WincyEtNightie · 12/02/2011 20:09

Done Aitch Grin

Though I'm steering away from anymore "this product is brilliant" threads for the time being!

wildfig · 12/02/2011 20:41

Holy Nora. It's amazing. My hair normally looks like Crystal Tipps'. Now it looks like Nicole Kidman's. Can't say it's 'big', but it's definitely straight with a bit of bounce, which is as much as any hairdresser's achieved without putting rollers in it.

UrsulaBuffay · 12/02/2011 21:20

Surely for non twirly you'd just not press the button? My DH didn't seem to notice anything different but that's not a surprise. Can't wait to do my hair again tomorrow!

FellatioNelson · 12/02/2011 21:39

Yep you hit the nail on the head there wildfig.

bluebump · 12/02/2011 21:40

I was thinking about getting one of these before Christmas and held off but I really fancy one now. My hair is very fine and so can be very flat and no amount of amazing products makes it look good every day.

Feargalthecat · 12/02/2011 22:47

After reading all your reviews I really wanted one but was too tight to fork out 45 quid but got one at Asda today for 22.50 :) Tried my local Asda on Thursday they were unpriced but scanned at £45, was at another store today and they were priced £22.50 down from £35, result!!

TragicallyHip · 12/02/2011 22:52

Yes I saw the thread cyb! Hence why I stated you will be along soon to profess your undying love for it!

Apology accepted

Ahhh..I thought you were insinuating I agree with icods every word

Which, tragically, I usually do Hmm

TragicallyHip · 12/02/2011 23:29

Ah no, you got there first!! Wink

FluffyMummy123 · 13/02/2011 08:41

How is your ratio of hold to rolling ? Has anyone managed to do ringlets by mistake?

Gah are heeled desert boots back?

They were awful and cheap looking first time round!

FluffyMummy123 · 13/02/2011 10:36

I am poised to give the reservation number to DH who is poised to go to Argos....

I am going to skank around in pjs til he gets home. This had better be good!

geordieminx · 13/02/2011 11:10

Just used mine....absolutely bloody love it! Washed hair on Friday, scrunch dried, ran ghd's through it yesterday, so this morning it wad looking flat greasy and rubbish. Sprayed roots with batiste and then gave it a whirl(on dry hair). It's given it volume, stopped the bits at the back "Wang-ing" and generally made it look nice in about 5 minutes! So easy to use.

Only complaint is 10ft of cable... Nor really necessary, could plug it in the bedroom and do hair on garden Grin

FluffyMummy123 · 13/02/2011 11:10

Oh god I feel a gadget coming on. I have longer than shoulder length hair, no fringe....just long hair. I hate it, but hate the hairdressers too.

Would it work on my dead straight hair or do you need a fringe? Is it easy? I spend zero time on my hair in the morning. I just want my hair to have a bit of volume and not lie flat to my head all the time.
