Get a haircut, Fun. Who has an hour and a half spare to dry their hair. Are you some sort of glamour puss?

FluffyMummy123 · 11/02/2011 21:35

I am a glamour-puss, yes Grin. As I said, I have to wear it long to weigh the curl down a bit, and so it still goes past my shoulders when it's curly. I look a bit mumsy with it shorter.

MmeLindt · 11/02/2011 21:40

I could not be bothered drying my hair for 90 mins.

Takes me 20 mins to shower, do hair and makeup if I have hurry cause I have spent too long on MN and Twitter

CMOTdibbler · 11/02/2011 21:40

Can you really use it with just one hand ? This may be the answer to my prayers as the one handed blow drying does not work, and I want to cut my hair

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/02/2011 21:40

BOF your hair must be so thick - am envious as have lank wisps.

Agree cod re long straight hair - Like Jerry Hall - cut your haya, Jerry.

I am getting the Big hair thingy tomorrow. I have a very similar thing already, but am sucker for new hair dryer whatsits.

Is the Moroccan oil like Frizz ease but sans silicon?

KeepCalmAndCarryOnMNing · 11/02/2011 21:40

I have curly hair naturally, but my hairdresser does me a lovely bouncy, swishy blow dry when I get my (shoulder length) hair cut. Will it help me achieve that?

I've seen it at a good price in Costco this week so am tempted to make a purchase...

WhatsWrongWithYou · 11/02/2011 21:40

< Jealous of BoF's curls >

Tillyscoutsmum · 11/02/2011 21:41

Right. Have ordered one

traceybath · 11/02/2011 21:42

Lol at BOF as amish-like Smile

I would love curly hair - DD's hair seems to be curly and I am so hoping it stays like that.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 11/02/2011 21:43

Morroccan oil not really like Frizz-ease as it's much lighter and doesn't give you an itchy scalp or a bad smell.

MmeLindt · 11/02/2011 21:43

CMOT
I MN and Tweet while doing my hair, so yes, you can do it one handed.

I am so doing a video for youtube next week. ARE YOU LISTENING BABYLISS?

WhatsWrongWithYou · 11/02/2011 21:44

Will you be wearing a low-cut top and smokey eyes?

BitOfFun · 11/02/2011 21:44

GetOrf- the Morroccan Oil stuff is full of silicone, but the magic ingredient is argan oil, which if you buy it alone is both cheaper and silicone-free. If you have curly or dry hair, it's best to steer clear of silicones (so get rid of them from your conditioner too, and buy something like Original Source Tea Tree Conditioner).

blackletterday · 11/02/2011 21:45

That sounds quite promising Alouiseg and Mmelindt, I really need a new haircut. Maybe the bbh could work.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 11/02/2011 21:46

< Ditches Morroccan oil, orders argan oil >

LessNarkyPuffin · 11/02/2011 21:47

I've bookmarked it now. I visit it daily. Next week it will be mine.

Argan oil is great drizzled over split pea soup BTW.

ClaireDeLoon · 11/02/2011 21:47

BoF would you mind linking to the Argan Oil you recommend please?

CMOTdibbler · 11/02/2011 21:48

Thanks Mme, will order one now - 6 months I've had to dry my hair holding the dryer between my knees, and it's not easy

ruddynorah · 11/02/2011 21:48

Moroccan oil is amazing. I have long curly hair and it makes it so gorgeously shiny. It actually manages to hold the curl and keeps them soft.

I straighten my hair sometimes and the moroccan oil makes it ultra glossy.

I can not speak highly enough of it. I'm complemented constantly on my hair, whether it's curly or straight.

pointydog · 11/02/2011 21:49

Argan oil? Hair or Food section?

BitOfFun · 11/02/2011 21:50

Here you go. You only use a 5p sized bit, lasts for ages.

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/02/2011 21:50

Thanks BoF - I worship at the altar of frizz ease normally, but that sounds good stuff.

Is that argan oil made from nuts which have been eaten from goats, and berber women sift through goat shit to glean said nuts, which are then ground down to make magic oil?

I am sure I read that somewhere.
