Hi there ladies!

OP posts:
VerityBrulee · 15/03/2011 13:55

OOh thanks for that Emo

OWW LOVE the idea of skinnies and breton flashmob for Sun breakfast, we should do it Grin

Carciofi so sorry you won't be there, we'll have to meet another time to reminisce about TCD. Great you love the Gracie, lovely things are always worth the wait.

I am bringing furry coat, I will not be parted from in until May 1st at the earliest.

FritziGreenEyes · 15/03/2011 14:34

bloss pure jacket + bec maybe?

Sorry for double post earlier, I'm a bit of a klutz with my iPhone.

carciofi · 15/03/2011 15:13

Zembo, I like your clutch, very chic.

PickledSiblings, the other bag was way too pink - Pepto Bismol pink!

I am wearing the Houlihans now, they fit apart from the small problem of not being able to close the button. Wink

Verity, we could meet in BTs when I am next in Dublin.

DD is wired after eating loads of cake so I am going to march her around the park!

OllieWollieWoo · 15/03/2011 15:56

Zembo - lovely bag. Sort of shape/design/material that will prove a good buy over the years I think.

Funny Dutch story for you - had parents evening last night for DS1. He'd had v good test results, keen to learn, well liked by the other children, etc etc but then it all turned serious and they made a big thing about him needing to improve......his singing! Honestly! DH snorted and then turned it into a cough!

I can get 75e off the cream KM trench coat and now keep thinking about it. Think the sensible thing to do is to try a variety of different ones on in London to compare as I've not been looking out for that style of coat and only tried it on at the request of SIL.

OllieWollieWoo · 15/03/2011 16:32

Saw these clogs today (in shoeshop next to supermarket so technically I wasn't shopping!)
www.rubbersole.co.uk/sanita_ulrika_sandal_brown. Not a huge fan of clogs on me but these were v nice - also in grey.

choo I have missed your fabulous links!

ollie DS1 needs to improve his singing?!

zembo Gorgeous handbag!

notyummy Lovely outfit despite the weather. We had 20 degrees today but forecast is miserable for tomorrow.

blossoming · 15/03/2011 17:24

It's okay everyone. I'm being holistic re moamu. The dress is only one aspect! Bec is staying at home!

Operation make £300 is at £50. Back to more listing tomorrow (30 items, £10 each was the idea!)

OllieWollieWoo · 15/03/2011 18:16

Thanks exhausted - whilst looking at Zara website for trenches, I saw this Zara bikini here(in both colourways) and this bag in nude here

LTEC · 15/03/2011 19:52

quick wave Have not caught up - are you all discussing MOAMU outfits?? Grin

anyone else still wearing the Warehouse swallow blouse? I wore mine today with Goldsign misfits, Ash Jalouse boots and camel coat. Was at Tate Modern. It should be warm! or at least warmer. Brrrr and grrrr.

Such lovely purchasing going on Smile Hurrah for the Gracie carciofi - and lovely bags from Choo and Zembo too. I am rubbish at bags and have just about resigned myself to not having a new one for SS.

ASOS delivery awaiting my perusal .. pink jeans anyone? Wink

LTEC I saw a gorgeous hot pink Coccinelle bag today and thought of you. Might be a bit too matchy-matchy when you wear your pink jeans this summer Smile

Fleecy · 15/03/2011 21:58

LTEC I have cheated and have this which is similar print and style but have gone back to blonde so can only wear with hair up or I look all wishy washy. The blonde is great for summer but think that's wishful thinking on my part given that it's only just spring! Grin

That is very pretty everything.

oww I actually really like that bag in the orange. Good way to freshen up a plain jeans/tee combo in summer.

Zembo · 16/03/2011 06:25

Anniemac I've got that belt in black. It's been a really good buy,I've worn it loads already.

LTEC what are you wearing to the MOAMU? Fab outfit you had on yesterday.

Everything really like that John Lewis dress.

carciofi · 16/03/2011 09:34

I like the sound of your outfit, LTEC.

Exhausted, glad your DS is better. I bought the bag in black. Wish I'd seen it in tan when it was on sale.

MrsCB, selling the Phil and Teds should go a good way towards funding the bag.

Annie, lovely belt.

OWW, that Zara bag was mentioned in Grazia yesterday. Get the trench, it's a classic!

Have friends and their kids coming for lunch so better get cooking and tidying.

notyummy · 16/03/2011 09:56

Have just noticed that in at least one of the PMs I have sent out about the MOAMU I have refered in a link to a 'Lunge' bar, instead of 'Lounge' bar.

Fear not ladies! Despite my love of exercise, I will not be expecting a few sets of squats and lunges whilst we imbibe Grin. Don't let me stop you though if the urge overtakes you......

Morning all!
I'm sure you look amazing exhausted. Parenting is a minefield isn't it? I'm happy that I moved to a new town when I had my first 2, so I wasn't around my 'old' friends who had dcs the same time, but I knew were coming from completely different schools of thought to me. I just avoided the subject completely with them.

carciofi are you still feeling a bit guilty?

notyummy, lunging at moamu LOL. I also LOLed at thought of walking a mile in my shoeboots. Need to pack walkable flats possibly?

Fleecy · 16/03/2011 10:54

Glad it wasn't just me bloss - I can't walk that far in heels unless drunk so at least I won't be alone in wanting a taxi!

exhausted bet you look fab. Competitive = insecure most likely.

MrsCB and carciofi is it worth posting your P&Ts on here for sale? There's a pram forum and classified section I think?

blossoming · 16/03/2011 11:44

fleecy, those shoeboots were the start of my slippery slope! I can see an end in sight now thanks to great eBay sales but I don't intend to trash the shoeboots by walking that far in them after all that!

loobylu3 · 16/03/2011 11:59

kildare, bloss and anyone else planning to be around Oxford St/ Bond St are, I would love to meet you for lunch if I am there in time. I was planning to go to Selfridges to buy a bit of make up with a voucher I have and would like to try on the Uniqlo skinny cargos too.

Do you have any specific plans yet? PM me if you fancy trying to meet and I can give you my details :)

exhausted-I hope you have a nice lunch with your friend. I can't stand competitive parenting either! Super competitive parents are just projecting their own inadequacies!

choo- gorgeous purchases you lucky thing!
carciofi- congrats on acquiring the gracie!
zembo- pleased you are feeling well enough to come and look forward to meeting you.

red, mrsCB, carciofi and everyone else who can't come, hope you can make it next time!

blossoming · 16/03/2011 12:12
