Thanks MM, and I'm so pleased you liked the swimming costume.
So now my interview outfit is sorted, back to the drawing board re rugby. And DH has said he wants to be in his seat an hour beforehand. Wasting valuable drinking time.

Bloss, nude heels and a bf blazer and that dress would look fab I'm sure. Your chosen outfit sounds the perfect combination of practical and professional. Do you watch Teachers TV? There are some great ideas from award winning teachers on there. I vaguely remember a Spanish lady who did great things with words in envelopes. If you've watched it you'll know what I mean (if not you are probably thinking I am mad by now Grin). Anyway, good luck with it all.

Outfit sounds great Blossoming! when is the interview again?

Georgina- like those dresses.

Verity- I had a bowl of porridge for breakfast with grapefruit. Then 3 bean soup for lunch, with an apple and some green and blacks. Maybe too much fibre before running??!

I am really enjoying the books I am reading with dd at the moment- lovely to have reached the 'proper book' age! We are doing Milly Molly Mandy, The Worst Witch and Prince Caspian. She got a Roald Dahl boxed set for Christmas so that's next.

Some good news - I have been offered both jobs I was interviewed for last week. Just have to decide what to do next.....

I have been unwell with a vomiting bug which started yesterday- horrid crampy pains, vomiting yesterday evening. Feeling better now but haven't eaten much yet which is unlike me :)

However, not feeling as sorry for myself now after reading about poor zembo. How horrible and frightening to have collapsed :(
You really have had a run of dreadful luck and I hope it starts to change from now on. It sounds as if you must take some time off work and ask for help with the boys so that you can recover. I hope that you can manage to take it a bit easier than normal.

MM- shopping therapy and a holiday sounds like good therapy for you sad loss. It won't make it go away but pampering yourself does make you feel temporarily better. I had a mc some years back and spent about £500 in one day making myself feel better!
I love the Reiss short sleeved top in the blue (love bright colours) and the cream. I also like the lotta clogs and I'm not normally a fan of those type of shoes.

vin- that letting agent sounds horrible- please that you are not having to deal with her any more. I've always found letting agents pretty useless personally- apologies to any lovely and conscientious ones reading!
Your outfit for nursing interview sounds appropriate. Can you do mid heels or does P not allow those either Hmm. Seriously, although I don't actually know you at all you come across as strong, intelligent, positive and really witty and you really deserve better.
What sort of job is it btw- sounds a big leap from what you are doing at present.

bloss- interview on Monday- wow!

OWW- you sound like a great hostess.

tracey- what a relief- finding the earring!

fritzi- skiing sounds fabulous. I've never been but always wanted to. Hope it will be the holiday you both deserve.

choo- forgot to say- gorgeous DVF orange dress the other day.

Am thinking of buying a short sleeved silk top for work similar to this but not dry clean only!
I fancy red/ deep pink.

Am also wondering about a yellow day dress. Has anyone seen anything wearable for SS?

Am off for a bath to make my sore tummy feel better :)
