Hi there ladies!

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 20/03/2011 10:56

Yes good idea, think long term

Yes definitely to meeting! Hopefully we can do next one sooner...

blossoming · 20/03/2011 12:05

Morning all. I'm on the train heading home. Have met some very lovely people and have had a great time.
Let me tell you, the Burberry trench that zembo and choo have is gorgeous and more of a raspberry than a fuchsia. Really gorgeous.
We had our Breton breakfast! Quite a few of us partook, and quite a few lurkers, it seemed at other tables!
Poor ollie must have had a dodgy drink. Hope you feel better soon and make it to trilogy. fritzi last seen (stylishly) heading upstairs with toast!
Sorry more of you couldn't make it. Hopefully next time!
May have to have a quiet doze..zz

Emo76 · 20/03/2011 12:23

oh no ollie I hope it wasn't the Woo Woo cocktail...

had a breton breakfast here at home

plenty of fantastic outfits last night, it was great to meet so many lovely people. Quite life affirming! Also inspiring me to get shredding.

Tempted as I am by gorge trenches I have instead just been to homebase and glamorous purchases include a plant pot and mouse traps, aaaaaaah fashion!

ApuskiDusky · 20/03/2011 12:27

Morning! I'm just heading home as well, having had a great time meeting all these lovely and stylish women (with great shoes!). And I have enjoyed my lie in with the papers as well! Thanks again NY for all your organisation.

DS2 unfortunately wasn't well last night so I am returning to the front line. I think I'll be on solo duty today and tonight by way of penance!

Hope the travellers have a good journey home. And now the MOAM has passed I'm switching attention to SS11!

Morning all! Also on the train home after having a fabulous time. Gorgeous people and great company. The lighting was certainly very dim but I managed to see most people in daylight and can confirm gorgeousness!

Apuski looks no more than about 24 Envy
OWW sorry you're feeling worse for wear this morning. Hope you're glowing again soon! ( she has lovely luminous skin)
Vin so sorry didn't get to meet you. You sound so trapped Sad
I suddenly find myself coveting a Chanel clutch after seeing Bloss's last night. Oh dear.
Hope all sick people are feeling better today.
I think I managed to chat to everybody (made sure just in case I don't make another meet up!)
A summer meet sound great though - NY fancy another project Grin

Zembo · 20/03/2011 13:05

Oh and Fleecy your eyelashes are ace. I'm going to investigate getting it done. What do I need to ask for and how long do they last?

LTEC it was so good to finally meet you and you are sooooo tiny!

Looby you have an amazing figure. Can't remember you linking to that dress you wore, but you looked stunning.

CHOO didn't get to chat to you enough, you are lovely.

Bunny is doing so well!!! Beautiful, funny and love the accent!

Fleecy · 20/03/2011 16:10

I had eyelash inserts - they last around 3 wks without maintenance, longer if you get them 'topped up'.

It was so lovely to see so many of you yesterday - I have just got home, had big cuddles with the DC and logged on quickly to catch up!

Everyone looked fab - very stylish and lovely - and was very friendly.

roary, verity and Master apuski - hope you're all well.

choo I saw we both had Mulberry clutches but I didn't realise at the time that we were both in VW dresses. Does that mean I have to get a Burberry too? Grin

emo glad you got home quickly and didn't have to wait too long for a taxi.

Yes looby I was wondering where you got that dress - gorgeous.

OWW hope you're feeling better. Were you wearing the Laura Mercier last night? I might have to get me some then!

fritzi and ollie and kildare how was Trilogy?

OllieWollieWoo · 20/03/2011 16:28

Hello! On train to gatwick feeling a zillion times better than i did this morning!!!! Cant believe i missed out on the yummy looking breakfast! And so sorry didnt get to say goodbye to you all! I dont what happened as i had a total of 2 and a half drinks last night! Just felt really sick and clammy. Fritzi was wonderful about looking after me- tea and toast in bed!
Triology was a nice experience but we all came way empty handed! I tried 15 pairs on and nothing really suited me apart from the navy holians but they were 245pounds so im going to track some cheaper online! Fritzi looked great in everything, she has the legs for jeans! The shop assistants commented on us all wearing bretons!!!!
So lovely to meet you all last night, it was like meeting up with old friends! Notyummy- didnt get much of a chance to talk to you but thank u so much for organising it all, you did a fab job.

Sounds like you all had a great time, brilliant Grin

I slept until 12 today Shock and feel human again, phew. Will definately make the next MU. Am wearing a breton, so joining in in spirt!

