VIn - I'm doing exactly the same. Why why why do people wait so long to go to the drs for such debilitating things?

Welcome all delurkers!

Vin It's the least we can do.

Anyhoo we'll have you running the Marathon des Sables next year Smile

PlumSykes · 28/01/2011 21:32

Vin, I think the sign is a sign! Small and cute sounds great, and upstairs rather than ground floor sounds really safe and secure. Stairs with a toddler are only a problem for such a short time. Honestly! My DS is 20 months, and has been scooting up and down stairs with no probs for a good two months now. Only issue would be space at street level for pushchair-you don't want to be hauling it up and down stairs every day.

hellsbelles · 28/01/2011 21:34

VIn - that is exciting about the flat...it does sound like fate doesn't it?

The Kindle is really wonderful and I used the 'less books and clutter' excuse as well!

PlumSykes · 28/01/2011 21:36

Hmm, would I like a Kindle, perhaps? It is my birthday soon, so maybe...

hellsbelles · 28/01/2011 21:39

oh plum - you will love it. I tried and tried to wait for my birthday...but it's just too far away and I was buying too many books (weak excuse)

Vin You know something, you could probably do it with just the sheer spirit and determination you have inside you. Smile

Vin - there are hundreds of thousands but I'm not sure about text books...tell me the names of a couple you would be interested in and I'll have a look if there are on there?
