Hi there ladies!

OP posts:
mrsjuan · 17/03/2011 14:00

I get in at around 3pm too Zembo - afternoon tea sounds good.

Shame you can't make it redllama. Maybe next time - there was talk of a summer meet up where we brought children and wafted around the park wearing maxis Grin

How many BBHs are there between us? Do I need to book into Fritzi's salon?

carciofi · 17/03/2011 14:21

I think pale pink suits me and I love your fuschia trench, Zembo but might be time to list and go for something like this.

Red, that is a lovely top, have added to favourites.

My DH is a little too observant for my liking!

blossoming · 17/03/2011 14:51

You could buy that jacket now and wear it open carciofi!

You sound divine today redllama!

NY, I got the Marrakesh jeans in a 27, I'm a smallish 10 bottom half I'd say, a bit pear-shaped. The indigo ones are slimming over the hips (more so than the CoH ones) because they are so dark - sometimes the colour wash on jeans can make hips look bigger I think. And mid rise is perfect. They are definitely leg lengthening, and I think good for a pear.

And not crazy expensive for premium denim!

notyummy · 17/03/2011 19:08

Thanks Apuski - it sounds like the 28 might work for me then. I am a 28 in TS (although I realise that is not the same!)

Lovely jacket Carciofi

Envy of your jeans success Apuski - def keep both

Exhausted - lovely for you to have a good amount to spend on yourself - I would hold fire on the ceramics until you move and spend most of it on clothes and have an indulgent evening (or lunch if that's easier with DS) out with friends with the rest.

DD is not well - she has thrown up twice this evening and is not her usual self - asleep now but I have prepared a pile of clean pyjamas bedclothes and drinks in case of any more 'sicking' as she calls it. Could be a long night.

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2011 20:02

MrsJ good luck. Ds1 has been wiped out for days poor thing. Lots of v bit of the d&v.

(I haven't caught it in case any one is worried about Saturday).

vinestein · 17/03/2011 20:03

update: fracture is not something that can be MUA'd (manipulated by hand basically) because it doesn't go to the side, and the bumps and weird bits at the top are ''not that visible'' (I dislike the 'that' in there!) so he was reluctant to actually do anything, and said lots of people have crunchy noses after theyve broken it but he doesn't know why Confused [grumpy]

hey ho! On the plus side I've been DVFing... erm, black dresses Blush

To be honest the problem is less the babysitter issue and more P being a psycho about me having a vague social life. Argh! If I can, I shall let you know. Sun morning would probably be easier for me- do I have to wear breton and skinnies? Then you will know who I am . And a big scarf to hide my nose Grin

mrsjuan · 17/03/2011 20:09

Poor DS (and you) Marsha I was pretty sure it was just because she had coughed quite a lot the first time but after the second bout (also preceded by coughing) I'm not so convinced.

Sorry about the nose Vin, and your P [anger]. Hope you can make it.

mrsjuan · 17/03/2011 20:10
Angry
vinestein · 17/03/2011 20:20

could someone PM me where you will be on Sunday for breakfast and a rough time? If you don't mind me bringing DS I'm sure I can get there. He might sort of wreck the vibe though, not very S&B Grin

vinestein · 17/03/2011 20:23

Oh marsha sorry to hear about DS

vinestein · 17/03/2011 20:25

I have dress down day again tomorrow at work, can't wait to get shot of them. I hate them so much Blush I have nothing to wear aargh

lovely links everyone. *carciofi I was fondling the AH bag earlier, it's lovely

MarshaBrady · 17/03/2011 20:27

Vin babies are always beautiful and therefore very S&B!

I might turn up so I can meet you too!

vinestein · 17/03/2011 20:31

My nose is more likely to wreck the vibe actually Grin at least the bruising's gone now- thanks for tips exhausted

blossoming · 17/03/2011 21:01

Thanks for looking exhausted. Did you see anything nice on your travels?
I like the idea of a morning meet up. I thought we could add trenches to our skinny jeans, Breton looks, then realised we'd be channelling EA's daughter! Still a good look though!

ApuskiDusky · 17/03/2011 21:06

Aaargh! It's just dawned on me that I am planning to catch a train to London the morning after the bloody Gold Cup (slight clue as to where I will be catching a train). Am now contemplating either driving somewhere else to catch a train, or leaving at 9am in the hope of avoiding the hordes. Why did this not occur to me until now?!

blossoming · 17/03/2011 21:33

Oh dear apuski. Avoid the hungover hordes at all costs! My train is at 0755!

ApuskiDusky · 17/03/2011 21:51

Alternatively, if I upgrade to first class, do you think I could snag myself a footballer?!

notyummy · 17/03/2011 21:55

Apuski - I have upgraded to first class for my return journey on Sunday when I may be a bit delicate. Didnt cost that much more and I thought the peace and coffee brought to my table was worth it!

Exhausted impressed at you doing your own dress alterations. I'd love a sewing machine to do my own too but not sure I can justify it (i.e. probably wouldn't use it much)

I've booked first class on the train both ways, the difference in dosh wasn't much at all.

MrsJ hope your DD was ok last night.

Looking forward to giving the MOAMU my proper attention today and getting organised.

Vin PLEASE do try and make Sun morning. Your DS will only add to the vibe Grin Toddlers are just so delicious!

Carciofi lovely jacket and very you I think.

I took my python clutch out last night. Think it was freaking some of my friends out!
