. Chat to more of you. We walked off to the hotel thinking you were all behind us and turned around and we were alone! (won't mention how lost we got) Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/03/2011 21:11

too!

OllieWollieWoo · 21/03/2011 21:13

You got lost Marsha?!!! Oh no! Who was with you? The end of the night was a bit of a blur - out of bar, into cab, arrive at hotel, collapsed into bed, fell asleep mid conversation with Fritzi!

Oh yes- meant to say sorry to alll those I didn't say goodbye to properly after tottering off slightly tipsily towards the hotel. Sorry Blush.

MarshaBrady · 21/03/2011 21:18

It was rather funny but we were so engrossed in conversation that we walked in a straight line for about 5 minutes and completely lost sense of direction and then had the most intense what was it 1/2 hour trying to find the hotel. I am laughing now as we (pickled/mrsj and me) walked in circles but strode onwards thinking we didn't need a cab. I couldn't wear the same shoes to interview as feet are a pile of blisters!!

It was very funny.

NY did you walk to the hotel?

Thanks for the superb organisation btw

OllieWollieWoo · 21/03/2011 21:22

Hee Hee Marsha - thats just the sort of think I do but thankfully I was steered in the right direction by the others! I thought you 3 had just got the first cab! You can see why those roll up ballet pumps are good for nights out like that!

notyummy · 21/03/2011 21:22

Didn't walk. Found a cab with a few others!

Emo76 · 21/03/2011 21:22

abo LOVE the Milly, love it!

VerityBrulee · 21/03/2011 21:41

I can't believe there are no photos Shock Well, we'll just have to have a re-run with everyone wearing the same outfits. Maybe there are some paparazzi photos, it sounds like you all made an impact when you were leaving Smile

Sorry about all the poorly babies, there seem to be a lot of bugs lurking around at the moment.

Carciofi wouldn't it be fab to live by the sea, I hope you get it. Lots of builders avaiable at the moment if it's a fixer-upper!

Bloss love the hat, just my colour!

I had a lovely day, such a novelty to be in the shops on a weekday without worrying about being on time to do the school run. Wore myself out but all in a good cause! I got a lovely dress in Massimo Dutti, why don't they have a proper website so I can link? It's navy chiffon with tiny dots, very pretty. Also got a silver sparkly jumper in COS, I do love a bit of sparkle Smile Saw this pretty blouse in Mango, think it would be good with khaki houlis. Actually lots of nice things in Mango, this dress and this, I love dresses with pockets.

Lots of hasbeen-a-likes around also, I want a pink pair and found office and aldo have pinkish versions.

That's probably enough links for one night.

ABO I love the Milly, I think you could def dress it up for night.

ABO, I love the Milly on you.

Fritzi, Houlihans are cheaper at Revolve, even with customs charges.

Verity, sounds like you had a lovely day. The potential problem with the house is that it may be too close to the sea and there has been flooding in the past on that road. However, my dad is going to view it and taking a builder friend to see what he thinks.

Emo76 · 22/03/2011 08:28

Am at work and have just described a stock as "bargainous".

Am wearing my Reiss Minna cream lace top too.

This board is an excellent influence on me!

notyummy · 22/03/2011 08:34

Glorious day here. Am wearing spring-like ditsy print short sleeved top, with blue wool jigsaw jacket over and black trousers.

Have to nip out for a meeting shortly and think I may have to try and pop down to Bridlesmith Gate (that reference is for Zembo!) and spend my vouchers in Jigsaw and Hobbs that are burning a hole in my bag.

Morning all,-name change as mentioned at MOAMU- beautiful Spring morning hereSmile

ABO I really like the Milly dress on you and think that it would possibley be more versatile and require less 'fixing' than the drapey one.

Verity Glad to hear that you had such a lovely day yesterday, love that Mango dress, I think it could be dressed up or down!

Hope that everyone is getting a little bit of sunshineSmile

Zembo · 22/03/2011 10:42

Portia I need a clue, missed the name change mentioned at MOAMU!

It is indeed a beautiful day here. NY Bridlesmith Gate in the sunshine, armed with vouchers, sounds like bliss!

I'm planning a London weekend with DH and my two DC. Can anyone recommend somewhere central to stay? Haven't looked into it yet so being a bit lazy here!

Looby thanks for the age compliment, must start slapping on the sunscreen to try and limit further ageing!
