Bloss I have hip issues in terms of not being hip enough (style wise) Smile and do think my hips stick out a tad too much. Diet is kicking in and waist as def shrunk which is great but then hips seem even wider.
I think short or long coats are better on me - things that sit below waist just don't seem to suit. I think I should use some of my allowance and get the stylist back to go through clothing styles and build my knowledge and confidence up a bit.

Warehouse dress is very nice. A bit plain and not especially fitted (ie skims waist)but can see being quite useful when I want to dress up a bit but not too much. I love the bling on the cuffs!

Brought some weights today (did Shred yesterday without them and arms still hurt - I have a long way to go!) Weights are a lovely coral red colour! I think I need to invest in some proper work out gear too!

Everything, sorry you are still feeling ill. I hope your parents were supportive.

Roary, glad the money is sorted out. I always have books lined up. I am looking forward to the long flight to NZ as I can get loads of reading in.

OWW, you need some Sweaty Betty gear!

Just got the Anya Hindmarch spring/summer catalogue, there are some lovely bags. I think that would make a nice new baby present from DH. :)

I cancelled the practical oatmeal sofas and ordered gorgeous raspberry coloured ones. I hope scotch guarding furniture works.

Ltec they are lovely but the Edelmans were comparatively very cheap! Thank you for finding them!

And I asked my great friend re venue then realised what an idiot! I mean I muttered something about it being a party for mothers and realised why the hell would I have a party and not invite her! Ach

Might have to 'fess up about my on line (soon to be rl) equally clothes obsessed friends! Shock Grin

After a big trying on session I'm returning the Nudie High Kais. Also this dress in grey from Zara as it is far too short for me. Will re-order this silk top in S as I feel swamped by all that fabric or maybe the cut is all wrong for me. Only keepers from Zara are a gray cardi for me and a raspberry coloured one for DD Hmm.
This is ok for 23 Euros but I somehow missed that the top is only part patterned fabric and part black and it just doesn't look right. Oh well...

Afternoon ladies. Have spent all morning on the phone chasing up DD's new bed. Looks like it's back to the drawing board or at least it did until I remembered nice friend with v. nice antique pine sleigh bed to spare - the cheek of it Grin.

carcofi, scotch guarding works until you wash the covers. You are getting removable ones, right?

My mattress looks as good as new now, my hands (after all the 'foaming') not so much.

roary, you sound much happier today Smile

LTEC, the 4am start reminds me of being a student and last minute cramming. So does the pro plus.

Marsha, could you wear them with grey socks? Just treat them as if they were patent. At first glance that is what people will think they are - no? Giggled at them with ecru tights - no wonder they looked too black Grin.

OWW, I'm off to shred now, you've inspired me. I will not be using weights or BB cans.

Sorry to hear about everyone's crap days yesterday; people sound brighter today, so fingers crossed.

To join in, had terrible day. Backwards steps with potty-training adding to the endless washing and DH and I at loggerheads about a promotion he is reticent to go for, but that I think he should. So tricky - don't want to be a pushy wife cliche. Job is perfect for him, but his current job affords him lots of early finishes and time with us. He is keen for no. 3 which means me at home for a bit longer (no point in me going back due to childcare costs and he has overtaken me massively in terms of income), which means I feel we need a bigger household income. Gah.

Was out with my sister last night, planning her wedding which cheered me a little.

LTEC sorry to hear of health issues, sending lots of positive vibes your way. Hope you manage to get cracking on the work front!

Glad to hear your voice has returned Everything, hope e conversation with your parents brought you a little bit of catharsis.

Carciofi, raspberry sofas sound amazing!

Hi Sophable, from one recent de-lurked to another.

I have added Romanholiday- love the name plus roary and choo.

hells- had you as hellesbelles so have corrected- sorry!

bloss- I don't think I'm a Spring as my colouring is v different to those ladies and I don't have those sort of colours in my wardrobe. I don't think I suit bright yellow at all nor orangey red or bright blues. The Summer and Winter colours look much more the sort of colours I own. Do Summers and Winter always suit white?
Did you get any further with becoming a Colour Consultant?

Those Liberty print Brora dresses are rather lovely and I like the tights and socks too. Actually, strike that I like it all!

LTEC- could you do some work at the weekends when your DH is around? Would you consider a mother's help a couple of mornings a week to prevent exhaustion?

Forgot to say: I'm keeping the Lipsy faux fur although I should have gone a size down. As I see it as my "practice fur" before maybe getting the real thing one day, it should be ok though.

everything Hope the fresh air helps... At least your voice is back.

bonsoir That school looks lovely! However, I don't envy anyone who has to learn German as a foreign language. Very unusual for a French school, non?

bloss Please show us the jacket! I'm doing a sale roulette: If it is still there when bloss has hers and says it's nice, I'll order one Smile.

tracey Are you going to get the LV scarf from a shop or order online. I called them last week only to be told that they no longer have any waiting lists for items. Said they would have it in stores from 15th but I don't know if I'll make it there on the day. Of course I'm really hankering after one now Smile

That made no sense-was in some way cathartic.

Also, Bloss, DH and I have been shredding together. Find it to be quite motivating, although from the sounds of things, you don't need any motivation!

Lovely photos Looby. You look familiar, but maybe too young to be. If you are actually about 38 (in which case please share your skincare regime!) and went to Oxford Uni then I might know you.

Red I have been shredding with the kids, they love it and it's very cute.

German good Bonsoir - they are taking over the EU institutions. I think it may be a key skill for aspiring Eurotrashettes Wink

bloss I thought you and your DH did shred together; was that just a one-off ages ago? Or maybe I am I misremembering. DS3 (almost 3) joins in with me. He's very good at the cooldown. and he tells me which level I have to do (I am alternating between 2 & 3 right now).

roary I got the skinnies in a 28 last night; smaller sizes (26 and below) not available. Glad you like my cardie too; I love it.

looby do you look good in greys at all? I find it really hard to assess whether a colour is good on me or not (easier after the consultation though), but always knew light/marl grey was not good. And I think that pretty much ruled me out as a summer or winter. Would you agree bloss?

choo I too couldn't contemplate getting up at 4am. I struggle to be up by 8! Much more productive at nights and always have been.

Bloss - love the jacket especially with the scarf.

And you know - you look like a different woman to the photos you first had up here - think you were wearing a pink linen top. You looked lovely then but now you look amazing. Think I may have start shredding after seeing you Smile

You look utterly fab!
