I LOVE my BBH. My hair is massive and shiny.

Stuffedcat · 14/02/2011 13:53

Just used mine for the second time and already its getting easier. I even managed to get the weird kinks out near my crown, and my hair looks SO bouncy, god I love this product.

DrNortherner - Mine is just below shoulders (and very thick, takes the hairdresser ages to dry it)took me about 15 mins - but think I'll be able to do it quicker after a few more times.

DollyTwat · 14/02/2011 17:11

I have one and it's lovely, don't think I can live without it now

my hair is fine, straight and in a short bob. I've always had flat, straggly hair and now it looks beautiful

BUY ONE

DukesOfTripHazard · 14/02/2011 17:47

"You dont whizz ALL the time-whizz for a bit then just let it blow"

DH should be back with mine very shortly. Can I do it on dry hair? I don't have long before I'm off out.

NorkyButNice · 14/02/2011 18:10

Right.

For anyone who is still debating whether they ought to buy a bbh - JUST DO IT!

That's me over there in the middle on the Will Young video (and that's after hours of hair taming - normally I'm a frizzball).

I washed my hair, towel dried, put some leave in conditioner then stuck it up in a towel on my head for half an hour. Then attacked with the bbh with no sectioning or planning, just to see how well It worked, and in 20 minutes I have a head of (armttedly bouffant) straight hair. Incredible.

Buy one.

Now!

geordieminx · 14/02/2011 18:55

It's fab on dry hair too.... Have dry shampoo'd ,mine the past 2 days and then whizzed in the BBH... It looks fab.... Intact, I used it after I had Ben skiing this morning, and had worn a helmet and it still worked amazingly!

rusmum · 14/02/2011 19:21

mine is ordered yay !!!1

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/02/2011 19:24

Mine has arrived. I am beyond excited. I am actually looking forward to getting up tomorrow and using it Grin

cyb · 14/02/2011 19:29

WOW norky I'm impressed! Your hair is CURLY!

My H said my hair has never looked better and how I look like I've just had it done every day

MaterMetella · 14/02/2011 19:35

Okay, notwithstanding having just had a Braziliana (great) and owning a parlux and ghds I think I am going to need to invest as I have v difficult hair. Will frizz if there is rain 500 miles away (better post braziliana) and has that brittle and wiry look (mmm - enviable huh?!) Is it the rotating one on amazon for 42.50 that I want?

cyb · 14/02/2011 19:36

Mater I am the queen of frizz usually, no more, not with this beauty

FluffyMummy123 · 14/02/2011 19:37

i need help doing the right side
i do tend do get other bits of hair creeping in

OP posts:
FluffyMummy123 · 14/02/2011 19:37

no one at ALL has noticed

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/02/2011 19:38

Mater - is a Braziliana a Brazillian Blow Dry ?? I'm having one on Thursday. Have you been impressed ?

noddyholder · 14/02/2011 19:39

Cod i tried that dress you like in warehouse and didn't buy it Now sold out and was great on AAAh!! Try it looks really good

MaterMetella · 14/02/2011 19:41

Okay i'm going to hit buy. If this works will be over the moon. I usually get to swish for two days after a salon visit (and that feels great- seems to make skin glow). Then back to frizz. Have always said if had heaps of time and cash I would never wash own hair. Sadly... Not exactly the case..

MaterMetella · 14/02/2011 19:45

It was a brazilianblow try but the products I got given were braziliana. Yes, really impressed - hair much softer and more managable and easier to blow dry. I have really thick hair so would usually take ages. But I do definitely need to blow dry - someone gave me the impression it would look shiny and amazing whatever you did to it (coming out of pools etc) which isn't right, although even then feels softer...

cyb · 14/02/2011 20:04

Mater I am doing the conditioner only method (no shampoo since pre Xmas) adn that has helped my hair loads too

ONE person at work said my hair looked nice

But I knew

MaterMetella · 14/02/2011 20:30

Yes read about that - think I'll try too [swishes back]

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/02/2011 20:33

Mater - sorry for all the questions... My hair looks ok atm when its freshly washed, blow dried, straightened etc but if I don't do it every day, it looks shite. I was hoping the Brazilian would mean I could at least go a day or two in between washing etc. Is that realistic do you think ?

RamblingRosa · 14/02/2011 20:42

So, with this Babyliss thing, does it not make your hair a bit tangled? It sounds amazing and I'm quite tempted but I can't help thinking it looks like it must really rough up the cuticle and knacker your hair. Anyone been using it for long enough to say whether it's bad for the condition or not?

Tilly I used to get a brazillian blow dry but then decided to stop because it cost a fortune, didn't make much difference, and seemed to be ruining the condition of my hair!

I really don't recommend it but some people rave about it.

I don't think it would mean that you can go longer between washes. Just makes it easier to style when you do wash it and gives you a sleeker finish. You do still have to style though.

MaterMetella · 14/02/2011 20:48

Oh yes, should think so. (in fact you know you can't wash it/ go out in rain/ wear hat for 4 days after having it done don't you?). Yes, should retain straightness and shine much better so I think you'll notice a huge difference. A week after I did it I was in and out of sauna/ shower and had hopes that it would still be glossy and shiny as I sat there which it wasn't tbh. But a wash and dry later it was sleeker again (and super sleek with ghds - not everyone needs to do that step - as I say, my hair really difficult).

The taming product they give you really good.

Can anyone recommend a good conditioner for no poo method? ie w/o silicones (and pref w/o sodium as well as not meant to use sodium with Brazilian).

DollyTwat · 14/02/2011 21:43

cod years ago I had a full head of extensions done. I went from shoulder length thin hair to long-to-my-waist flowing hair.

I worked (then) with engineers, not one person noticed. I left it 3 weeks before I asked someone if they noticed anything different

they couldn't tell me

cyb · 14/02/2011 22:38

Rambling my hair looks and feels in much better condition

the bristles are very soft, makes my hair dead shiney and smooth

ilythia · 14/02/2011 22:51

I had a compliment off a teenage girl earlier.

Whose mum is a hairdresser.

Now. My hair is chin length, works great, but DD1's is shoulder blade length and it doesn't make it all smooth and shiny, it frizzes and doesn't curl under.
Why can't I do her hair?
