Have just ordered 2 pairs of boots, one down from £180 to £85, the other £145 down to £39!! Grin

There are 2 codes that can be used, KGDELIVERY10 gives you 20% off and KGWELCOME10 give you £20 off your first order if over £50

OP posts:
PinkOlives · 13/01/2011 17:13

well i never received a second dispatch email, and my boots were delivered today. Only thing is i was not at home to receive them! Sad the wait continues!!

not necessary for 2nd email then Hmm

Holymoly321 · 13/01/2011 19:48

Am thinking of ordering some of their own brand boots but just wondering what the sizing is like. Are they about right or do they come up big or small?

CabbagefromaBaby · 13/01/2011 20:25

Don't quote me but about right, I think Sassy.

Pink - I know, I didn't have a second email about one pair either and they turned up today.

Bonkers.

Hope you get them tomorrow.

Holymoly321 · 13/01/2011 21:03

PinkOlives · 13/01/2011 21:52

Glad you got yours hope they are great!

PinkOlives · 13/01/2011 22:01

oohh no they sold out! Sad

moragbellingham · 13/01/2011 22:59

sausage I'm a 4/37 but last pair of KG own brand boots I bought was a 3/36 (bought instore and tried on).
However, I would never dare order a size smaller online so have gone for the 37s this time!
I have beavers and sadlers in my hallway waiting to try on, yay.

Postie brought them in such a huge box that when I said they were just boots he said "thigh high" with a glintShock

CabbagefromaBaby · 14/01/2011 06:46

LOL at thigh high! Grin

I wouldn't mind my parcelforce man winking at me but the others, well, no thanks...

I have succumbed to a pair of real life boots in an actual shop which are Fly 'Ota' in, erm, grey it says (can't find them listed anywhere, must be last year's) so am all booted out.

Thankyou, Netbook and Kurt Geiger for a thoroughly exciting sale bonanza Smile

I need this sort of thing about once a year. It is good for the soul!

Good luck, all.

bellavita · 14/01/2011 12:21

Oh effin' hell.

I am at work. I have just tracked my parcel and it says they tried to deliver my boots this morning and I know either have to go and pick them up or arrange another delivery. I have tried to rearrange so I could go on my way home from work, but I need the blardy card number they have posted through my door.

CabbagefromaBaby · 14/01/2011 12:24

I think at this juncture Bella you can legitimately ring them up and cry on the phone.

You never know.

bellavita · 14/01/2011 12:36

Do you reckon?

Will try...

FanellaFidge · 14/01/2011 12:58

Can you use both codes?

BecauseItoldYouSo · 14/01/2011 13:32

You can use both codes but not for one transaction. I have made two purchases and used both codes. In fact you can use the 20% off one multiple times if you so choose. Bad for my wallet! Grin

FanellaFidge · 14/01/2011 13:48

Thank you, have used the £20 off one and bought some boots and some heels, should have been £145, got for £42! Thank you netbook!!

FanellaFidge · 14/01/2011 13:50

Just reading through tread... are people finding that even though sizes are shown as available online there is still a chance they could be out of stock?

treedelivery · 14/01/2011 13:55

I have all shoes and boots Smile

I like them all actually. The ultra cheap mitfords look a little...er...cheap imo. The leather isn't great. I was thinking with heavy tights and little skirt, but not sure really. The brown is a little light too. I think they will all go back tbh

If you had £20 off a large order, and return all but one pair, will you get £20 off that pair, or a percentage of £20 spread over whole order?
If I get £20 off the Mitfords I'll keep them, if it's a percentage then maybe not.

Hmmmm.

BecauseItoldYouSo · 14/01/2011 13:58

It is a percentage of the entire order if you have ordered more than one pair.

treedelivery · 14/01/2011 14:01

Oh bobbins.

treedelivery · 14/01/2011 14:01

Cheers for the info btw Smile

aquavit · 14/01/2011 14:48

I think it OUGHT to be the case that if you keep enough of the order that it would have been over £50 (before the discount), then they ought to refund you the full sale price of the ones you send back - so, as if you had in the first place ordered only the shoes you decide to keep. But looking at the delivery notes it's obvious that they spread the discount across each pair, so I don't expect this to happen without a call to customer services

that is certainly a call I'll be making, though!

treedelivery · 14/01/2011 14:53

Oooo go for it aquavit. See if you can clear it for your chums on mn too, after all this thread has generated some pretty good sales for them Grin

moragbellingham · 14/01/2011 15:02

The beavers are nice and boring and practical and unexciting - sound great don't they? And I'll probably keep them.

Starsky, on the other hand, I love.

Sadlers, I think are awful. I didn't notice they had white stiching on a dark brown boot??

BecauseItoldYouSo · 14/01/2011 15:03

Aquavit - I did question this when I returned my shoes to the KG store that did not fit.

At the end of the day they are nice enough to accept the codes for sales items (almost all retailers have a caveat that does not allow this) so they can decide to discount according to the code as they choose.

Tis True so Fair Enough.

aquavit · 14/01/2011 15:25

hmm, I take your point BITYS, though I may still give it a shot. Will let you know how I get on ... (since I only posted the returns yesterday it will be a while yet though)

PinkOlives · 14/01/2011 15:59

ooo WHitbys have arrived - at last! they are nice enough different to how i thought but i was warned they would be slouchy. Am wearing olive green skinnies and they go great.

Soft leather and soles are well made, but the "sheepskin" lined is only about two inches down and grey so not the whole boot.

Its a different colour to what i'd normally go for so am still considerng, but not bad for an everyday boot.

[still contemplating what the tan wouldve looked like]