Vin, sorry you weren't able to get out Sad

Exhausted do let me know if you are coming to Dublin, BTs is nice, tiny in comparison to Selfridges but still a good selection and very doable in a hour or two. There are a couple of nice boutiques in the area too that you might like. Sadly a lot of the quirkier shops have closed down in the last year or so as the economy is really in the doldrums.

Carciofi hope the result yesterday cheered up your dh.

So, the Burberry is raspberry? My favourite colour

vinestein · 20/03/2011 17:27

Ah I'm so happy you had a lovely time. I really should have gone- dim lighting would have been perfect for me Grin Grin Grin I'm sorry I let you down, I really will be there next time (please have a next time!)
P and I have been 'talking' ehem, and he has decided he wants to go to L'Pool to renovate his gigantic scary adams family house- I nodded in agreement. I think this time he has to mean it, things are dire- I feel like Cinderella chained here doing the ironing and cleaning the floor (pfft) when I should have gone out with you lovely lot!!

Fleecy I've been thinking of offsetting the nose-weirdness with some fabulous eyelashes- where did you get them done? I see my local shavata brow bar does them but not sure if I'd look too 'done' to get away with it for work

Have safe journeys home everyone! [sniff sniff]

KILDARE4 · 20/03/2011 17:54

Just landed in Dublin , it was so lovely to meet everyone and now be able to put a face on the namesSmile. Sorry that everyone didn't make it. Thanks again NY for all the organisation .

blossoming · 20/03/2011 18:46

Glad you're feeling better ollie. What a shame about Trilogy. Kildare was rocking her houlihans yesterday: all about pocket placement apparently! I agree that fritzi has great legs for jeans!
I shall be joining you in locking up my credit card verity! Glad you're feeling better.
Thanks for organizing everything notyummy. Amazing figure. Time to up my game and double shred I think!

blossoming · 20/03/2011 19:19

By the way notyummy, this is the halter neck ruched padded bikini top I mentioned.

herecomesthsun · 20/03/2011 19:45

KILDARE4 · 20/03/2011 19:47

ReineDeSaba · 20/03/2011 20:42

Thank you all the lovely ladies of A and W who made last night such a fun evening but especially notyummy for all your hard work organising us all.

Everyone looked completely fabulous but nice warm hearts were included!

everything the Bec dress is amazing,I can really picture you in it. bloss's shredding really did it justice though I don't think I'll ever forget the image of bloss being handed a beer in a brown paper bag(part of the bars ambience Grin ) while clutching the gorgeous Chanel!

Sorry,I didn't get to speak to everyone in depth especially kildare and fritzi who really went the extra mile to get there but hoping everyone as excited as me about the possibility of MOAM the sequel.

My cabbie(thanks for letting me hijack you choo and bunny was intrigued by the big crowd of gorgeous ladies and I had to fess up we 'met' on the internet. choo I have found you on facebook and meant to add message with my friend request but pressed send too fast.loved your outfit..I heart sparkle Smile

CHOOGIRL · 20/03/2011 21:00

Thanks for organising NotYummy it was a fantastic evening and I wish we could have stayed longer. Like everything I didn't get a chance to speak to everyone in depth but it was so nice to meet you all.

I also enjoyed stroking your Chanel Bloss and the Bec looked amazing on. I may wear mine next weekend.

Fleecy I think every wardrobe has room for a Burberry Smile

Looking forward to the sequel Wine

pickledsiblings · 20/03/2011 21:11

Wine cheers CHOO, sorry I didn't get the chance to chat to you last night. Same goes for KILDARE and Hells.

Thanks ladies for a great weekend. Special thanks to my roomie MrsJ for putting up with me Smile.

Roary and Verity we missed you both - get well soon.

OWW, navy Houlihans would look fab on you. You can be style twins with Bonsoir.

oops! Sorry about double post, earlier one seems to have found it's way out of cyberspace!

notyummy · 21/03/2011 07:38

Morning all! I had a lovely time on Saturday although was pretty tired all day yesterday.... Everyone looked incredible- Zembo and I were discussing in the cab on the way to the station the fact that in such a large group of ladies aged 30 to 40 plus it is testament to a mixture of hard work and Wise choices that every single person looked so incredible. Although I was feeling prematurely aged by having to use the torch app on my iPhone to read the bloody drinks menu- flattering lighting is onething; non existent is another Grin. Those who could make it were missed- perhaps we will meet again another time??

After a whole day eating inappropriate hangover food yesterday, I am on the train to London(again!) eating a healthy breakfast and plan a run this afternoon to try and start atoning for the many health crimes I committed this weekend.....
