Hi there ladies!

OP posts:
AntPants1 · 19/03/2011 17:22

Oh what a shame. I am thinking about getting it in the grey and a 12 would be perfect. I am very pale skinned with red/ blond hair (rather than those blonde who have darker warmer skin tones) so I do try and stay away from black as I think it washes me out....

Anyway have a wonderful time. Strange to think of you all meeting up and putting faces to names. Would love to do next time and anyone in London, near west field perhaps a mini meet........?

I know it's frowned upon on mumsnet but xxxx for a lovely night ladies!

Oh no Roary not you too Sad

Exhausted you're right, better to feel grotty at home than in a plane, ew. Feeling a good bit better now, have been sipping peppermint tea. I def couldn't walk in heels though!

OWW two KM coats in a week, very avid Smile

Fritzi hope come caffiene has revived you.

Great excitement here over rugby, think I shall return to bed!

Emo76 · 19/03/2011 17:53

verity and roary so sorry you aren't well, you will be missed

my family are quite amused that I am going to meet up with some "internet friends". DH said how do I know if you're not blokes..I think it would be a pretty impressive bit of trolling for 20 blokes to create identities, maintain them for a year and above all to display such sound knowledge of ladies fashion and beauty!!

hope the virtual meet goes well, I am happy to offer a virtual round of drinks and high fat bar snacks to kick it off.

OllieWollieWoo · 19/03/2011 17:57

Fritzi and i are in hotel! Wine is on the go! We may not make it down to the bar!!!

OllieWollieWoo · 19/03/2011 17:59

Oh yes, we thought we were standing next to chris moyles in m&s - until he spoke and then we werent so sure!

ApuskiDusky · 19/03/2011 18:11

Hilton people - anyone got any plasters?!

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2011 18:13

Am dressed. Wearing Dame Vivienne and the house of Harlow shoes. They are the highest I have ever worn. I hope to be sitting down this evening

carciofi · 19/03/2011 19:08

I am not far from Westfield either.

DH very happy with the rugby result and we are off out soon.

Have fun tonight!

AntPants1 · 19/03/2011 19:13

exhausted and carciofi. I would live to do a mini west field meet. I do not work on Fridays so that would be a great day for me. Anyway let the others have their very stylish weekend and perhaps we can get a date in the diary next week for a mini meet. Will have DS who is 12 months with me. He is very lovely though... Have never even considered meeting up with people I have chatted to on line but really really love this thread!!!

roary · 19/03/2011 19:27

Ladies
Sick as a dog - nap failed to improve the scenario. Would love a mini WEstfield meetup.

Back to house of germs. Missing you all.

PlumSykes · 19/03/2011 19:51

Phew! Thank God they've all gone.

Olive anyone?

rufus101 · 19/03/2011 20:16

Hi all. Hope you have a fab evening. Poor Verity and Roary. Typical.
Yeah for the rugby!!!
On my way to Shelbourne (posh bar) and wearing short Tibi black dress, satin de luxe wolfords, black KG shooboots, black burberry trench with colourful silk scarf and black tory burch clutch!
Phew. Typing is such an ordeal on this phone!

Reporting in LIVE from getting home from the MOAMU. Everyone was lovely in real life and indeed real. No men turned up!

Hope the virtual drinks ended badly with virtual kebabs and virtual night bus.

Night all.

carciofi · 20/03/2011 09:05

Good morning, are there any sore heads?

Rufus, your outfit sounds fab. I told my parents when I was 6 that I wanted to have my wedding in the Shelbourne, luckily I forgot about it when I was actually getting married!

Bloss, thanks for thinking of me about the espadrilles. I saw these blue LK Bennett ones the other day and liked them but waiting for a sale or discount!

Ants, DD goes to preschool on Fridays so I would need to leave by 11.15 to collect her, not sure if 10am would be too early for you? I can't do this Friday but could do 01/04 but if this Friday suits others, go ahead.

vinestein · 20/03/2011 09:26

Good morning everyone. What time is breakfast!? P threw a huge wobbly but on principle I'd like to come but think I might be late. eek Grin If I don't get to see you all, I would like lots of pictures please, and will see you next time, definitely.

Verity and roary hope you are feeling better

carciofi lovely shoes!

vinestein · 20/03/2011 10:14

Sad I am sorry I won't be able to make it, my life is ridiculous. I'm not allowed apparently Hmm and if I go, P says he won't look after DS for me to start my new job Sad which would be a disaster. Oh dear. Sorry ladies!! Next time- thanks for inviting me though and hope you have had and continue to have a wonderful time in London!

MarshaBrady · 20/03/2011 10:24

Ah Vin that's bad luck. Hope you are ok.

It was really fabulous to meet so many of you. I had loads of fun and a laugh so thanks! Grin.

vinestein · 20/03/2011 10:35

I'm fine thanks Marsha, just best to avoid issues at the moment until childcare is started in 2 weeks

I'm just so disappointed I didn't get to meet you- I will make an effort to meet London based AWers when you're free though, and would be fabulous to make your next meet up- please have another one Grin

have fun all! x
